Editorial by Grumpy Bastard

Stomp-a-thon 20b        5 Aug 2015        Review by Rabid Alien (102643)
The Romper Room Butt-Stompers has once again shown why its events are becoming the "place to be" here in Las Vegas with an incredible show at Wild Bob's Bar this August 5th.  This smackdown packed event had 8 fights, and not a SINGLE ONE OF THEM saw the 2nd round.  Yup, thats right...8 fights so brutal and so vicious that 6 men went down for the count and 2 more "begged off from some hurtin" to the stand-stomping pleasure of the MMA fans who flocked in eagerly to see it.  This review will hopefully visualize for the fans who sadly missed it....just what a great evening they missed out on.  If my verbs and adjectives fail, u can get the brutally tasty details at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=840896.

265 lbs fight between the Challenger, a very well-rounded Muay Thai fighter, Mitzi "Satan" Glozman (265912)and the Champion, a boxer, Savage Hulk (260931) who is here for his 2nd defense of the belt.    Ding Ding !   Hulk comes out throwing and Glozman  is defending and looking to counter and when he lands a combo, Hulk is cut.  Glozman catches Hulk against the cage and clinches him up.  And thats when it quickly went downhill for Hulk as Glozman put a classic beatdown with elbows and knees and really showed what Muay Thai is all about.  The cut took more and more shots until the referee called the doc in...
Results:    After 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mitzi Glozman!  Mitzi Glozman is the new heavyweight champion!
205 lbs fight between  a wrestler Sameh Mahmoud (271534) and Second Foot (270718) a boxer.  Ding Ding !  Mahmoud comes out swinging and is cut by a right fist from Fist.   Mahmoud grabs a clinch and starts working the body as Fist is trying to get away.  Mahmoud  is just beating the dog-snot out of Fist in the clinch and Fist cant get out.  Fist eats an uppercut and several other shots before an uppercut puts him on the mat where its all over!  Nice Muay Thai work from the wrestler Mahmoud !
Results:    After 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sameh Mahmoud!
205 lbs fight between a well rounded wrestler Antoniusz Amaro (263051) and Erik Meen who is a Muay Thai fighter with excellent ground skills.  Ding Ding !  Meen straight to the clinch and is attacking but Amaro is defending the onslaught and scores a sneaky takedown which Meen immediately escapes from.  Meen is cut by a right hand and is looking for the clinch, and Amarao is countering and defending but eventually Meen gets his hug and is just swarming Amaro and Amaro wisely pulls guard and next we know its Meen tapping out!
Results:    After 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Antoniusz Amaro!
205 lbs fight between "Mr. 110%" Kalazzar Scar (270615) and Brij "O's" Ja (271518).  Both men are street style fighters.      Ding Ding !   Scar grabs a hug and has Ja against the cage but Ja trips him for the takedown and Scar escapes quickly back to his feet just to eat a combination from Ja which he counters with his own takedown and these two are all over the place.  Ja escapes and gets a takedown and finally its Scar who decided to take the fight to the next step and slips in an armbar and seconds later its Ja with the tappity tap tap ! Nice work Scar !
Results:    After 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kalazzar Scar!
205 lbs fight between a boxer/wrestler, Messi "Neymar" Suarez (273874) and Sven Artur (273136) who is a boxer with wrestling skills.  Ding Ding !   Suarez has seen all the love in the previous fights and rushes to grab a hug from Artur and then starts handing out love taps which prompts Artur to start using the Thai plumb to throw knees and these teo are going at it...except...it seems that Suarez is connecting...and Artur is NOT.  And you know how these things turn out...You gotta be able to land....if not...you get landed !
Results:    After 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Messi Suarez!
265 lbs fight between a boxer, "The Walking Man" Reed Basaev (266311) and a boxer/wrestler named The Boxer Ii (268573).
Ding !  Basaev going to the body and Boxer Ii counter combo's and it quickly becomes a chess game with strike and counter-strike between each man.  Boxer Ii is knocked down by a counter right hand from Basaev who waves Boxer Ii to his feet.  But Boxer Ii is google eyed and takes an uppercut on the chin for a clean knockout!
Results:    after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oleg Basaev!
170 lbs fight between Xander "XXX" Cage (264806) and  Pietro "Quicksilver" Maximoff (267452)
Cage is standup fighter with good ground skills and Maximoff is a Muay Thai/BJJ fighter.  Ding Ding !  Maximoff lands a couple body shots and Cage is returning fire but grabs a clinch when Maximoff lands a hook to the head.  In the clinch however, Cage was the dominant fighter and landed 7 strikes to Maximoff's 1 strike landed.  Cage breaks the clinch and when a shot to the body from Maximoff misses, Cage counters with a crisp right that sends Maximoff to the canvas! BAM !
Results:    After 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xander Cage!  Cage is awarded "KO of the Night".
155 lbs fight between a Muay Thai/wrestler, Philip "Lip" Gallagher (270823) and a boxer, Pelle "El Pistolero" Pistachio (272572).
Ding !  Pistachio wants a takedown but Gallagher fights him off and Pistachio settles for a clinch where he is trying to take the fight to the ground.  Gallagher stuffs 3 takedown attempts and then grabs a clinch and proceeds to feed Pistachio a dinner of knee dumplings.  Once Gallagher  has him rocked and bleeding from knee strikes, Gallagher delivered a brutal knee desert and put Pistachio to beddy-bye.
Results:    After 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Philip Gallagher!
Sooooo.... did anyone notice?  The layout of the commentary/reveiw has been reversed from normally done?  I think I like it as it is and might continue to do it this way. Its simpler to layout because it follows th game laoyout...so makes sense.  Anyone care?
GOOD NITE  !!!
