GAMMA: Usain Watts interview

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

I am proud to have GAMMA legend and future hall of famer to our studios, Usain Watts! Welcome here Usain, so lets get started!

Question #1 It is quite remarkable the level of competition you fought in GAMMA. Virtually all of your fights were up against current of future Hall of famers. You also had a few rubber matches as well. Which GAMMA duel was the most interesting to you?

Usain: Thanks for having me Mentor. Man I have had a couple of really good duels, so it's hard to pick a favorite. But I'd have to say Mr Sexual himself..... Fred Ettish. He's got 2 KO's on me & won the 3rd fight in a 5 round war, all 3 fights won FON honors. I would love one more crack at Coquettish. Do you know what that means by the way? If you don't..look it up.

Question #2 You joined GAMMA at a later stage in your career but have still amounted a decent run of 24 fights. Do you regret not joining earlier?

Usain: Q2: I've always fought in the big leagues my whole career. Back in my Hilo days, I fought for Blitz & Reach but when I joined Team Fight Club, Tycoon Legend signed me to GAMMA. I wanted to fight the best guys & the best guys were at GAMMA.

Question #3 You lost 2 fights to Raz Matazz and then Keith Green for the title, but eventually beat Josip Ruzic to finally win the title, however did you expect to become a 2 time champion beating Ejnar Thorsen?

Usain: Q3: Ejnar Thorsen has heavy heavy hands Mentor. After he KO'd me in the 1st fight I thought I was probably done. But when I won the rematch, I was as shocked as the bookmakers. Winning the GAMMA strap twice were the greatest moments of my career.

Question #4 Your next fight is against up and comer Kris Hong. Kris is 14 years younger at 24y of age! How does that feel going up against these new generation talent?

Usain: Q4: Kris who? Ha ha! I haven't fought one of these next gen guys yet. Looking at his record, he hasn't fought very hard opposition so far. It will be my pleasure to test his chin for Topo. Wink ;)

Question #5 You are 38 years old. Are you feeling a bit tired by now or do you still have the desire to keep doing this?

Usain: I'm just taking it one fight at a time for now. I have the desire but Im not sure if my body feels the same way. A lot of my teammates at Team Fight Club have been retiring in the last few months. We'll see what happens.
