LIGHTWEIGHT FIGHT: Luke Dawson (2-1) vs. Paul Lennon (2-1)
Both men are coming off a KO win with a bit of hype behind them, earning them a spot in the co-main event of DFC 3.
Luke Dawson is coming off a unexpected highlight worthy head kick KO win over Lucas Kanchelski. We saw from previous fights, that Dawson almost never even tries to throw a punch or two which will help his opponents in predicting his gameplan. However, Dawson has been seen drilling boxing tehniques every day at Barbell Brigade gym, trying to fix the obvious hole he has in his skill set. He has also been noted to have a good gas tank, doing more sparring rounds than most of the fighters at Barbell Brigade.
And the man who will be standing across Luke Dawson in the cage on March 19th is no one other than Paul Lennon! Coming off an impressive one punch knockout win in his DFC debut it looks like Lennon has his eyes on that Lightweight belt and is slowly climbing up the ladder to get it. He has shown power and self-confidence in his fights, always looking to brawl and knock his opponents lights out, and he will most likely be looking to do just that against Dawson, but the question is, can his chin withstand the power of the head kicks if Luke manages to catch him with one? We will have to find out the answer to that on March 19th! Make sure to show up!
