GAMMA#469 Malone v Bateman Review

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Review Rabid Alien (102643)

On 21 March, 2015, Mentor Corleone (3503) the owner of the original GAMMA (Global Association of MMA) Organization, presented GAMMA#469 Malone v Bateman event for the viewing pleasure of MMA fans around the globe. This event, located at the LA Memorial Colossuseum here in Los Angeles, is proudly sponsored by GREEN!160 based in Las Vegas. This event hosted two Title fights. At 265 pounds we had a title fight between Patrick Bateman and Tio Malone; and at 170 pounds we had a title fight between Marshall Noir and Kris Hong. This action-packed event had 10 fights resulting in 2 knockouts and 7 decisions and 1 majority draw. So it was a LONG night at the Colossuseum with so many fights going the distance, but the beer sales set records I am told. All the tendon-twisting, nose-breaking details can be found at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=824847

145 lbs division fight between Mike "Big Pimpin" Henderson (147392) and Hector "Bullshit Detector" Barbosa (168682)

Action. and...action...and more action. This fight was a "no-blinker" cause if u blinked u would miss something...these 2 warriors really went at it. BOTH men with every kind of punch and every kind of kick during the standup war. Barbosa was clinching and both men after the takedowns, but it was mostly Henderson's game on the ground.

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 27:30 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mike Henderson!

170 lbs division fight between Oberyn "The Model" Martell (156085)and Genghis "The Mongoloid" Khan (198249)

Musta been action night here or maybe some heavy caffeine in the Colossuseum coffee because this fight would of made the energizer bunny jeolous. It was a badass war in the clinch and quite nasty in the standing. But Martell landed more in the standing and defended well in the ground fight so...

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 27:30 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Oberyn Martell!

185 lbs division fight between Hektor Troy (160259) and Lenny Astro (170070)

This was a standup fight and it was all about quantity and accuracy. Astro threw 33 strikes and landed 10 for a strike percentage of 30%. Troy threw 107 strikes and landed 55 for a strike percentage of 51%. And that says alot about why...

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 30:27 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Hektor Troy!

185 lbs division fight between Luivel Romero (155107) and Atte "Teufel" Peltola (177978)

Straight away Romero lands a hook and cuts Peltola. Strange fight to call I found, since they spent so much time on the ground busy as hell improving position and not much else. In addition to that, both fighters had very little clinch work effort. But the standing showed Romero with twice as many strikes landed as Peltola who was apparently too busy with the takedowns.

Results: The judges see the fight somewhat differently and post scorecards showing 29:29/30:28/29:29 for a majority draw!

265+ lbs division fight between Marcus Fenix (186326) and Yorick "The Last Man" Brown (178737)

Fenix dominated the standup and the ground fight, with neither man racking up much credit in the clinch war. But seems they both had a cup of the Colossuseum coffee as well because they were both very active with punches and kicks. Somehow though...this dont seem a fight I will remember for very long....

Results: The 3 judges see the fight slightly differently at 27:30/27:30/28:29 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marcus Fenix!

155 lbs division fight between Will Genia (215703) and Yngve Ingvar (140275)

Both men come out and start a kicking war. Then Genia gets busy clinching and breaking clinch and kicking like a mule with itchy balls until Ingvar counters with a quick right hand and rocks him. Ingvar quickly follows up with a big uppercut and Genia crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Genia looks OK. Ingvar waves Genia back to his feet! But Genia shows his heart and toughs it out to the end of the round and actually manages to win this fight ! WAAAHAAAA !!! I really love it when a fighter looks to be finished and comes back to win.

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 28:29 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Will Genia!

145 lbs division fight between Yuri Boyka (34136) and Meat Beater (174503)

Boyka lands first and Beater throws a combination and cuts Boyka. Other than that it was a good fight and quite close with Beater landing 44 strikes and Boyka landing 48 strikes. There was no ground work or clinching either, they just stood there and duked it out.

Results: The judges see the fight differently at 30:27/28:29/28:29 in favor of your winner, by split decision... Yuri Boyka!

265+ lbs division fight between Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) and "The Divine Singer" Freddie Mercury (135925)

Steigelmann comes out kicking and lands a jab that cuts Mercury. Steigelmann taunts Mercury telling him "You're gunna get knocked out" and then knocks Mercury to the mat with a vicious uppercut. Steigelmann jumps on Mercury like a cat on a mouse and is just hammering him until the referee jumps in to stop the beatdown.

Results: After 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunnar Steigelmann!

The Co-Main event was a TITLE fight at 170 pounds between Marshall Noir (112792) and Kris Hong (204017)

Noir straight to a takedown and a submission attempt. Hong defending well against the ground and pound and gets a reversal, but didnt impress the referee who stands them up. Noir again with a takedown but Hong is defending well and advances position and denies Noir anything to impress the referee, who stands them up again. Noir seems to have a disagreement with the referee on where the fight will occur and goes straight for the takedown again just in time for the bell. Round 2, Noir lands an uppercut and Hong crotch-kicks him for it. Takes Noir a minute to get around to another takedown try, but sure enough he gets a takedown and starts trying submissions again. Round 3, SURPRISE ! Noir straight to the takedown but Hong reverses him and rides his new pony until the referee stands them up. But predictable as the tide, Noir insists on a ground fight and takes Hong down again and tries to submit him. Round 4, Noir must be getting tired and it took him almost 2 minutes to get a takedown and Hong getting good practice at reversing him, does it again. Round 5, again it takes a couple minutes until Noir can manage the takedown. He is working hard to finish the fight and is landing some nasty ground and pound and Hong has his hands over his head blocking the strikes. Noir is mixing in submission attempts as well, but the fight ends.

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 48:47 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marshall Noir! Marshall Noir retains his welterweight title!

The Main event was a TITLE fight at 265 pounds between "American Psycho" Patrick Bateman (180187) and Tio Malone (182171)

Bateman lands a headkick and cuts Malone and they are trading strikes and its a good fight when suddenly Bateman drops Malone with a right hand. Bateman pounces on top and starts slam-dancing Malones head until the refereee jumps in. WAAHAAAA !!

Results: After 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Patrick Bateman!Patrick Bateman is the new heavyweight champion!

So this event is done and gone and so am I. This is Kim Jong-un, your favorite "Screamun Koreaun" leaving you forever. I must return to my Nuclear arms business as ISIS has ordered an (undisclosed) amount of nukes and I have alot of work to do.
