 Hoolyy hell what an event!!
Gekido brought it home.
The best event rating, the biggest crowd and the biggest payday for the org
and for the fighters! Not bad, not bad...
In our main event the 205 tournament winner, the hall of famer
and the champion Jonny Sorrow faced his toughest test so far.
The challenger Hugh G Rection was able to take the champ down early when they both were still fresh.
On the ground Rection was in his element and was able to secure a beautiful triangle armbar finish!!
Congrats to our new 205 champ!
Soon after the fight Jonny Sorrow announced his retirement from MMA.
He said he didnt enjoy the grind anymore and thought hed already seen the peak of his career.
Quite suprising turn of events if you as me since the guy is still young but hell, I guess he knows best?
