Q: Dear martial arts fans today I will pay a visit to Mick Shaw. Mick last time we talked about your fighting career, more importantly we discussed it growing a little stale. We heard that is no longer the case. Mick, I'll let you make the announcement.

Mick: I've got a fight! The contracts have been signed and I'm set to face Koios Dionysos Molovgomedov july twenty-fourth in Amsterdam at Imperial's thirty-ninth event. Don't miss it because it will be great!

Q: Mick, you've been very vocal about wanting to get back in the cage. Now that you will get another shot, are you still as excited? Since you're coming from a loss, if you lose this fight it might be your last, doesn't that scare you?

Mick: My career could have been over after my last fight, I'm so excited about getting another fight that I'm not even considering losing right now. I only want to think positively. Negative thinking won't do me any good, so I can't afford to do that. I feel like a winner now for getting a second chance and I want to take it! I've been waiting for this moment for a long time now and I can feel it coming closer and closer as time is running out. I'm so excited that I'm barely able to sit still doing this interview, I'm done waiting. All I want now is to step in that cage and prove my worth to everyone!
