The Islands #1 KT fighter

Fighter profile of King Wong by Dale Saw

King Wong stepped onto the Island with one goal in mind; smash all those who oppose him. Being a KT fighter there was only one option for King Wong on The Island, Pride KT. So without delay King Wong's manager Dale Saw immediately contacted Ryne Woodsmall, owner of Pride KT, in hopes of getting Wong signed. Saw and Woodsmall worked out the details and the contract was signed.

It it wasn't too long before Wong had his first fight booked against Joel Vega on Pride Duces, Pride KT's second event. Wong's debut went very well for him. He took Vega into the clinch within 30 of the fight, held him there for about a minute landing a few shots when he decided to break from the clinch and knocked Vega down with a high kick before landing another big head kick ending the fight at 2:16 of round one.

After a quick turn around Wong accepted a fight against "Woody" Wood Pecker on the very next card, Price Thrice. The two fought for twenty long hard fought minutes. Wong knew his only chance against Pecker was in the clinch. And, so he put him in the clinch in the beginning of the fight and held on til the end of the round then did the same in round two, landing 59 punches to the head and 12 to the body while in the clinch locking up the decision.

Wong was very pleased by this victory that he took a week off to celebrate. But after that week he was scheduled to fight the #2 LHW KT fighter on the Island Thomas Anderson, Wong was at that time the #1 LHW fighter and the #2 KT fighter on the Island.

Prive Five, Anderson Vs. Wong. The fight was a beautiful one. Wong showed impressive striking defense only allowing 4 shots to land out of 20 thrown. And Wong landed 31 of a total 35 shots. But Anderson ruminated the clinch landing 12 of 13 head punches and 6 of 22 body punches. Although, Wong was not content to let Anderson score in the clinch and didn't let him keep him there. Anderson was successful on only 12 of his 52 attempts to clinch up. Wong was able to both clinch up and break the clinch seemingly at will. Wong ended up scoring a KO at 6:30 of round two making him the #1 KT fighter on all of the Island.

Wong has accepted his next fight against  a newer fighter to the Island. Osama Suzuki will be welcomed to the Island in style at Pride Seven. Being the #1 KT fighter means that everyone is gunning for him and he will be knocking them down as fast as they rise.
