Author:Joe Lang

Hello everyone!! Welcome to the first ever edition of Sully's PRIDE Fight Predictor! I am your host James mcGuiness, but you can all call me Sully!

As an ex-Island fighter, i want to say i am VERY excited and proud to be part of this season's batch of youngsters as they fight to make a name for themselves in PRIDE KT!

But before we get to the fights, a quick word from our sponsor...

For all your clothing needs on The Island, look no further than North Atlantic. Don't let your fighter's smelly balls drop his morale down to unacceptable levels - Get some North Atlantic shorts and kick some ass.

And training and fighting on The Island is hard and thirsty work. And what better way to quench your thirst than with an icy cold Sully's HB.

Ahhhh, Sully's HB. It's refreshing! Official drink of PRIDE KT! Now available at Sully's Bar and Grill.

But remember to drink responsibly!

Now onto the fights! Now for the first few events we will be seeing a batch of fighters ALL making their debuts. We don't know too many of the fighters now but i assure you by the end of the season we will know most of these kids.

Who will rise to the top? Who will fail? Who will be entertaining? Who will be a silent assassin? It is an exciting time to be a fan and i tell ya, i can't wait!!!

So without further ado, i give you Sully's Fight Predictions!

William Dillinger v Sagat Petchyindee

William Dillinger and Sagat start things off with our first ever fight. All eyes will be on these guys. The Thai fighter will be looking to use his reach advantage against the much smaller Irishman Dillinger. Dillinger made it clear that he was here to FIGHT. I'm not about to argue with him!

Sully's Prediction: My man Dillinger will get inside and wear down Sagat to take the 2nd round TKO.

Victor Szczęsny v Dierk Riese

Szczensy, or "THE ANNIHILATOR" as he is known has not been shy in talking himself into a fight. He has called out pretty much the entire Lightweight division. He will make his debut against Dierk Riese who has had a few people turn down fights with him. It seems almost a waste these two guys are making their debut against each other as i can see this being the start of a potential rivalry that will go beyond this season's Island season.

Sully's Prediction: Szczensy has the reach and height advantage, but i see this will work against him in the later rounds. I see Riese weathering the storm and taking the tired ANNIHILATOR to the limit to win a close decision.

Ryan Angelo v Silvio Asap

Both young 18 year olds making their debut, I don't know much about these two men, but Asap comes from a long line of Asap fighters. Angelo is the much smaller opponent here who can almost drop to Lightweight if he chooses.

Sully's Prediction: Although Silvio comes from a more famous "family" of fighters, I am going to go with the upset here and predict Angelo will be able to use his speed to his advantage and out wrestle and strike Asap to win the Decision victory.

Grubby McFists v Rakharo Soladdo

McFists seems like the more popular fighter here as he goes against fellow Muay Thai fighter Soladdo. Soladdo is the bigger fighter and will look to use that to his advantage.

Sully's Prediction: Soladdo to overpower McFists in the first round.

Sami Bernill v Abidemi Kwame

Bernill's Muay Thai faces boxer Kwame, who is better known as "The Ripper." With a name like that, who am i to argue with him?

Sully's Prediction: Kwame has down played himself in an interview stating he may or may not make it to the top, but i think it is just a ploy to make his opponent underestimate him. Kwame by first round KO.

Andua Rameau Sokoudju v Aaron Doucet

Now to the big boys! Boxer Sokodju faces Muay Thai fighter Doucet. This has the potential to be a highlight reel KO or a sluggish affair.

Sully's Prediction: Doucet with the first round KO.

Bryant Baez v Basil Hastings

The second batch of 18 year olds making their debut as Muay Thai specalist Hastings takes on striker Baez. Look for Hastings to use his size advantage to bully Baez.

Sully's Prediction: Hastings by 2nd round TKO

Sebastian Grey v Soloman Swain

Jamaican striker grey makes his debut against Swain. Grey seems more well rounded on his feet while Swain is making it clear that he is ready to fight anyone. Grey should use his size advantage to wear Swain down.

Sully's Prediction: Swain to tire out the bigger man to win by Decision

Guntoff Winnettusk v Javier Martin

Another fight which will once again pit two smaller men against each other. Both men are well rounded in their striking but i would have to give the advantage to Winnettusk.

Sully's Prediction: Winnettusk to edge out the decision

Kid Galar v Khasar Borjigin

The main event, in what could potentially be the start of a huge rivalry. Two Muay Thai specalists making their debut and they are both as loud and passionate as each other. Make no mistake, whoever wins this fight i can almost guarantee that this rivalry will not end here. Will the Powerhouse get it or will the Mongolian warrior?

Sully's Prediction: Galar to edge out the decision. Just.

And there you have it!! 10 fights, 20 men making their debuts. I don't know much about these fine young gentlemen, but over the next few weeks, months and years we will get to know these guys!

So come on down to Micro Arena on The Island. If you can't make it, then come to Sully's Bar and Grill and watch it in one of our High Def screens while you sink down some of my Home Brew!

The Island is here, and i CANT WAIT!!!
