Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Review By Kim Jong-un "The Screamun Koreaun"

On 31 Jan 2015, Mentor Corleone, (3503) the Owner of the incredible GAMMA (Global Association of MMA) Organization, presented GAMMA#459 Curry v Hong 2. This event located at the LA Memorial Colossuseum  right here in Los Angeles, is proudly sponsored by GREEN!160 based in Las Vegas.  Attendance of 93,185 fight fans was impressive and the additional Pay-Per-View of 236,337 brings the total to 329,522 fans who saw this event.  This event hosted TWO Title fights, one at 265 pounds between  Jt Colossus and Lan Mandragoran; and the other at 185 pounds between Arthur Curry and Kris Hong.  We had 4 knockouts, with 4 decisions and 2 submissions and a buttload of excitement !      Kim Jong-un, "The Screamun Koreaun" here to walk you through the "Human Violence".   Specific details can be found at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=821649

Our first fight review is in the 155 pound division between Sick Puppy (143320) and  "The Raging Jew" Larry David (126442) ending in a triangle submission.

Sick Puppy had a record of 20-16-1.  Puppy is a ground fighter and 7 of his 21 wins come by submission.

Larry David has a record of 23-16-0.  David is an elite standup fighter and almost half of his wins come by knockout.  So lets see what happened when the ground world collided with the standing world....

The fight... Puppy gets a takedown and starts working for a submission just as you would expect, but David got full mount just as the 1st round ended.  2nd round Puppy goes straight for the takedown and gets it.  Puppy throwing some GnP and David gets full guard. David sweeps for a reversal and Puppy slips in a triangle and its over!    WAA?

Results:   After 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sick Puppy!

Our next fight review is in the 170 pound division between Dirk Pitt (104030) and  Oberyn "The Model" Martell (156085) resulting in a TKO by knee strikes.

Oberyn Martell had a record of 19-14-0.  Martell is a sensational Muay Thai fighter and 15 of his 19 wins are by knockout.

Dirk Pitt had a record of 24-19-0.  Pitt is a well rounded elite fighter and half of his wins are by knockout but he has also been knocked out 16 times....Oh thats a lot....and Martell is a knock-em out kinda guy...Lets see what happened...

The fight... Well, round 1 started out all Martell for the 1st minute then he elbowed Pitt and cut him.  That woke Pitt up and he started fighting back, but Martell was thumping him good making Pitt stumble backwards and hitting him hard enought to snap his head backwards. However, by the end of the round the roles were reversed and Pitt was administering a nasty beatdown on Martell in revenge and probably took that round.  Round 2, was a close round but Pitt got in a crotch kick so that might have decided the round in his favor LOL.  Round 3, Pitt proceeds to beat the dogsnot out of Martell for 3 minutes and then Martell throws a hook to the side of Pitts head and rocks him.  Martell then lands a couple more strikes and then drops Pitt with 2 nasty knee strikes, and the referee jumps in to save Pitt.  Now that was one HELLOFA fight! I just love it when someone is getting his butt stomped and then clobbers his opponent.... Thats a double  WAAAHAAAA  WAAAHAAAA !!!! O yea....

Results:    After 3:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oberyn Martell!

Next we have a preliminary fight in the 265+ pound division between "Хуй " Titus Overeem (168918) and "Lucky" Salvatore Lucania (178877) resolved with a TKO caused by cut.

Salvatore Lucania had a record of 16-9-1.  He is a sensational Muay Thai fighter with a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has 10 knockouts and 5 submissions to his record.  Looks like a bad dude to mess with...he can do you ugly standing OR on the ground...

Titus Overeem had a record of  18-11-0.  He is a sensational standup fighter with 18 of his 18 wins coming by knockout...but he has been knocked out 11 times and has NEVER gone the distance!  Now this could be a VERY interesting fight...lets see if Overeem hears what a final bell sounds like...LOL

The fight...  Overeem starts things off by landing 2 strikes and cutting Lucania.  Then for the next minute Overeem proceeds to beat the crap out of Lucania.  But Lucania clinched up and then proceeded to return the beating with a passion and with an uppercut he cuts Overeem!  Lucania then shows us how its done and just beats on Overeem like he's a red-headed stepchild. Then in the 3rd minute of the round Lucania lands an uppercut and opens up Overeems cut even worse and the Doctor looks at it and fight over!  Well it didnt last long but it was a great fight!   ANOTHER fight were some poor sap is getting a beatdown and turns the table...double WAAAHAAAA  WAAAHAAAA !!!! Wow this has been a great event and we aint even to the Main card fights yet!

Results:    After 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Salvatore Lucania!

Next on the fight card is a preliminary fight in the 170 pound division between "The Force of Nature" Sami Sykloni (151785) and David "The Mink" Charles (150927) ending with an unanimous decision.

David Charles had a record of 12-8-0.  Charles is a sensational wrestler and over half of his wins are by knockout.  However with only 21 fights he has been knocked out 6 times...so he might have a bit of a plastic chin...

Sami Sykloni had a record of 25-13-0.  Sykloni is an elite wrestler and may have Charles outclassed in the standup skills. he also has almost double the fights so he has the experience advantage as well.  So who wants to make a bet?

The fight... 1st round mostly a ground war with no striking.  2nd round also a ground war without striking, mostly a control game so far. 3rd round not as boring as the 1st and 2nd because Sykloni actually landed 6 or 7 strikes and won the fight pretty much on that.   YAWN.

Results:   All 3 judges see the fight the same at 29:28  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Sami Sykloni!

This next fight review is in the 185 pound division between Hektor Troy (160259) and "The American Dragon" Daniel Bryan (186970) resolved by TKO from strikes.

Hektor Troy had a record of 28-16-0.  Troy is a well-rounded sensational fighter with 16 of his 29 wins coming by knockout.

Daniel Bryan had a record of 16-13-0.  Bryan holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has 4 submissions along with 9 knockouts.  Bryan has also been knocked out 7 times, so he best get Troy on the ground seems to me...

The fight...  A positioning war here as Bryan clinches and Troy pulls guard.  Referee ends up standing them up two times and in the last minute they manage to cut each other with the ONLY 2 standing strikes thrown...amazing! Good thing they aint striking at each other all round or we would have hamburger here....  Thankfully round 2 saw some strikes thrown and most of them were from Troy and good percentage were landing. Round 3, saw Troy get his tiger blood pumping and he was really attacking in a serious way.  About the halfway point of the round he rocked Bryan and then snapped his head back with a jab and then he caught Bryan with a big overhand right and put him down! Troy pounced on Bryan and threw some serious damage and the referee stopped the fight.  WAAHAAAA !!!

Results:    After 2:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hektor Troy!

The next fight review is in the 185 pound division between Sepp "Sub" Maier (86796) and Craig Rave (78157) ending with a submission by guillotine.

Sepp Maier had a record of 43-33-1.  Maier holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has an INCREDIBLE 35 submissions in his 43 wins, however he has been knocked out 14 times.

Craig Rave had a record of 31-22-0.  Rave holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has 11 submissions in his 31 win record.

The fight... This fight was an amazing feat of concentration and focus on a specific strategy.  The winner, Sepp Maier  didnt throw a SINGLE STRIKE. Not one. And thats pretty much the story here.  Maier knew what he wanted, he went and got it, and went home.   WAAAHA !

Results:    After 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sepp Maier!  Maier earned "Sub of the night".

This next fight review is a Main Card bout between Eric Cartman (142643) and Marcus Fenix (186326) resolved by a unanimous decision.

Eric Cartman had a record of 22-14-0.  Cartman is a sensational boxer/wrestler and 16 of his 22 wins come by knockout.  Cartman has been knocked out 9 times.

Marcus Fenix had a record of 25-17-0.  Fenix is also a sensational boxer/wrestler AND holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Fenix has 9 knockouts and 7 submissions to brag about but he also carries the bag on being knocked out 10 times.   So it seems to me this fight is wide open and anything could happen.

The fight... Fenix striking and sometimes landing and Cartman wanting to clinch but not doing much when in the clinch.  Almost like Cartman is afraid of Fenix and dont want to get him upset by smacking him... and after the nasty uppercut Fenix bounced Cartman off the cage within the 2nd minute, I can understand.  Round 2 was an interesting round. Fenix started out landing 5 strikes in a row and then Cartman slowed that down with a clinch and from then on it was all Cartman who was beating the dogsnot out of Fenix in and out of the clinch. WAAHAAA !!  Final round was mostly on the ground but seemed not much different than a sparring match. Coulda got a beer and a dog....

Results:    All 3 judges score the fight the same at 28:29,  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marcus Fenix!

Our next bout on the Main card is a fight in the 205 pound arena between Ender Wiggin (80914) and James "Jimmy" Holmes (151992) resulting in a unanimous decision.

Ender Wiggin had a record of 30-18-0.  Wiggin is a well rounded sensational fighter with 23 of his 30 wins coming by knockout, but with 16 knockouts in his loss column he is far from being superman.

James Holmes had a record of 21-13-0.  Holmes is also well rounded sensational fighter with half of his wins coming by knockout including 3 submissions.  Holmes also has a lot of losses...but very few are from knockout.  This appears to be a reasonable well-matched fight...lets see how it turned out...

The fight... Round 1, has both men cut and a good number of strikes landed...more from Wiggins who likely took that round.  Round 2, saw Wiggin turn up the heat and just beat the living shit out of Holmes, and opened up his cut so bad it was causing him problems.  I think I counted 36 unanswered strikes landed. and Im sure thats gotta be a record. I never seen anything like it.  Final round,  Holmes straight to the clinch...where he got his ass handed to him last round....smart move Holmes, considering Wiggins landed 92 strikes in the clinch...yeah thats right where u should go, into the clinch just as fast as you can get there...someone get this guy a free IQ test eh?  To be fair, this actually was Holmes best round though...mostly because Wiggins stopped throwing strikes and just coasted to the victory.  This was a fun fight to watch...but not a "good" fight for sure.

Results:   The 3 judges see the fight slightly differently at 30:27/29:28/30:27  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ender Wiggin!

The Co-Main event was a TITLE fight in the 265 pound division between Lan "Aanallein" Mandragoran (169650) and "The WarWagon" Jt Colossus (1688) ending with a TKO by strikes.

The Champion, Lan Mandragoran, had a record of 27-12-0.  Mandragoran is an elite standup fighter with 24 of his 27 wins coming by knockout.  This will be Mandragoran's 1st defense of the belt since he took it from Fat Gorrila (204973) on 17 January 2015.

The Challenger, Jt Colossus, had a record of 45-32-1.  Colossus is an elite boxer and has 34 of his 45 wins coming by knockout.  Interesting to note he also has 6 submissions in the win column and has been knocked out 23 times!   Thats a LOT of times to wake up staring at the bright lights...

The fight... Both men start out missing everything thrown and the rest of the fight it seemed like there was an unusual amount of missing strikes...but after a minute or so they started to connect a few here and there.  And it was a reasonably close fight until suddenly Colossus scores with a nice uppercut and rocks Mandragoran.  Followed by a body shot and a big right hand that wobbles Mandragoran!  Colossus unloads with more strikes and pounds Mandragoran to his knees!  Its all over!  WAAHAAAAA !! Thats was beautiful!  WAAHAAAA !!!

Results:    After 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jt Colossus!  Jt Colossus is the new heavyweight champion!  Colossus earned "KO of the night"

The MAIN event was a TITLE fight in the 185 pound division between  "King of the Seven Seas" Arthur Curry (92326) and  Kris Hong (204017) ending with a unanimous decision.

The Champion, Arthur Curry has a record of 45-18-0.  Curry is an elite standup fighter with 33 of his 45 wins coming by knockout.  Add to that the issue of having NEVER been knocked out in 73 fights and your talking about a man to NOT be messin with...

The Challenger,  Kris Hong has a record of 15-3-2.  Hong is an elite boxer with 87% of his wins coming by knockout and has only been knocked out himself one time. So we should be seeing some serious power strikes all night with this two....You think? Lets find out!

The fight... Pretty typical 1st round.  Both fighters testing the wind, and trying different strikes, looking for holes in the D.  Curry did a lot of kicking and managed to chop Hong to the floor once.  Surprisingly there were no clinches or takedowns attempted.  Round 2, Curry on the attack and is landing strike after strike when suddenly he is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots and the referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight. WOW where did that turn-around come from?  After that brief moment of glory Hong threw a few strikes but mostly it was Curry whuppin that butt and at the end of the round Hong had visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks.  Round 3, Curry continues to attack and Hong is fighting back, but Curry is dominating and gets Hong's nose bleeding with a nice jab.  Most of that round was Curry's and Hong rallied nicely at the last minute, but not enough to steal a round.  Round 4, This was the kicking round for both fighters.  Hong kicked Curry hard enough to make him stumble so next thing you know, SUDDENLY Hong is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots and the referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight WOW where did that come from?   But Hong is a scrapper and next thing you know Curry is chopped to the floor with a kick from Hong.  Curry gets up and lands a few shots so Hong crotch kicks him.  They are really mixing it up and Hong stumbles and almost goes down from a right hand delivered by Curry express.   The 4th round ends with Curry kicking the hell out of Hong.  Final round,  Hong was really coming on and probably landed more strikes, but Curry had a nice little kicking spree in the last 2 minutes that looked pretty good.

Results:    All 3 judges see the fight the same at 49:46  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Arthur Curry!  Arthur Curry retains his middleweight title!  This fight earned "Fight of the night"
