 Hey, hey, hey people! Yes, it's another event preview from The Leftovers. This one is called Wimped Out so it might have something to do with you... Here are th top 5 fights of the evening...
#6 Gjallahorn Nukington v Demitrious Dalby
Nukington combined for less of a minute of cage time with his 3 first victories. All by KO. He got TKOed himself after that but has already rebounded with another 1st round victory. Very heavy hands from this Canadian. Dalby is an all rounded Singaporean who loves to fight. He came to the Leftovers with 7-4 record and so far has a split 1-1 record with us. Experience Vs Power, who will come out on top?
#7 Achillies Hendricks v Joey Mandana
The Greek Warrior Hendricks finds himself for the 1st time on a losing streak after losing to contender Radovan after failing to succeed on his 2nd title shot. The tiny Joey Mandana is also on a losing streak after losing to top 5 opponents. He's a grappler who relies on submissions to get victories. Achillies also like to go to ground sometimes so we might have a sub of night candidate right here.
#8 Hery Rabemananjara v Julius Jackson
Hery is yet another fighter who is looking for his third chance. He has only lost 3 times and 2 of those were title fights. He will be looking to use his muay thai skills and begin another run at the belt. This will be his last run since in about a month the season will be over. His opponent, Jackson, already has his run set and will be looking to make Rabemananjara his stepping stone towards a title shot. He's a young but very skilled boxer and since this fighter will not hit the mat, there will be some fireworks.
#9 Co-Main Event - Bobby Bones v Sonny Bradford
Bones scored a fantastic upset in submitting the champ Gerson with a 1st round guillotine. However the management decided for a quick rematch and this time it went in favour of the island's top middleweight. Bones will be looking to quickly dispatch his opponent here and earn the grudge match against the champ. On his way is Sonney Bradford, who is a finisher having amassed 5 finishes on his 5 wins. He lost only once and currently rides a 2 fight winning streak. He'd better not let this fight go to the ground. His only chance is in knocking Bones out.
#10 Main Event - Bernardo Muriel v Cheng Ki Won LHW Title
It's the awaited rematch between the the first Leftovers 205lbs champ and the most dominant light- heavyweight the island has seen. Muriel has won all his fights with us outworking his opponents with his clinch skills. This will be his 6 title fight and he currently ranks #1 at LHW and #2 overall. Cheng is no stranger to title fights having won his first two before losing the belt to Pikachu. We expect him to try hard for the takedown where he can use his awesome BJJ and get the sub to recapture the belt.
