The Romper Room Butt-Stompers has once again shown why its events are becoming the "place to be" here in Las Vegas with an incredible show at the The Underground this July 22nd. This amazing event had 7 fights resulting in 5 knockouts, and 2 submissions for the Butt-Stomping pleasure of the MMA fans who stormed the gates to see it. This event has 2 Championship bouts; and is the 4nd Stomper event to finsh the night (3rd event in a row) and never hear a final bell! This review will hopefully visualize for the fans who sadly missed it....just what a great evening they missed out on. 265 lbs fight between Harry "Triple H" Hemmington Hogwell (271867) and Alen Zalac (272486)
Hogwell is a boxer and Zalac is boxer/BJJ fighter. Ding Ding ! WTF ? Hogwell clinch and break clinch. Hogwell jabs and grabs a takedown. Hogwell attempting to stand ? ((I think someone has slider syndrome)) One minute and Zalac has not done ANYTHING except keep Hogwell from standing up. ((Maybe there are TWO cases of slider syndrome here?)) Referee standup. Zalac actually moving now and seems interested in a takedown and Hogwell grabs a clinch and lands a couple shots and breaks clinch and drops Zalac with a right hand.
Results: After 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Hemmington Hogwell!
170 lbs fight between Pollyanne "Miss Deborah" Rothchild (267404) (currently highest ranked "polygendered cross-dressing showgirl man" in the world) and Xander "XXX" Cage (264806)
Rothchild is a ground fighter (go figure) and Cage is strong standup fighter with reasonable wrestling skills (he gonna need them if it goes to the ground). Ding Ding ! Rothchild straight for the hug up against the cage, but Cage (lol) is defending nicely and keeping Rothchild back with punches. Then strangely...maybe the affection getting to him??? Cage hugs Rothchild and is trying to hold his/her arms, but Rothchild has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. It takes a minute but the overly amourous Rothchild trips Cage to the ground and is trying to mount. Cage is frantically doing everything he can to get away from this threat (double threat?) He's all over the place and Rothchild is riding him like a bull. Looks like a cartoon with the roadrunner feet and feathers sticking in and out of a dust ball as they take off... But Rothchild just riding him around (and smiling). The referee even asks him to get busy and DO something and I swear I thought I heard Rothchild say something about "he likes it when they struggle first" and to keep the referee from calling a standup he got busy and passes to full mount then has Cage's back as he is trying to stand and its RNC time ! Now I gotta say...that was "sweetly" done. Ahem...
Results: After 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pollyanne Rothchild! Rothchild was awarded "Submission of the Night".
170 lbs fight between Keikan "2 Kiru" Kira (267816) and Test Fighter A (268635)
Kira is a boxer/BJJ fighter and Fighter A is boxer. Ding Ding ! Kira on the attack and Fighter A is in zombie mode. Kira clinches then breaks clinch? then clinches again and Fighter A surprisingly pulls guard. From his back Fighter A spends the next 2 minutes trying to get a sweep and defending against Kira's continual attacks of GnP and submissions until Kira is successful getting a kimura and its over! Nice work Kira...and very sweet of Fighter A to get on the ground with you....maybe next fight you should matchup with Pollyanne Rothchild! Hmmmmmmm....
Results: After 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Keikan Kira!
170 lbs fight between Fourth Foot (270724) and Justin "The Nick of" Tyme (270555)
Both men are boxers. Ding Ding ! Foot comes out swinging and missing and missing and Tyme is dancing around making him look foolish air-punching. But by the end of the 1st minute Fist is connecting and Tyme is busy countering but getting in his own shots as well and its turning out to be a hell of a battle. Foot kept trying to clinch but Tyme defended well and they went to the end of the round toe to toe just going at it in one of the best rounds in Butt-Stomper history. Round 2, Foot stumbles Tyme with a right hand and seems to of picked up the pace of attack this round but Tyme is defending nicely and getting in his own counter shots here and there. Foot has thrown alot of combinations wildly but eventually...Foot drops Tyme with a beautiful combination and when he gets to his feet, Foot tags Tyme with a hook that puts him to sleep!
Results: After 3:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fourth Foot!
170 lbs fight between the Champion, Mordecai Sackett (265009) and the Challenger, Pietro Maximoff.
Sackett is well developed mixed style fighter and Maxinoff is a well rounded Muay Thai/BJJ fighter. Ding Ding ! Sackett Sackett Sackett Maximoff kicks and Sackett counters with a big uppercut that knocks Maximoff off his feet! Sackett dives into side control and just starts beating the crap out of a stunned Maximoff until the referee returns from break and stops the slaughter.
Results: After 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mordecai Sackett! Mordecai Sackett retains his welterweight title!
170 lbs fight between Cormac Mac Airt (262184) and Shayne Corson (262406)
Mac Airt is a boxer/BJJ fighter and Corson is well rounded Muay Thai fighter. Ding Ding ! Mac Airt comes out aggressively and Corson is defending and throwing out a kick here and there but Mac Airt is landing 3 times as many strikes but one of the kicks by Corson cuts Mac Airt and then Mac Airt is rocked by a counter straight right hand. Mac Airt goes berzerk and slams Corson a straight right hand and rocking him, and then Mac Airt throws an overhand right that drops Corson like a sack of potatoes! Mac Airt dives in to finish the fight and its over ! wow ! Thats was spectacular !
Results: After 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cormac Mac Airt! This fight was awarded "Fight Of the Night".
185 lbs TITLE fight between the Champion, Falcon Sackett (264392) and the Challenger, Sergio "Biloca" Moreira (268262)
Sackett is a ground fighter with strong standing skills, and Moreira is a wrestler. Ding Ding ! BAM!!! A head kick lands from Sackett that sends Moreira to the canvas. Moreira tries to scramble back to his feet but Sackett brings him back down into side control. Now thats NOT a good way to start a championship fight...nope! So here we are, Moreira is rocked and cut and on his back and Sackett is working away with elbows and punches and landing about half of it. Moreira looking for a sweep but Sackett has passed into full mount! The beatdown commences and its only moments before the referee jumps in. That was a dominant performance by Sackett.
Results: After 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Falcon Sackett! Falcon Sackett retains his middleweight title! Sackett was awarded "KO of the Night".
