Company profile by Welcome back you blood thirsty bastards...we proudly bring to you another record breaking event in the Island....we had 300 roaring fans chanting "who r u?...who r u?...who r u ?...." those chants were directed specificly to the enforcement officers(MODERATORS)....when they came into the Hard Knocks arena with a detention order for Mr Mamado Tododia...all hell broke loose and there was needed dozens of stwards and security to bring order to the place...at one point we all tought the event was not going to go ahead....there was litrely fans fighting with sherifs for Mamado not to be taken...but you know governament prevails 99.9% of the times....when order was finaly restablished,very much thanks to JJ and Rico that cooled things down and took over from that point on that night....The Island FC is still the one and only promotion where you realy want to be this season and what actualy follow the drama was a magnificent espectacle of hatte and brutality with tremendous skill envolved too...The B.I.G. of our rooster was heading this card and he showd fans why hes one of the most talked about fighters in the Island today....Now let me break it dow for you
MAIN EVENT 265+ lbs TITLE FIGHT Afonso Cabral vs Gary Halftard Afonso lived to hes reputation as one of the best clinch rapist in the Island, He absolutly dominates He's oponents from that position and He did it again against Gary....the former hold hes own against the Champ in the clinch exanges of the first round, avoiding geting stuned but taken the worse of it....Afonso kept very agressive as allways , with body head combinations ,but were the body shots agaist such a tall guy ,that made the most damage ,winding dow Gary ,you could actualy here it every time one of those shots hit the pit of Gary's stomach...... "clinch & pound" tactics.......that means money for the Champion in He's first title defense he retained hes belt....saying that He was the better man from the outside standing exanges too even thoe he had the clear reach dezavantage....Afonson Cabral looks like a very dangerous man indeed and He send a warning to all other contenders that ,thaey will have to do a lot more then that if the champion is to be dethroned.....Dominant performance against a dangerous unbeaten contender that in my opinion will go back to the gym ....and come back hunting the champ ,but right now at this moment in time Afonso Cabral is the man at the superheavyweight division...but with a good training camp and a better game plan Gary has a chance and we saw glimpses of that ,the sheer heart showned by the contender cought the eye of the Promotion award department and decided to award both fighters with 2 brand new Camaro's....Good 2nd round TKO win for Afonso Cabral wich earned him th (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT AWARD)
CO-MAIN EVENT 205 lbs Rich Piana vs Frank Karlsson This was a stand up war we all know about Karlsson willingness to stand and trade aswell as we know Piana ability to stay in the contest and sneaking a decision...that was what hapend Karlsson came out all guns blazing but Piana didnt back down ,,,he stayd and trade with Karlsson and you could just see in hes face how surprised he was with Piana's power and chin....it was toe to toe for the entire 3 rounds but Piana ,just, outworked Karlsson in every round specialy on the second were he showed signs of a very dangerous contender in the lightweight division, with 5 fight winning streak sinse he lost hes one and only mma professional fight,,,i realy think hes the next in line for a title fight....and hes fans expect nothing less then that....for Karlsson ,He needs to re think strategies and fight aproach has a fan i love that, a fighter that has no fear and goes forward head on but from a technical point of view i think he realy needs to work on hes grapling and had a new dimention to hes game...Battled Decision win for Rich Piana
265 lbs Ogre Treestump vs Pierre Valjean One of the best if not the best grapler is the Island today is Ogre , hes a submission wizzard newcomer with an unbeaten record and climbing the rankings pretty quick, hes oponent this time was Pierre an unbeaten fairly dangerous striker ....as for the fight it was touch and go realy....finish pretty quick...your classic 2 move fight ....takedown submission...touch and go....why ricking to get hit when you can empose your will like that with minimum risck envolved.....perfect 1st round Submission win for Ogre Treestump...(SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT AWARD)
265 lbs Kirill Koltsov vs Pangare Sertao This was a very good fight between two up and coming fighters ,both man are strikers but very diferent strikers and we saw that in this fight ...Sertao was the bigger and most agresive fighter, he try to use He's superior boxing skills and size advantage to bully Koltsov but those tactics were expected and Koltov the smaller fighter with a very good game plan ,he stayd on the outside and counter with around 80% power 20% precision and he targeted the body like if thare was a bulls eye stick on it and he kept trowing the right round the house kick to the body very successfully...the acumulation of strikes started to take the tool on Sertao...and midway trough the first round he couldnt lift He's hands up,Koltson realized that and capitalized on it.....Good 1st round KO for Kirill Koltsov
155 lbs King Diamond vs Anthony Ramirez This was not the most exiting fight of the night....the was a battle of determination but we as fans would love to have seen a few more strikes into the contest....it will defenitly bring more exitment instead we had a chez game playd by 2 body builders with brains the size of peanuts....horrible technical display from both fighters...and thats not to say nothing about both fighters conditioning...specialy Ramirez...this was a long fight and i could spot a couple of fans falling asleep while watching this....on that note this fight will not be geting any glorious aclamations but King Diamond doesnt realy fuking care about that,another win and still undefeated for these 24 year old looking bright....Split Decision win for King Diamond
185 lbs Jonny Bones Junior vs Harold Armstrong After loosing He's title fight Bones seemed to have gone into meditation mode focusing entirely on hes training and on improving hes game...and he put on a brave and dominat performance to brush aside this first oponent after that loss...he looked in shape focus and showd hes high level acuracy rate on strikes landed,that was the big factor on this fight ,he was finding the target pretty well and when a guy that hit has hard has he does hits the target that many times you know what the results going to be ....you will eventualy get knock the fuck out....thts what happend here...to win these fight i think he should have been more agressive and work more, but hes easy to sit here and say he should have done this or he should have done that....he was the one maning up and steping up in there and he was the one feeling the power from Bones....then after clearly taking the first round he gave us the highlight reel upercut that send Harold flying to the matt....2nd round KO win for Jonny Bones Junior ....
205 lbs Artur Syrowatka vs Victor Champ Artur has been working on hes strenght and conditionin with hes childhood idol,Mariuz Pujanosky a multi times world stronghest man winner....and put power togheter with good boxing skills and thats the product of it an absolute bazuca on hes hands....if he hits you you fall simple has that...i never seen a fight that last 16 seconds with so much blood, Artur wanted to dig a hoole on Victors face...DAAMMMMM......1st round KO win for Artur Syrowatka(KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD)
265+ lbs Iconic Fuhkup vs Harry Potter I mean Iconic looks and is tuff as nails ...this "caveman" with ninja like flexibility and looked like a jaguar stalking hes pray and then moving in for the kill at lightning speed ,acurate precision and thundering power on those low kicks....hes kicks had the efect of an axe choping down hes oponent from the bottom until he delivered the killer blow ,chin to the temple...nite nite irene...Beauthifull highlight reel high kick 1st round KO
145 lbs Asato Mikio vs Tristan Salifu The youngest fighter looked the most experienced aswell..Asato at only 18 years of age is one of the promotions superstars on the making...he clearly won all 3 rounds ,mixing up hes striking with beauthifull punch kick combinations....as i said he looks very experienced for hes age and hes being managed by a top class manager...so after wining a decision here these young man will be looking to keep hes feet on the ground and keep working on hes skills and hoopfully for him he will be working hes way up in the rankings and get that title shoot....i dont think hes ready to take on the champ yet but he will in no time if he keeps improving the way he has done lattley...hes oponent on these one was not the strongest either phisicly or mentaly he looks like a "hommless"fighter a true journey man and for that reason he was realeased by hes manager and is now a FA,doubt anyone will want to have something to do with this one...well fought decision win for Asato Mkio
170 lbs Savannah White vs Thomas Kirkland I have a feeling Kirkland will realy feel hard done by the judges decision...well he should...was an apauling dcision and the Island state comission should be ashamed for providing such poor judges to our event ,...this was not the best fight we ever seen but it was not the worse neither,both young man came up and fought bravely but in my eyes Kirkland took the first and second rounds scoring more take downs and causing some considerable damage with ground and pound...even on the stand up he was the most eficient fighter specialy with hes striking defence...those judges must have been smoking crack....but thats why they say "dont leave it to the judges" ....shamefull decision win for Savannah White
