ISLAND MADNESS from the Hard Knocks brought to you the best and most vicious fighters in the island....this spartan minded warriors allways bring it and this time was no diferent....in front of a very loud crowd these fighters brought drama and exitment in a night that will be remembered by the way Island FC organized the walk ins...fighters walk into the cage carring the flags of their own countrys....and some very famous and iloustrious island celebritys were there and there is a rumour that big underworl bets were made with milions of $ flowing heavyly..

..now let me break it down for you:

205 lbs TITLE FIGHT Martyn Ford vs Darth Sidious   (SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT AWARD)

This was for the lightheavyweight belt and our HOF champ did what was expected from him...the champion is a very good wrestler with strong chin with very good ground control and balanced agression.

..he came into the fight with the clear game plan of trying to take the fight to the ground....he was right about that , Sidious has some nasty power on those hands so standing and exange was never the plan for Ford...

.he kept on the outside for most of the time trying to avoid the damage but was being targeted by the contender quiet often and the takedowns where being stuffed  so he showd good adjustment judgment and instigated the clinch from where he slowed the pace down and then pull guard..

..the crowd cheered lowdly as soon as the champion took the fight to the ground ,they knew the end was coming soon, and they where absolutly right....

.Sidious still managed to stuffed a few submission attempts but eventualy our HOF ,top submission game shined and he secured the triangle from the bottom guard....good Submission 1st round win for Martyn Ford

135 lbs Mark Corden vs Just Islander

In here we had the "tinnie"man contest this two promissing bantmweight have two very diferent aproaches to the game...Mark is the better stand up fighter hes exelent MT togheter with hes strenght ,specialy in the clinch, makes him a very dangerous man indeed but now put that togheter with a 3 fight wining streak and you have a very confident fighter with hes mind set on geting the belt.....

he looked extremly confident,in the first round showing good escapes and transitions when he was taken down, this was probably the closest round ...in the second he displayd some very good take down defence and bossed procedures...the third round started and we were set for another dominant round for Mark, but when he managed to land that big right hand, was the bigining of a brutal end for Just Islander, Corden didnt rush in he picked hes shots well and put the fight to bed with class.....perfect 3rd round KO for Mark Corden

185 lbs Andy Fitzgerald vs Aidan Kincaid   (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT AWARD)

In this middleweight contest we had one fighter trying to "kill" and another trying to survive....Aidan was on papper the superior striker but he was completly out striked and was looking caught by surprise by the agressivity of hes oponent....Andy came in like a man on a mission and that mission was, seek and destroy...he hunted Aidan down with hes brawling style and briliant striking defence,he clinched whenever he had a chance and from the clinch he absolutly "murder" Aidan ....i give it up for Aidan staying in the contest for so long but he was completly utclassed here,he won every round until that razor sharp elbow took from Andy what he had left and hes legs gave up on him....dominant 3rd round TKO win for  Andy Fitzgerald

265 lbs Wooden Stick vs Simbo Klice

Stick scored hes first Island fc win here ,it was third time lucky for this fighter....he came in well prepared and with a game plan that game plan worked to prefection and he scored a quick first round finish over this dangerous oponent....Simbo was allways going to come agressivly and this time was no diferent ...that leaves him a bit vulnerable in the grapling exanges in the floor against a superior BJJ fighter.....Stick knew that and it seemed to instigate the takedown clever move from a fighter trying to get hes record straight...a rematch with one of the two fighters he lost to a possibility.....quick 1st round submission win for Wooden Stick

205 lbs John Bravo vs Alex Cirkunov

I will not call these type of fights anymore...i think the programers should do something about it and improve the fighters syntectic inteligence to adjust better on this kind of fights....i mean you get a well set up wrestler with good takedow and submissions and thats it...the rules allways favour graplers...but to read the coment on this fight makes me question the autentacy level and reality accuracy of this game...i tought it was impecable until i start reviewing fights and coming across this type of fights more and more.....just do nothing else but attempt submissions and you will be alright..bad fight bad 1st round submission

135 lbs Issumatar Tariaksuq vs Marcus Gracie

This was arguably the best fight of the night  but fighters showed pride and determination in a fight filled with drama  and exitment...when it started we all tought it was not going to last long but how wrong we were....as soon as the fight starte Issumatar landed the father of all head kicks droping Gracie to the matt, but he showd great composure when hurt and got right back to hes feet , Issumatar used very well hes kicks specialy the leg kicks those were hurting and distracting Gracie and he use them to set up those head kicks dropindg Gracie down for the second time in the first...

.in the second round another dominante one for Issumatar he cut Gracie with an elbow in the bigining of the round and droped him once again with another head kick those were hiting flush....Gracie was lucky hes corner let him out for the third i personaly belive the fighters safety first, but he came out and was hes best round of them all he managed to stay on hes feet and avoid the head kicks ,Issumatar looked content to let the round pass by after all that kicking hes energy level was pretty low...and to avoid any surprises he stalled and controled the clinch for the intire round.....exelent decision win for Issumatar Tariaksuq

155 lbs Richard Machan vs Nathan Diaz

In this fight we had in one side Machan, a small  wrestler with a strong chin and amazing ground and pound, and in the other side,Diaz, we had the bigger fighter with exelent submission skills and ko power...the fight started with Diaz conecting and making hes oponent feel hes power what made him shoot for the takedown and geting it falling into side control he dominated landing big shots in the ground and pound while defending well some counter submission attempts from a superior BJJ fighter...good 1st round TKO

170 lbs Jim Ryun vs Askles Garcia
Both this young man with very similar styles of fighting and tactics ....it was good and bad at the same time ...we watch some of the most apauling technic attempts by both fighters ....but we saw some very good mental attributes regarding determination and toughness...the fight went all the way to a close decision where Jim got the nod deservidly so....he just out worked Garcia everywhere the fight went....in the second he did got cut but kept hes cool and kept focus on the game plan.....Good Decision win for Jim Ryun

205 lbs Pandy Gou vs Walter White Iv   (KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD)

Pandy Gou is a very well looked after Step Stone LOD fighter he looked great in this fight and the fans loved hes gladiator aproach to fighting ...hes the ultimate toe to toe warrior, a cardio machine with exelente boxing....he has a very elusive and sniper like style with stinging counter strikes he subdued hes oponent with the acumulation of damage inside just one round....the sky is the limite for this fighter and i think he will be heading a card anytime sone giving hes popularity with the fan, White try hes best to stay in the fight but hes confidence was quickly droping after every shot absorved, and mentaly i think he was not in the right place to take on this kind of oponent....Impressive 1st round TKO win  Pandy Gou

145 lbs Patrick Bullar vs George Murray
This was a very ,very good tactical fight between two of the most unexperiente fighters in the rooster....George looks very experient for hes age and hes skills look like they coming to place but hes still a work in process i think, and he as a lot of growing to do still...saying that he looks like a youngster with tremendous potential and i belive this  was not the last time  we hear from him,but in this particular fight he was outmatch i think, Patrick was the older fighter with better sklls and hes take down defence was unpregnable , he took charge of the fight and fought it in wherever conditions he wanted to...he imposed hes will on hes oponent and controled the cage with hes inteligent movement and footwork.....he couldnt get the finish not due to imcompetace but due to hes oponent resistence....deserved decision win for Patrick Bullar

This was all from me and the crew we wish you all good luck and  preparation for the upcoming events...WHO NECKS!?...WHO NECKS!?...
