Underdogs Preview #14

Event Preview: Underdogs
The Leftovers
2015-07-16, The Island, Hayashi's Lounge - The Island
Author:The Dictator

Welcome to the Hayashi's Lounge! It's a celebration day. Don't you know why? It's the national underdog day here at the Island! Woohoo! Let's look at the top 5 fights for this event...

#6 Rhodek Thaljk v Dennis Reynolds

Rhodek, a young wrestler from Georgia(the country), is having his Leftovers debut. He's the underdog here, so we're all rooting for him. His opponent spent a couple of weeks on the sidelines due to injuries but he comes here on the trail of 2 KO wins. He's a veteran boxer and punches in bunches is what we'll see from him.

#7 Jean Pilou v Quill Styles

Jean is another puncher. he hails from France and comes from a lost rematch against the champ Muriel. Quill is also coming from a loss, two actually. I don't know who the underdog is here. Styles has the abiltity to take this to the ground so he might be the favorite coming into this one.

#8 Ganbaatar Khan v Mark Munoz

Khan lost his last fight but he's still 2-1 here at the leftovers. The Mongolian likes to strike from a distance so that's probably what we'll see from him. Mark is 2-4 with us and he's riding a 2 fight losing streak so he's lucky to be the underdog coming into this fight. He still favours the ground game even though he's not very good at it. Let's see what he does...

#9 Co Main - Alan Nova v Charlie Morbolev

Alan rejected a title fight and so he serves as a co main to a different title fight. He's still undefeated with 2 wins but he looked unconvincing in them going the distance for decisions. He likes to stand but can also threaten with the takedown, I still think he's the underdog here. Charlie rebounded very well from his failed title challenge and comes into this fight with a 2-1 record with us. He's also a puncher so we'll probably see a KO.

#10 MAIN EVENT - Bernardo Muriel v Hery Rabemananjara

Muriel, the champ, has a perfect 3-0 record at the leftovers and comes to this fight ranked #8 p4p overall. He's a volume clinch puncher and can also bang from the outside. Hery, 3-1 with the Leftovers, fights precisely the same way as Muriel. Hery has a MT base while the champ has a wrestling background. Which one will be stronger in this clinchers fight? Will there be a new champ or will the brazilian reach an even higher ranking? No underdogs on this one!
