Soa Palelei (9-3) v Corey Parker (9-3)

The USFC is back in action as it celebrates its first year on the Tycoon scene with USFC 78, Live from the Liberty Dome in New York!

One year ago yesterday the USFC opened its doors and went looking for the top 250 ID range fighters in the world, and boy did it come up big!

Among the first wave of early recruits came two promising young heavyweights, Corey "Punishment Walk" Parker out of the camp of Martin O, and Soa Palelei out of Camp Jursllla. Parker made his debut along with the org later that month at USFC 1 on Thanksgiving Day, and went on to capture the crown in January of 2015.

Palelei made his USFC debut that same month with a pair of KO's to earn a title shot against Parker in February, finishing the champ in Round 1 with a dominant performance. After both fighters won their next fights, Parker found himself as the #1 contender and poised for the rematch with Palelei.

However, Palelei intially declined stating that Parker was no challenge after just crushing him in convincing fashion. After hearing Parker's claims that he just had a bad night and that he knew how to bring down the seemingly invincible champion, Palelei accepted the challenge and the rematch was on!

The two squared off at USFC 33 as Parker took the champ down early and began to wear on him with a slow and steady attack, chipping away at Palelei with ground and pound. With just 3 seconds to go in Round 4, a final elbow broke Palelei's will and Parker became the first 2-time heavyweight champion in the USFC's history!

It was a stunning upset that sparked a heated rivalry between two of the best new camps of 2015 and set up a trilogy for the ages! The two Hall Of Fame inductees enter the cage this Saturday night in the main event to finally settle score as the winner moves one step closer to a third world title! It's a night for the fans as two of the USFC's founding fighters cap off a night featuring some of the most loved fighters in USFC history!

Look for another dramatic finish as neither man has been the distance in their combined 24 fights! It's champion against champion, legend against legend... it's Palelei vs Parker 3!

Jake Wobinson (8-7) v Mike Plaskota (9-3)

Submission specialist Jake "The Snake" Wobinson looks for the 8th sub of his career and his third straight victory as he meets former ECFC light heavyweight champion Mike Plaskota! All 9 of Plaskota's wins have come by way of submission as he looks to add his third victim since signing with the USFC! It's a classic ground war as two of the best Jiu Jitsu artists in the world will tie up in the co-main event!

John Galt (10-6) v Ricky Shopionus (8-7)

John Galt and Ricky Shopionus look to get back on track after both suffered devastaing knockouts in their last appearances. Galt has been in against the best, having faced four USFC middleweight champions. He looks to be in the best form of his career under the new management of Dale Saw, going 2-1 since their merger.

Shopionus comes in from the camp of Samuel Sinkilä where he has developed a reputation as an one of the most exciting fighters in the USFC! Having 7 KO's to his credit, look for Shopionus to stand in the pocket and attempt to bang it out while Galt looks to bring the fight down to the mat. Henry "Late Night" Molovgomedov looks to get back on the winning track after a title loss to P4P champion Neymar Junior. "Late Night" pressed the champion, going three hard rounds before succumbing early in the fourth.

The Hound looks to be the only fighter in the USFC's history who moves down in level of competition when he steps into the cage for his  USFC debut. Can The Hound live up to expectations and score another submission victory or will Bryant become the first 250 ID range fighter to figure him out? Both have taken their lumps in the USFC with all of their combined fights coming against the USFC's top 155'ers. Their opponents read like a whose who of Tycoon's top lightweights as each will add another MMA icon to the list tomorrow night.

Throw the records out the door as two of the best attempt to climb back up the rankings and inch closer to another shot at the reigning champ!

Will the legend go out in style or will the new blood give notice of a new era in the heavyweight division? Look for a brutal finish to give the answer as two of the most beloved fighters in history clash center cage!

Simon Vale (2-5) v Fred Frederiksen (7-13)
