Hey yo what up everybody! It's been a while since my last show up. Yeah I got lazy around those days. Anyway I am back and bringing a heating preview of USFC's 100th event on 21st Feb in Liberty Dome, New York! Due to a problem of my phone, I will only do the preview of last five fights. And this is the first five fights in the card.
HW bout: Zod Wettin vs Lock Bresnar
LW bout: Dominic Tattum vs Victor Stoic
MW bout: Reggie Young vs Rashad Wilkinson
LHW bout: Thaddeus Proctor vs Thomas Campion
LHW bout: Matti Laukanen vs Maxx Elorde
Now, let's get right into the preview folks!
LW bout: Maxim Taisumov vs Sigurd Ragnarsson
This fight is an interesting one. The red corner is Maxim Taisumov who has world class boxing, high level wrestling and BJJ purple belt. He has KO power with his hands and always looking to put his punches together and finish his opponents with combinations. Sometimes he would show off his ground game with his guard pulling tactic in the clinch and tapping his opponents out. While he is loves combos and bottom game, his opponent Sigurd Ragnarsson loves single shots and top game. Ragnarsson is a decent striker with world class wrestling and BJJ brown belt. He is a very aggressive submission wrestler with accurate takedowns and deadly submission game. His striking is also decent enough to provide some troubles to his opponents. Taisumov has the edge in striking, but with his combo heavy gameplan, I can't see him landing strikes accurately enough to give Ragnarsson troubles who has decent striking and a solid chin. Also, Taisumov has been subbed thrice before. So with Ragnarsson's advantage on the ground, I can see him scoring a spectacular first round submission victory.
Prediction: Sigurd Ragnarsson wins by first round submission
FW bout: Jolly Leg Byrd vs The Hound
Two former title challengers are looking to make it a fun fight. The red corner is Jolly Leg Byrd who is an all-rounder, just world class all around. He is primarily a striker who tasted his first two TKO victories in his last two fights. I guess he is focusing more on his KO power. He also won a round against Neymar f'king Junior so I think his striking is pretty good. He would need to utilize his 71% career TDD and world class striking against tough grappler The Hound.
The Hound is the man who won two rounds against Neyman Junior with his crazy ground game. He scored only 16% of his takedowns but still, he displayed excellent control and scrambling to make it a close one. Let's don't forget Junior is hard to get taken down! The ground game is the key factor in this fight. Since The Hound has a granite chin, I think he would get through Byrd's strikes and scoring some takedowns. While on the ground, The Hound has the advantage and he can control the action. The fight would be close with Byrd winning the standup battle and The Hound winning the ground battle, but I believe The Hound will score enough takedowns to get the win by Unanimous Decision.
Prediction: The Hound wins by Unanimous Decision
FW bout: Kilafwa Tatlumahi vs Yuri Boshtok
Another FW matchup here. The red corner is Kilafwa Tatlumahi who is a Muaythai specialist with good wrestling and BJJ purple belt. He is a great kicker who has several head kick knockouts. He loves to use high volume of leg kicks and body kicks to set up his high kicks. With this exciting style, he is a fun fighter to watch. His opponent is Yuri Boshtok, a powerful GnP wrestler with accurate world class striking. He has world class wrestling and BJJ brown belt. He will use his striking to set up takedowns and start brutalizing his opponents with GnP attacks. With this clash of styles I favor Boshtok because he has good enough striking and chin to stay out of trouble standing and his wrestling and ground game advantage will make Tatlumahi, who struggled against better ground fighter a fish out of water once the fight hit the mat. I predict a second round TKO finish in favor of Boshtok.
Prediction: Yuri Boshtok wins by second round TKO
Co-main event
MW title fight: Nicolas Barcos vs Jermaine Wright (c)
Yeah! My favorite fighter Razor Wright puts his title on the line for the sixth time and looking to stay undefeated as the champ! The challenger is Nicolas Barcos, who is no joke though. He is a top level wrestler with BJJ black belt. He has serious GnP which can stop the fight in any second. He is riding a two fight win streak including a come-from-behind victory against Mr.Universe which he struggling to score takedowns in the first two rounds against much lesser wrestler because of his takedown spamming gameplan. I believe the champ can defend his title once again. Wright has never faced a wrestler like Barcos but Wright is actually a high level wrestler with heavy hands which can allow him to sprawl and brawl against somebody who has a flawed gsmeplan like that. Barcos has been KO'd by fighters Wright has been KO'd so let's get it straight: Razor Wright will score another knockout in second round after Barcos spamming takedowns for his dear life.
Prediction: Jermaine Wright wins by second round TKO to defend his MW title
MAIN EVENT
FW title fight: Pat Tillman vs Neymar Junior (c)
Are you ready for the main event! The long reigning FW champ Neymar Junior is looking to defend his title for the 14th time! He is too dominant in the division and he keeps beating legit challengers after legit challengers. He just fought the toughest fight in his career and this one would be no exception against Pat Tillman who is undefeated in USFC. Tillman is a world class fighter who actually has better skills than the champ. He packs power and also a questionable chin. He had been knocked down before who only scored 10 (T)KOs in his 23 wins. I believe Junior can get a win here because he faced Euphegen Doubdtfire, who is a better striker before. Junior lost the first round but he used his crazy power to knock Doubdtfire out in the second round. With Junior's ability to score a knockout strike at any second, Tillman will be another challenger to be dethroned. The champ is still the champ, the greatest champ ever in USFC history!
Prediction: Neymar Junior wins by second round TKO to defend his FW title
Fuck my phone for hiding the keyboard every 10 seconds or I have more mood to make a full preview! I think and hope Junior and Wright can defend his title and The Hound, the toughest challenger in Junior's career can get a win in USFC's 100th event! I can't wait for it and so are you! Thanks for watching and have a happy night on 21st Feb!
