And here we are again at the wondrous Micro Arena! Hey, where are you friends? and you family? hmmm? Where? Nowhere! And that's because you're in the island, Isolated! Boohoo, just fight, you crybabies...
#1 Brian Toilfer v Harold Bee
Toilfer started out his island campaign with 3 straight losses, and he has not been sacked yet, fantastic. He's a boxer who débuts at the Leftovers against Harold Bee who has 4 straight losses!. Who will be the greatest loser of all? Toilfer is 7 years more experienced so I think he might just win.
#2 Pavel Bosnick v Benny Lawlor
Pavel is a very young Bosnian with no real talents and after losing his first fight he has a new manager, maybe that will help. Benny is a boxer from Ireland with a modest 1-1 record. If the ground is not part of the Polish's plans, Benny will win by KO.
#3 Richard Rockhard v Markus Wyzewski
Richard managed a beautiful submission of the night on his last fight. His gameplan is clear and his opponent knows it. If the fight goes too long to the ground, he might just triangle his opponent again. Markus also has a submission win but if he's to grapple with Rockhard, I fear his blue belt will not be enough. Stay on your feet and go for the KO!
#4 Cormac Heese v Temoodschin Khan
Cormac is a BJJ brown belt with some wrestling and you know where he wants the fight to go so don't bother asking. Khan is a Purple belt with decent muay thai so he does have a choice on where he can fight. This might come down to whoever can pull a submission off the quickest.
#5 Hanson Recall v Michael Alexander
Hanson started his Leftovers career with an impressive KO victory that earned him KO of the Night. On the other side stands a wrestler who is still undefeated at 1-0. Michael's skillset seems perfect to turn him into Hanson's punching bag, and that's what I expect to see happen. Hanson by KO again.
#6 Hugo Oliveira v Carl Park
Oliveira is a boxer who managed to win his 1st Leftovers fight with lots of ground and pound. A strange approach for a boxer but if it works, who's complaining? Carl also won his debut fight here but he got a kimura. This means it might be a bad idea for Hugo to go for the takedown. If he does, I think Park gets his 2nd sub in a row.
#7 CO-MAIN EVENT Mark Munoz v Hudson Oliveira
Mark Munoz, not the real one, lost his debut by decision. His general skillset left him without any real weapons previously so he'll be dependant on a bad gameplan from his opponent to win his 1st. His opponent is the wrestler who got submitted by Rockhard so if Mark also has some submission skills, Oliveira will be in trouble. Mark will take the win, I think, maybe...
#8 MAIN EVENT Fotis Klaniaris v Paul Walker
Fotis is a recent signee who took this fight on very short notice. He hails from Greece and is a competent boxer with a blue belt in BJJ. What will he do? I have no idea since this is his professional debut. Paul Walker has a loss to the current title contender Achillies and he clearly favours a fight on the ground, or at least he should since he a BJJ Purple belt. Walker has a good chin but will that be enough to prevent the KO? If so, I think he'll get it to the ground and win.
