UPF10 Thork Vs. Placencia - The Pipeline - Hilo   Undercard   Leeroy Jenkins vs Lukas Hradongogoh - 265+lbs   This fight was a great start to our card and a real sign of things to come on the night. Hradongogoh used a strong muay thai clinch to control and work over Jenkins, He used nasty knees to head and body to soften up his opponent up against the cage while also demonstrating good dirty boxing. more heavy body shots wore down Jenkins and then a left hook straight right comination left him stunned long enough for Hradongogoh to land a sickening uppercut which ended the night   Lukas Hradongogoh wins by KO (3:35 Rd1)   Felipe Senna vs Cole Ohmsford - 185lbs   Well i suppose we cant expect all fights to be explosive finishes and this proved to be our only decision of the night. The first round started with Ohmsford landing the first takedown but Senna soon executed a nice sweep to gain dominance and control the round. The second saw Senna this time landing the takedown and look for submissions while also advancing position nicely, Rond 3 again saw senna score the takedown but inactivity saw the ref stand up the fighters which was then followed by Ohmsford securing a beautiful trip into half guard where the fight stayed until the final buzzer.   Cole Ohmsford wins by majority decision (30-27 29-28 29-29)   Musa Ahmadio vs Curt Wooten - 155lbs   A very short night for Ahmadio which will surely force him to work o his ground game if he is to achieve anything in his mma career. Swinging wildly Ahmadio showed how desperate he was to end the night early to avoid his obvios weaknesses being exposed but Wooten had other ideas, easily avoiding more sloppy attacks Wooten easily landed a takedown and quickly locked in a savage looking kneebar which had Ahmadio screaming in agony   Curt Wooten wins by Submission (0:36 Rd1)   Dillinger Green vs Henry Thiago - 135lbs   Green will feel like he was winning this fight until he decided to fight Thiago at his own game and ruined all the good work he had done during the first round. Thiago initially landed a takedown but Green popped straight back up and used great muay thai to start breaking down Thiago, heavy shots to the body seemed to be leading to an early TKO but a moment of madness saw him take Thiago to the mat and immediately find himself wrapped up in a vice like armbar   Henry Thiago wins by Submission (2:58 Rd1)   Maincard   Akito Toyotoku vs Dick Whittaker - Vacant 170lb Championship   The start of the maincard saw the first of five title fights on a historic night for UPF. Tokoyotu showed great takedown defense in round 1 to tire and frustrate Whittaker while also unleashing solid leg kicks to greatly effect his opponents mobility, Round 2 was a carbon copy of the first as Whittaker again tried in vain to secure a takedown while getting lit up by the precise muay thai leg kicks of Toyotoku> The end of the fight was started by a flashy head kick that cut Whittaker ansd was followed up by a massive right hand to drop him with added ground and pound from Toyotoku sealed the deal.   Akito Toyotoku wins UPF 170lb Championship by TKO (4:39 Rd3)   Ali Bagautinov vs Ryte Lye - Vacant 135lb Championship   Very tentative first round from both athletes to start off as they exchanged sloppy strikes with a guard pull from Lye being the highlight of the round. The fight then sprang into life in the second as Rye landed numerous takedowns that looked like it would secure the second but Bagautinov had other ideas....managing to escape to his feet again he started to brutalize Lye to head and body until a crisp and accurate combination left his foe staring up at the lights.   Ali Bagautinov wins UPF 135lb Championship by KO (4:55 Rd2)   Mustafiq Rana vs Vrushak Madhura - Vacant 185lb Championship   Our third title fight of the evening was a very evenly contested bout fought mainly on the mat. Rana scored a takedown early in round 1 but was kept busy by Madhura consatantly trying submissions, Round 2 again saw Rana secure the takedown although he was the more dominant fighter this time with submission attempts of his own. Round 3 started with Madhura gaining his first takedown of the night but Rana showed better submission offense from his back and managed to counter a punch into championship winning triangle choke.   Mustafiq Rana wins 185lb Championship by Submission (2:58 Rd3)   Pavlo Ramazanov vs Kenton Okunaba - 265lb #1 contender bout   The bout to determine the number 1 contender for the 265lb title was a violent affair between 2 highly skilled opponents, an early clinch by Okunaba ensured the fight was contested at close quarters with both fighters attacking body and head. After a fairly even period of action Okunaba cut Ramazanov with a big knee and then pored on the pressure, dropping Ramazanov twice with another big knee and an overhand right. The third time was the charm as a pair of huge knees left the ref with no option other than to rescue Ramazanov from any further punishment.   Kenton Okunaba wins by TKO (4:09 Rd1)   Co-Main Event   Thiago Meida vs Howard Jeblowme - Vacant 265+lb Championship   I am going to be completely honest and say i am surprised Jeblowme lasted as long as he did considering he was a late replacement in this bout. Meida started strongly and never looked like losing at any point, Using good head movement and footwork he was able to slip almost all of Jeblowmes punches while landing crushing counters of his own. The first 2 rounds were all Meida and he was then able to put away his overmatched opponent early in the third, a right hand counter dropped Jeblowme and although he was able to make it back to his feet a huge combination had him hurt again and the ref had seen enough.   Thiago Meida wins UPF 265+lb Championship by TKO (0:32 Rd3)   Main Event   Dr Thork vs Anthony Placencia - Vacant 155lb Championship   The final title fight of the night was also the quickest as Dr Thork wasted no time insecuring UPF gold at the first attempt. Scoring a nice double leg takedown Thork immediately went on the attack looking for an arm triangle although Placencia had just enough to escape danger but things soon went pear shaped for the milwaukee veteran, Placencia again managed to defend an arm triangle but thork was not to be denied.....transitioning to back mount and easily wrapping up a rear naked choke which left Placencia no other option than to tap out.   Dr Thork wins UPF 155lb Championship by submission (2:56 Rd1)     Submission of the night: Curt Wooten Knockout of the night: Kenton Okunaba Fight of the night: Curt Wooten vs Musa Ahmadio
