Lightweight Championship

(Champ) Afa Sila vs. (2.) Will Genia

Afa "Arm Collector" Sila made history in his last fight against Jimmy Belingon when he became 3 time DFC Lightweight Champion. Sila needed just 32 seconds to catch Belingon in triangle and end the fight. Sila's previous era ended in very first title defence against the same guy that he faces now in his first title defence, Will Genia. After losing the belt to Genia, they had rematch but after another 5 round war, all 3 judges gave it once again to Genia, so these guys have been in exact same situation before.

Sila gave pretty rude answer when media asked him about Genia:

"I wish he collapses in the bathtub during his weight cut"

Will Genia is coming from 2 impressive 1st round TKO victories against Sean Juan and Moritsune Musashi. Genia used his devastating knees to finish both of those fights. Sila might be slight favourite in this fight, but its hard to ignore that Genia beat him twice already. Sila is really the guy in here who needs to figure out puzzle of Genia because if Genia can keep doing what he did in their previous fights, this trilogy might end up bad for Sila.

Genia seemed to be pretty confident in pre-fight interview:

"It's real simple and pretty obvious. I am the best fighter in this division. I've already beat this goon two times in a row. His last two wins came against guys with limited ground experience. He wont be finishing me by submission and hes not finishing me on his feet. He better pray for some terrible judging to pull out a win. Thats not likely to happen seeing how I paid them off. Did I say that out loud?"

Heavyweight

(5.) Seamus Farrelly vs. (8.) Krug Barishkov

Two giants Farrelly and Barishkov will collide in co-main event. "Psycho" Seamus Farrelly is coming from first round TKO victory against Coconut Sprinkles at Destiny 61. Farrelly lost his first fight in DFC against former champion Vincent Mars, but he is looking to get back in title picture by taking out Barishkov. Farrelly is favourite going to this fight and its easy to predict that he is looking to knock out Barishkov, because all his 13 wins have come via KO/TKO.

29-year Bulgarian Krug "The Thug" Barishkov has been unstoppable in DFC so far. Barishkov is 2-0 in DFC. In his debut he knocked out cold Mieszko Skrzetuski and then he repeated that by knocking out Incisor Bicuspid at Destiny 59. The fight versus Farrelly will be big step up in competition, but he definately deserves this fight after those two brutal victories. Barishkov have won all his 9 career wins via KO/TKO just like Farrelly, but it's hard to say if Barishkov chooses to continue that road against Farrelly. It's notable that Barishkov might have stronger BJJ and taking this fight to the ground might be his best chance for upset.
