GAMMA: Cole River Interview

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Question #1 Already 10 fights in GAMMA Cole, you must already be feeling like a veteran after joining the org at a young age?

Yes I feel like one of the old guys around here even though I am only 29. I have had some wars with some of the best GAMMA has to offer. But that is why I am here, I want to fight the best. Win, lose, or draw anyone in GAMMA gets in the cage with me they better be ready, because I will be!

Question #2 You have already had an impressive career in GAMMA after already winning and defending the 170lbs title. The win over Renan St Juste must of had an extra something to it after losing to him in your debut?

St Juste has been around GAMMA since 2012, anytime I can get in and compete with a man like him I am happy, but winning and getting back a loss I had before is even better. I will say this, no one at 170 better take him lightly he can still beat any of us if we don't come in with a good game plan.

Question #3 The GAMMA 170lbs division is very deep and you have already been in several battles. You lost a couple of major fights recently, both for the title against Jurmas Uusisto and Russ Rutger. What went wrong in those fights?

Well I think the first thing that went wrong is I got hit. Then I got hit a few more times. Hell was probably kicked some. Taken down and rolled around like a ball. I am not sure but at one point I think I even got touched in my dirty place. Now all kidding aside, those guys are tough. I just hope to work my way back to a rematch with each of them at some point.

Question #4 They both face up against each other soon. Who do you think will win that fight?

Both guys are good. I would have to go with Jurmas as my pick to win, I have fought a lot of tough guys and he is the only one to finish me so far. I will be watching that fight close, it is one I really cant wait for.

Question #5 You recently signed a long term deal with GAMMA keeping you in GAMMA until at least 2014. What was the deciding factor for you to stay?

I like GAMMA, it is a well managed ORG. They keep the fighters busy, and have lots of talent to go against. I know Mentor was taking a beating a couple months ago. I think everyone deserves a second chance and he has always been good to me. So when he offered a new contract I never considered not signing it.
