Welcome to Wednesday Night Fights 2 Preview. The event will be taken on 10 June 2015 and the main event is Light Heavyweight Championship title between Dieter Von Sprockets against Hughtavious Mingo. Let’s get in on the fight cards!

Main Event: 205+ lbs fight for Light Heavyweight Championship

Dieter Von Sprockets (11-3-0)  vs Hughtavious Mingo (11-3-0)

They come from The Island but never fought each other when were there. Sprockets had ever challenged title championship once when at The Island and that was his 1st lost. He won Light Heavyweight belt after defeated Skunk Asap by Arm Triangle on 8 April 2015 and retained his title a month later when Skunk wanted to reclaim it.

Meanwhile Mingo never had the chance to challenge any championship title but he had knocked Jimmie Craig out, a former WCC Light Heavyweight Champion of The Island in the 1st round on 20 May 2015.

Sprockets has advantage only from his Muay Thai while Mingo leads others 3.

Sprockets won 8 times by submissions, but I don’t think it will work well to Mingo.

Mingo won 9 times by (T)KOs, but if he chooses to keep stand up Sprockets will kick him.

If Mingo thinks he can win from ground fight, Sprockets will surprise him. Don’t forget, Sprockets had submitted Skunk Asap twice.

Co-Main Event: 145+ lbs

Mamad Mouba (13-4-0) vs Paul Teixera (5-0-0)

Mouba came from The Island. He won Featherweight Championship there against Big Dawg and retained his title 3 times. He threw the belt to the sea when moving out from The Island then challenged Derrick Jon for the title. He won the belt but then lost it to Ali Roumani.

Teixera never challenged any title but had beaten a former champion, Dominic Domain by KO.

Teixera only leads with BJJ, while other 3 dominated by Mouba.

Although younger, Mouba more experienced than Teixera. 6 KOs and 7 wins by decisions means he has very good power and conditioning. Meanwhile Teixera has 1 KO and 3 subs which means besides good as ground fighter, he has power too.

Although his best skill is wrestling, I don’t see he ever tried to takedown his opponent.

#3: 265+ lbs

Drew Carvalho (6-0-0) vs Capital Punishment (4-4-0)

Carvalho was a CPGQ Heavyweight champion based in Amsterdam, but after the company closed, he moved to New York and joined WCC. He has remarkable wrestling but he won 5 times by TKO from stand up. While Punishment always use his Muay Thai and has good defend for ground fight. I think Carvalho will win.

#4 265+ lbs

Smokey Simpson (4-2-0) vs Rick Rude (4-2-0)

They have similar statistics, all wins and losses by KO. I guess they will still fight on feet as I don’t see they ever done on ground. A very interesting fight and hard to predict the winner.

#5: 145 lbs

Ville Ahokas (6-2-0) vs Kirk Lancaster (5-3-0)

Ahokas has KO power but can cut easily and he prefers to stand up fight. While Lancaster tends to fight on ground. I think Ahokas will win if he can keep on his feet.

#6: 185+ lbs

Pavel Datysuk (2-1-0) vs Cain Jones (2-0-0)

Datysuk always won by sub, but I think  Jones will win if he can keep stand up fight.

#7: 185+ lbs

Phil Taylor (1-0-0) vs Pier Dolly (3-0-0)

Taylor won his 1st fight by TKO after landed some high kicks to Jesus Muchello. While Dolly always won by decision and tends to play ground fight because he has advantages on it.

#8: 135+ lbs

Nigel Benn Jnr (3-0-0) vs Timmy Two Tone (6-3-0)

Benn Jnr won all his fight by decisions. He won’t hesitate to takedown straight or from clinch. Meanwhile Two Tone won 5 by KO. He has dangerous knees and I think will win if he can keep on feet.

#9: 145+ lbs

Conor Brazier (1-2-0) vs Yoshi Twister (3-2-0)

Brazier will win stand up fight. But if the fight on ground I think they will have same chances.

#10: 185+ lbs

Ari Wilenius (3-1-0) vs Jesus Muchello (0-1-0)

Muchello has advantages on stand up and ground. He will win if uses proper tactics.
