GAMMA#479 Bateman v Gorilla Review

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

On 2 May, 2015, the original GAMMA (Global Association of MMA) Organization, managed by the prosperous Mentor Corleone (3503), presented the GAMMA#479 Bateman v Gorilla event, for the viewing pleasure of MMA fans around the globe. This event, located at Wombley Arena in London, is proudly sponsored by GREEN!160 based in Las Vegas.

This action-packed event had 10 fights resulting in 5 knockouts, and 5 decisions and hosted one Title fight at 265 pounds between Patrick Bateman and Fat Gorrila for the Heavyweight Championship. Rabid Alien here to walk you through the toe-twisting, eye-ball gouging details can be found at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=828834

155 lbs fight between Augustus "The Last Prince" Belvedere IV (123199) and Graeme Symons (185305)

Symons was the superior ground fighter so it didn't surprise me he was interested to take it to the ground (10 attempts) and he did reasonably well with his GnP landing 4 of his 8 strikes when he managed to get it to the ground (2 times). What DID surprise me was, he landed more head and body punches than Belvedere, AND he rocked Beledere late in the 2nd round, but...he had no combinations or kicks to mix it up with which allowed his predictability to be better defended against and...when it went to the scorecards....

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 30:27 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Augustus Belvedere IV!

205 lbs fight between "Riiviƶ" Pyry Perkele (178394) and Alfonso Lopez (163648)

Interesting matchup with Perkele having a slight advantage in Muay Thai, and Lopez a slight advantage in wrestling. So of course u would expect Lopez to be wanting to get a takedown and some GnP action...and he did get a takedown (1 out of 4 tries) and some GnP as well (1 strike landed out of 4 thrown). But the Muay Thai advantage of Perkele was likely used to the best and carried the decision for the win. Perkele literally kicked the shit out of Lopez and landed more leg kicks alone than all of Lopez strikes total.

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same at 27:30 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Pyry Perkele!

265+ lbs fight between Julien "The French Psychopath" Touret (175093) and Franklin Munchack (204686)

Touret lands first strike and cuts Munchack with a left hand, and then knocks him down with an uppercut. Munchack stands when Touret waves him up and takes the fight into the clinch. Touret starts throwing knees and elbows and Munchack's cut is getting worse. Another elbow...worse. Another elbow...worse. Then a nice uppercut and the cut is really nasty. One more elbow and the doctor checks the blood covered fighter and the fight is over. WOW. 4 elbows thrown, 4 elbows landed...and all with precision aiming at the cut for a great performance by Touret ! No "syndrome" here I can see...But they say, "elbows speak louder than words" right?

Results: After 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Julien Touret!

185 lbs fight between Ben Zanotto (174152) and "The Lion Of Matema" Baraka Simengwa (192358)

Zanotto is one of those elite wrestlers that so many fear because not only can he make pretzels out of you on the ground, but he can knock you right the hell out as well, and has 21 victims (out of 26 wins) to prove it. Simengwa however is a Red Belt in BJJ and aint scared of anybody we know...and has 18 victims (out of 20 wins) to tell the tale for him. So as expected Zanotto threw some strikes in the standing because a power striker can do you an ugly standing OR on the ground, but most the fight was on the ground where Zanotto literally beat the dog-snot out of Simengwa as Simengwa worked hard to get the submission with 12 attempts. But...

Results: In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ben Zanotto!

265+ lbs fight between Marcus Fenix (186326) and Michael Proctor (187233)

Interesting to note it was Fenix with the clinches, but couldn't land a single strike there, while Proctor got a few shots in. But it was all about the standup and Fenix quite simply outlanded Proctor more than 2 to 1.

Results: All 3 judges see the fight the same way at 30:27 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marcus Fenix!

145 lbs fight between "The Candyman" Willy Wonka (159900) and Yuri Boyka (34136)

As expected Wonka the submission fighter was going for takedowns and submissions, but Boyka came prepared to defend and he did that nicely and Wonka failed to get the submission. But Boyka is 41 years old and wins more from decision than any other method, and that means going the distance...maybe not a good game plan for a 41 year old...

Results: All 3 judges see the fught the same at 29:28 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Willy Wonka!

265+ lbs fight between Ashley Harrington (187234) and Tio Malone (182171)

First strike landed is an overhand right from Malone delivered pro bono to Harrington and Harrington is cut. Harrington lands his first strike and Malone is cut from a high kick. Dont think I ever seen that before....each fighter cut from the first blow their opponent lands... Maybe the vampires roaring got the 2 fighters a bit leary to land more strikes and splash more blood because they both seem more interested to counter than to throw...but apparently the corner talk got Harrington back to the fight with grit in his teeth because he came right out the 2nd round and he cracks Malone with a big right hand that send him stumbling back against the cage and down to his knees. Harrington is eager to finish and leave before security loses control of the vampires and he quickly attacks and the referee stops the fight.

Results: After 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ashley Harrington!

185 lbs fight between "Vodoo Child" Virgil Keller (178804) and Hector "Hammerhead" Williams (151289)

With an elite wrestler (Williams) and a BJJ black belt (Keller) I kinda expected this fight to go to the ground rather quickly...but NOT. Both men using kicks mixed with punches, but its Keller landing a bit more. Keller is cut by a Williams hook and its Williams knocked the hell out when Keller unleases a brutal combination of punches ending with a nasty shot to the jaw that ends the fight. Nice finish Keller !

Results: After 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Virgil Keller!

265+ lbs fight between Gunnar Steigelmann (196145) and "The WarWagon" Jt Colossus (1688)

Can you say clinch-war? Yep you better be able to, because this fight was damn near all clinch. Colossus the elite boxer was all punches (8 landed) and Steigelmann the elite boxer with elite Muay Thai skills used punches AND knees AND elbows nicely mixed to keep the 1-dimensional boxer confused what was coming next. Sure enough Steigelmann catches Colossus with a knee to the head while they were clinched and crumples Colossus.

Results: After 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee & Punches). Gunnar Steigelmann! The defeated Jt Colossus (a member of the THE ILLUMINATI alliance) had this to say: "I want to thank GAMMA for being an amazing organization and I want to thank my opponent for knocking me to kingdom come". Steiglemann was awarded the "KO of the Night" for this performance.

265 lbs TITLE fight between the Champion, "American Psycho" Patrick Bateman (180187) and the Challenger, Fat Gorrila (204973)

Bateman has 26 of his 27 wins coming by knockout, but Gorrila has elite Muay Thai skills AND a black belt in BJJ with 12 of his 14 wins coming by knockout. So Im thinking the final bell wont be sounded... Both men showing experience and mixing in kicks and working the body, and its a close fight when Gorrila is rocked by a Bateman head-kick that knocks Gorrila down. Gorrila gets to his feet bleeding and Bateman lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! Gorrila is motionless on the canvas...a brutal finish by Bateman !

Results: After 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Patrick Bateman! Patrick Bateman retains his heavyweight title! This fight was awarded the "Fight of the night".

I still say Daffey Duck was a transsexual...GOODBYE !!
