Review By Kim Jong-un "The Screamun Koreaun"
On 31 Jan 2015, Mentor Corleone (3503) the Owner of the incredible GAMMA (Global Association of MMA) Organization, presented GAMMA#460 Custer v Trudeau 2. This event, located at the Wombley Arena right here in London, is proudly sponsored by GREEN!160 based in Las Vegas.  Attendance of 92,928 boisterous fight fans was impressive and the additional 222,153 Pay-Per-Viewers  brings the total to 315,111 fans who saw this event.  This event hosted TWO Title fights, one at 170 pounds between Marshall Noir and Jurmas Uusisto; and the other at 205 pounds between Jesse Custer and Pierre Trudeau.  This awesome event had 1 knockout, with 7 decisions and 1 submission and a "majority draw along with truckload of fun!  We even had a streaker with a dozen security after him!   The events sponsor is the well known GREEN!160 nutrition store, based in Las Vegas.     Kim Jong-un, "The Screamun Koreaun" here to walk you through the "brutal assualts".   Details can be found at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=821647

First we have a preliminary fight in the 145 pound division between Sooper Mann and John Bonham  resulting in a TKO by strikes.

Sooper "Dooper" Mann (190661) has a record of 10-4-0.  Mann is an exceptional Muay Thai/wrestler with half of his wins coming by knockout.

John Bonham (145462) has a record of 17-8-1.  Bonham is a well rounded fighter often goes the distance in his fights so stamina should not be an issue for him.  Wring your hands, but fret not the story is here....

The fight...   Well the story was all Bonham. End of story.  Whats that? ...u want a better story than that? OK it was all Bonham who was slow to start but picked up the pace quickly and in the 3rd minute he TOLD Mann he was "Gonna knock you out" and then threw an uppercut that rocked Mann and followed up with an attack that made the referee jump in and stop the fight.   Better?   OK FINE...you drama-queen.....

Results:   After 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Bonham!  Jon was awarded "KO of the night".

Next we have a preliminary fight in the 185 pound division between Muraki Tunamoto (136616) and Nigel "The Spoon" McHughes (154144) resulting in an Arm Triangle submission.

Nigel McHughes  has a record of 17-11-1.  McHughes is an exceptional boxer/wrestler and 12 of his 17 wins come by knockout. Perhaps even more interesting is that in 29 fights he has never been knocked out.

Muraki Tunamoto (136616) has a record of 24-21-0.  Tunamoto is a Elite Muay Thai fighter and has 20 of his 24 wins coming by knockout.  Hmmmm however, he has been knocked out 10 times...so lets go see what happened...

The fight...   Tunamoto landed 31 strikes and McHughes landed 13 strikes, but McHughes had a different strategy then to stand and bang with a banger and when it was the right time he slapped in an arm triangle and within seconds the fight was over.  That was VERY unexpected.  WAA HAAAAA !!!!

Results:   After 1:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Nigel McHughes!  Nigel was awarded "Sub of the night".

Next we have a preliminary fight in the 265+ pound division between Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) and Alfred "Graniten" Hammarskjold (121846) ending with a unanimous decision.

Alfred Hammarskjold has a record of 28-16-0.  Hammarskjold is an elite ground fighter with 22 of his 28 wins coming by knockout.  However he has been knocked out 14 times and out of 44 fights has gone the distance only 8 times.

Gunnar Steigelmann has a record of 14-10-0.  Steigelmann is an elite standup fighter and has 11 of his 14 wins coming by knockout. Steigelmann has been knocked out 5 of his 10 losses...so I'm smelling a knockout there...Lets go see....

The fight...   Interesting 1st round. the 1st minute and the last minute Steigelmann was doing it all and it was all working, and he even managed to cut Hammarskjold.  In fact the last minute Steigelmann was T'ing off and landed a DOZEN strikes IN A ROW to end the round. He should be nicknamed "Sniper"with accuracy like that!  The 2nd round didnt go much better for Hammarskjold whose cut got worse.  And the 3rd round was a horrible beatdown even worse than the 1st round.  Its not surprising the judges gave Steigelmann two 10-8 rounds.  But...there was no knockout which I guess Hammarskjold could count as a small victory...

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same and i agree with 30:25  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gunnar Steigelmann!

Next we have a preliminary fight in the 155 pound division between Leslie Harp (162516) and "Lightning Kid" Atlas Kivi (134572) ending with a unanimous decision.

Atlas Kivi has a record of 24-16-2.  Kivi is an elite ground fighter and can submit, knockout or go the distance.  In fact just over half his fights HAVE gone the distance.

Leslie Harp has a record of 13-7-0.  Harp is an elite wrestler with 8 of his 13 wins coming by way of knockout.  Harp has less than half the experience of his opponent so lets see what happened.

The fight...   The first round was all Kivi who stayed busy and landed a lot of strikes pretty much unanswered.  2nd round was all Kivi and he rocks Harp with a brutal kick to the temple. Kivi ended the round with about 10 unanswered strikes.  Final round has Kiwi with a takedown and the beatdown just continued on a lower level. Then Kiwi changed up and tried multiple submission attempts but the referee eventually stood them up shortly before the end of the fight.

Results:    All 3 judges see the fight the same 27:30 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Atlas Kivi!

Next we have a preliminary fight in the 145 pound division between Hector "Bullshit Detector" Barbosa (168682) and Meat Beater (174503) ending with a unanimous decision.

Meat Beater has a record of 21-12-1.  Beater is a sensational fighter who has gone the distance in 24 of his 34 fights.

Hector Barbosa has a record of 23-7-1.   Barbosa also has a habit of going the distance with 22 of his 31 fights hearing the final bell.

The fight... This was an excercise in missing strikes...errrr I mean an excercise in defense! Yeah thats what I meant....I think the judges picked the right fighter as winner because...well he had the best defense!   YAWN....oops sori!

Results:   All 3 judges see the fight the same at 28:29 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Meat Beater!

Our next review is a preliminary fight in the 205 pound division between "Riiviö" Pyry Perkele (178394) and Marko Torturo (54639)resulting in a unanimous decision.

Marko Torturo has a record of 40-19-4.  Torturo is 39 years old and a sensational standup fighter with 63 fights on the books.

Pyry Perkele has a record of 25-13-1.  Perkele is a sensational Muay Thai fighter and has several submissions on his record.

The fight...   Torturo had his moments and landed a fair amount of strikes but it was easily Perkele's round.  The 2nd round was an excellent round and both fighters were hurt and the referee was watching closely when Perkele was against the cage getting a beatdown.  Final round has Torturo landing a crotchshot  and also rocks Perkele with a jab.  Torturo landed 44 strikes to Perkele's 42 so it was a damn close fight, but I think I would have gave it to Torturo.  Oh well thats EXACTLY why you DONT want to leave it in the hands of the judges....

Results:   All 3 judges see the fight the same at 29:28  on favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Pyry Perkele!

Next we have a review of a Main card fight in the 265+ division between Yorick "The Last Man" Brown (178737) and "The Divine Singer" Freddie Mercury (135925) which ended by a unanimous decision.

Freddie Mercury has a record of 26-10-2.  Mercury is an elite Muay Thai fighter and over half his wins have come by knockout.

Yorick Brown has a record of 22-10-0.  Brown is an elite standup fighter and 19 of his 22 wins come by knockout.  However Brown has also been knocked out 8 times....so Im thinking we are about to report a knockout...lets go find out....

The fight...   This was a decent fight even tho Mercury outscored Brown 2 to 1 in striking.  However, Mercury was cut early in the fight and it did get worse....but it didnt match Brown's dreams and cause a stoppage.  Good thing I didn't bet this fight eh?

Results:   All 3 judges see the fight the same, 28:29  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Freddie Mercury!

Our next Main card fight is a bout in the 185 pound divison between Charlie "Darkness" Murphy (152460) and "MASTER OF DISASTER" Zlatan Spazstor (84638) resulting in a unanimous decision.

Zlatan Spazstor has a record of 47-20-1.  Spazstor is a sensational boxer and has 30 knockouts in his 47 win record.  He also has 9 submissions so this is a man to be careful around.  However he has been knocked out 14 times so hes NOT invincible.

Charlie  Murphy has a record of 21-12-0.  Murphy is an elite Muay Thai fighter and just over half of his wins come by knockout, but will he be able to find the sweet spot on Spazstor?  Step around the corner here and we shall see....

The fight...   Both men come out swinging and its not long before Spazstor is cut by a Murphy knee which must of put fear in Spazstor's belly because from that point to the end of the round, Murphy put a thumpin on ol Spaz.... Round 2 Murphy changed from dealing out a thumpin to a downright azz whoopin...with about the only reply from Spazstor being a kick in the crotch.  Round 3, it seems Spazstor had enough of Murphy and first he rocked him, and shortly after that he knocked his butt down with a crisp right hand.  But after he let Murphy stand back up he couldn't land the finishing touch before the bell rang.  In fact it was Murphy slam-dancing on Spazstor at the end of the fight.  This was a great fight to watch and I give it a double  WAAHAAA, WAAHAAA !!!

Results:   The 3 judges see the fight slightly differently with 30:28/30:27/30:28  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Charlie Murphy!

The Co-Main event is a TITLE fight for the belt at 170 pounds between the Champion, Marshall Noir (112792) and the Challenger,  "The Brown Norge" Jurmas Uusisto (138062) resulting in a unanimous decision.

The Champion, Marshall Noir, has a record of 29-13-2.  Noir is an elite ground fighter and has 13 knockouts with 4 submissions and has never been knocked out.

The Challenger, Jurmas Uusisto. has a record of 37-17-1.  Uusisto is an elite ground fighter and in addition to his 15 knockouts he has 9 submissions as well.

The fight...   Kinda strange fight with Uusisto getting a takedown early in round 1 and Noir getting a takedown early in all the other rounds.  From there is was pretty much Uusisto working for a submission and Noir dropping ground and pound for 4 1/2 rounds....but then the excitement skyrocketed when Uusisto took Noir's back and was desperately working the rear naked choke to steal the fight....but failed.

Results:    All 3 judges see the fight the same 49:46   in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marshall Noir!

The MAIN event was a TITLE fight in the 205 pound division between  "Preacher" Jesse Custer (183716)  and "The Purple Stripe" Pierre Trudeau (113658) ending with a ..............................

The Champion, Jesse Custer has a record of 26-5-0.  Custer is an elite ground fighter with over half his wins coming by knockout.

The Challenger,  Pierre Trudeau has a record of 30-13-1.  Trudeau ALSO is an elite ground fighter and has a whopping 23 of his 30 wins due to knockout. So will the standup fighter take the ground warrior out tonight?  Lets go look....

The fight...  Custer starts out with a right hand that stumbles Trudeau and Trudue is cut.
Not a good way to start a 5 round fight.  Before he can even wipe away the blood he gets chopped to the floor by a vicious leg kick from Custer.
Trudeau is looking like a PUNK in the 1st minute here...   But if u want the belt you gotta be tough, and Trudeau fights back and is getting in some good strikes when Custer takes him down.
Trudeau reverses him and then has to defend against Custers submission attempts until the ref stands them up in time for the bell. Round 2. Trudeau outstrikes Custer but Custer lands a strike on the cut and opens it up even worse.  Round 3,  They are in the trading game. 2 for you, 1 for me.  1 for you, 2 for me.  Close round but probably went to Trudeau due to a powerful uppercut that bounced Custer off the cage.  Round 4, Custer returns the uppercut and bounces Trudeau off the cage and they are exchanging shots which opens the cut on Trudeau again. As they continue the trading of strikes, the cut is starting to cause Trudeau problems, but he rallies and drops Custer to 1 knee with a right hook.  Custer recovers and they mix it up to the bell.  Final round, and they are still trading strikes. Early in the round, Trudeau was chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick  and later the referee is watching Custer closely as Trudeau had him against the cage and was slamming shots in there. But they both fought to the last second and it was one HELLOFA battle for all 5 rounds.  WAAA HAAAAA ! You know I like the knockouts, and the submissions are kinda cool, but a true battle for 25 minutes with neither man dominant is a seldom seen event.

Results:    The judges see the fight slightly differently with 48:48/47:48/48:48  the fight is ruled a majority draw!  Jesse Custer retains his title.  This awesome fight was awarded "Fight of the night".  And well deserved too.

Well fight fans and affecionadoes, it has been another wonderful event put on by the GAMMA Organization and I would love to sit and chat more...but I got a date with a bottle of Jack (did I say that?)...so I'm outa here!   Kim Jong-un your favorite "Screamun Koreaun" saying "Good nite and WAAAAHAAAA" !!
