Greg Winklejax vs Kriz Kemp
Two undefeated, knockout machine middleweights square off to become the innaugral champion at Primal. Both fighters are natural strikers with contrasting styles that will see dirty boxer square off with traditional boxer in the hopes of capturing the gold.
Greg Winklejax enters the fight on a 6 fight run with the last 5 coming by way of first round knockout. The LOD: Black Label fighter will come into the fight looking to tie this one up in the clinch early to avoid the footwork and heavy shots on the outside of his more polished boxing opponent. Expect Winklejax to try and capitalize on his wrestling advantage to control Kemp inside the cage on route to victory.
Kriz Kemp comes in riding high on a 4 fight win streak to begin his professional career. A pure boxer with limited skills in the grappling department, it's no secret what he will be looking to do in the fight. Kemp hasn't been tested too much in his first 4 fights and it seems this fight will also be fought in his backyard with Winklejax being a boxer as well. Kemp doesn't throw many shots, but when he does throw a strike, he makes sure it counts.

Lightweight Championship
Jose Perez vs Heng Jiang
Two of Primals top lightweight prospects collide in the finale of the lightweight tournament in a fight that will see contrasting styles try and trump each other on the way to setting a benchmark for the division and crown a champion.
Jose Perez, 'The silky Spaniard' who is fighting out of the recently established Lucky Liam's MMA Academy under head coach Liam O'Connor. Perez is a powerful wrestling prospect with devastating ground and pound and extremely accurate takedowns. He will be looking to avoid the standup against Jiang at all costs and will look to work him over on the mat at all costs, the question is whether he can get it down on the mat quick enough to survive the barrage of punches and kicks that are inevitable on the feet.
Heng Jiang is a well rounded striker with remarkable defensive wrestling coming out the River's Edge Gym in New York. The Chinese native has so far dispatched of his first 3 opponents with relative ease, having put the impressive Baker out of the tournament with a dominant striking display inside the clinch in his last outting. Jiang has all the tools to be a dominant champion as long as he can survive the vicious wrestling of the prodigy Perez. Expect to see Jiang light this one up on the feet early to try and finish Perez before this one even reaches the ground.
