A day with "The Sicilian Devil"

Fighter profile of Silvio Provenza by Danilo Đilas

- Hello, this is John McJonas coming to you live from sunny Island here in Rabid Dog's gym with one of the upcoming fighters Silvio Provenza or better known by some people from Sicily as "The Sicilian Devil". Hello Silvio, pleasure to speak with you.

Silvio Provenza:  Pleasure is all mine.

John McJonas: On 24th January you had a fight with Jude "Puncher" Jopperij on the BAMF Island 1 event and you won by the way of submission. How do you feel about your win and did it satisfy you?

Silvio Provenza: I don't really feel anything. I knew i would win, i train hard and have a serious manager behind me. Jude is also a kid who shouldn't have been in that cage with me that night, but i'm not the one making fights. I respect Jude for stepping inside that cage with me though. That takes a lot of balls to do. And no, it did not satisfy me. The only way i'll get some satisfaction is if i get the chance to beat the best Welterweights on this Island.

John McJonas: Wow. That's some big words. You seem like a very ambitious person. Anyway, a viewer of our TV Show wanted to know how you got your nickname.

Any words on that?

Silvio Provenza: Big words for a big man. The nickname was given to me by my coach down in Syracuse because of my tendencies to get into street fights and all sorts of trouble. But that's enough from me. Thanks for interviewing me.

John McJonas: Thank you sir, pleasure to spend some time with you.
