Jay: Haha. Welcome to Ray & Jay's Excellent MMA Adventures. Today's show we will discuss UPF 36: Fukumatsu Vs. De Vries. But, before we get into it, I would like to make an announcement; the UPF has acquired another org. It will be run by none other than Jamie McKenna former President of Operations here at the UPF. Now he is at UPF Underground, in London. Ultimate Pit Fighting Underground, also known as UPF Underground, will be a "feeder" org for the UPF. Their best fighters will eventually sign with the UPF. In time the UPF will be a common household name in the MMA tycooniverse. Now, back to the task at hand. UPF 36: Fukumatsu Vs. De Vries is brought to you by, AnonymouS, in Montreal the only place for best MMA gear available, and by UPF Sports Book and Chain Gang Bookies, the best odds offered on any events around! Ok enough of the rambling, pops the first fight on the card.

Ray: Hey everybody this is Ray. Boy am I excited about this weeks card, we have an incredible line up. The only thing that could make this card any better would be if Dwayne "D-Bo" Boskins was on the card, he is such an exciting fighter to watch. Alright enough with the fantasies, let's talk about what we really have this week. The opening fight of the night pits two lightweight fighters for three rounds. Daniel "King" Kim will face Chael Blanket. Both fighters are looking to bounce back after their most recent losses. Kim will no doubt be trying to keep this one standing, while Blanket will undoubtedly try to drag it to the mat. I don't think Chael has the necessary skill to take Kim down. Kim will dominate the stand up and ultimately win by KO in round 2.
Jay: Both these two lost to Curt Wooden via submission in their last outings. That being said, Kim had a better showing in his fight then Chael did in his. Chael's wrestling is almost non-existent, which doesn't bode well for a Jiu Jitsu fighter. And Kim has shown decent wrestling, which he uses to keep the fight standing. I feel that, for once, you're right pops. Kim will dominate this fight. But I think he will sap too much of Chael's energy thwarting his takedown attempts and knock him out in the first.

Predictions
Ray: Kim by KO at 2:42 of round 2.
Jay: Kim by KO at 3:41 of round 1.

Jay: Next up is a middleweight bout between the former RDFC middleweight champion of the world, "The Contractor" Laam OvGod and his opponent, making his UPF debut, Emil "The Spider" Gustafsson. After losing his belt and failing to regain it, OvGod decided to sign with the UPF. He was given a shot at the belt, being a former champ, but fell short losing by TKO in the very first round. He hasn't had much luck since then either. But, is looking to get back on track, a victory here, then a few more and OvGod could see another title shot. But, standing in his way is The Spider. Emil, after a disappointing decision loss, which one could have made the argument that Emil actually won that fight but the judges didn't see it that, is looking to put on a show for his debut. Having better wrestling and Jiu Jitsu, I give this one to Gustafsson via submission. Gotta love those black belts.
Ray: I'm just going to keep it short. I see a little divine intervention in this fight, OvGod by KO in round 1.

Predictions
Jay: Gustafsson by Submission at 1:21 of round 2.
Ray: OvGod by KO at 2:18 of round 1.

Ray: We follow that fight with a battle of the little guys, bantamweight division bout between Yaseen Kruger and his opponent Pitt Steel. The undefeated Kruger will have his hands full with this one, if he ends up on the ground. Steel likes to fight on the ground, and will be looking for every opportunity to take him to the ground. But I just don't see that happening, Kruger will thwart his takedown attempts and score a KO in round 2.
Jay: Ok people don't let my pops fool ya. The only reason he is going for Kruger is because pops and Kruger are all buddy buddy. Kruger is at pops house regularly, I think he sells him his pot. (Laughs) Anyways, your "pal" doesn't stand a chance in this one. Pitt Steel will get the quick takedown and Yaseen will be in a whole world of hurt. Steel via submission in round 1.

Predictions
Ray: Kruger by KO at 3:18 of round 2.
Jay: Steel by Submission at 4:10 of round 1.

Jay: The undercard's final fight is in the heavyweight division. Bill Goldberg and Robert "Ur Sons Father" Inurgurl will square off for three scheduled rounds. This fight will be decided by whomever can dictate the pace and location of the fight. That being said, Goldberg is going to absolutely dominate this fight. That might just be wishful thinking, Ur Sons Father just might be my least favorite fighter, ever! Goldberg via KO in round 2.
Ray: You know I don't like Roberts name either. But I love the way he fights. He has made a fan out of me. He's incredibly talented and has a lotta heart. All this stuff you were spouting about Goldberg is nothing but hogwash. The last time these two met Goldberg took the decision but I think Robert had the fight stolen from him. And I don't think he will let that happen again, Robert will be looking to put him away early. Inurgurl by KO late in the first round.

Predictions
Jay: Goldberg by KO at 2:12 of round 2.
Ray: Inurgurl by KO at 4:44 of round 1.

Ray: Now we have arrived to the maincard. First up is a lightweight match up, Curt "The Hurt" Wooten will go toe to toe with Don Fagaro in a scheduled three rounder. I'm gonna make this my upset of the week. Everything points to Fagaro but I Curt will surprise everyone. I think Curt is going to tap out the black belt in the second round.
Jay: I've said it before and I'll say it again; gotta love black belts. Fagaro by Sub.

Predictions
Ray: Wooten by Submission at 2:11 or round 2.
Jay: Fagaro by Submission at 1:12 of round 1.

Jay: Next we have a featherweight bout on the maincard. The ever improving and very talented Cristoff Melkovick will go up against the extremely dangerous up and comer Striker Mc Steel. Striker might only be 17 but he is a force to be reckoned with. Cristoff is looking to bounce back after losing to top contender Crose "The Saint" McCringe. Keys to victory for these two are, for Cristoff, get the fight to the mat ASAP. While, for Mc Steel, it is to stay standing at all cost. It will be fascinating to see who can execute their gameplan. I haven't the slightest idea who will win, but I'm pilling for the young blood. Mc Steel by KO in round 2.
Ray: Given some more training Mc Steel might beat Melkovick. But to be frank, Mc Steel is just not ready. He is a great prospect with huge potential. But I'm sorry to say, he's going down in this one. Melkovick wins by TKO in round 2.

Predictions
Jay: Mc Steel by KO at 0:13 of round 2.
Ray: Melkovick by (T)KO at 1:11 of round 2.

Ray: The next match up, still on the maincard, is in the featherweight division as Crose "The Saint" McCringe will test his five fight win streak against an awesome ground fighter in Craig "Bones" Jones. Bones, Bones I love this guy. He is one of my favorite ground fighters to watch. The only problem I see here is that Jones might knock him out before he takes him down. Bones by submission, round 1.
Jay: I really like Craig "Bones" Jones as well. But I also like McCringe. 7 out of 8 of Crose's victories have come by way of submission despite only having a purple belt. That being said he has never faced a brown belt before, he has tapped out a white, blue, and even a purple belt but I'm not sure if he has what it takes to tap out a brown belt. But I still think I'm going with the underdog on this one, McCringe will pull off a huge surprise upset victory. McCringe by submission in round 2.

Predictions
Ray: Jones by Submission at 3:59 of round 1.
Jay: McCringe by Submission at 2:24 of round 2.

Jay: And now for the final fight on the maincard, scheduled for three rounds, the quick hands of Zebaztian "Viking " Nord will go up against Ray Dinkledorff. Ray is a well balanced fighter who specializes in boxing. Nord is a boxer with great anti-wrestling skills to keep the fight standing. Dinkledorff holds the edge on the ground in this one. If he gets the takedown his blue belt should help him to a decision victory but if he can't get the takedown, BOOM, Nord wins by KO.
Ray: I see this one a little differently than you do. I don't see Dinkledorff going to the ground. I think this will be a close stand up battle, but at the end of the day, I think the result be the same. Nord gets the "W" by decision.

Predictions
Jay: Nord by KO at 2:31 of round 2.
Ray: Nord by Decision.

Ray: The first main event is for the UPF featherweight championship of the world! "Big Trouble" PePe Hapitchou will make his UPF debut at the highest level possible as he is challenging our reigning, defending, undisputed, undefeated champion Malik Billings. I'm gonna let Malik do the talking for me. Billings was asked to comment on his opponent and this was his response:
Malik: "You want a comment on, my opponent Pikachhu?? What would you like me to say?? You really think a guy with the name Pikachu is going to beat me?"
Interviewer: "His name is actually Hapitchou."
Malik: "Hapitchou, Pikachu....whatever! Dude lost his last fight and he is going to lose this one as well. Get ready to take a loss like everyone else that stepped in MY octagon to face me. I'm a street fighter, Pikachu. Get ready to feel my SHORYUKEN!!! ..... There's your comment"
Ray: Billings by KO, round 3.
Jay: Pepe was unable to be reached for a response to Malik's comment. Malik is about as dominate of a champ as we have in the UPF. PePe is just simply not on the level of the champion. Malik by submission. Gotta love them black belts.

Predictions
Ray: Billings by KO at 0:12 of round 3.
Jay: Billings by Submission at 1:24 of round 2.

Jay: We have arrived at that point, the final main event of the night. Abe "Jötunn" De Vries has done enough to impress the fans and the UPF alike and is now next in line for the crown. Saturday he will challenge Ozutsu "Yokozuna" Fukumatsu for five rounds for the UPF's super-heavyweight championship of the world. De Vries has shown some awesome stand up skills in and out of the clinch. But I'm not sure if that'll be enough to take out the champ. Ozutsu is a very well rounded fighter and has the edge in this one for sure. Ozutsu by KO in round 2.
Ray: You'd think that by now I would have learned not to go against champions, champions are champions for a reason. But Are Vries has some real power here and I think he is gonna take it by KO in the first.

Predictions
Jay: Fukumatsu by KO at 2:31 of round 2.
Ray: De Vries by KO at 2:18 of round 1.

Jay: Well haha another amazing night of fights hosted by the UPF and AnonymouS. Don't forget to check out UPF Sports Book and Chain Gang Bookies for odds and place your bets. Well that's it. I'm off to take a dab. Jay out, peace. (stands up and walks off without looking back)
Ray: This is Ray, signing off until next week.
