#1 Question: Welcome to GAMMA! One fight and already a champion! Did you expect to pull of such a huge win in your first fight?
Fabian Hoi : Well, to be honest, I was. Prado is one hell of a champion, but I know that if I can KO Lil Wayne, that I can KO anyone. I studied my opponent very well and knew that I had the power and skills to get the job done. But let it be clear, Prado is a beast and I respect him a lot. His manager is a superfirendly guy and one hell of a manager. It feels great to become the champ. I love wearing those shiny belts!
The only thing that surpised me is how early I finished him.
#2 Question: You managed to win both the GAMMA and Syn titles at the age of 29y, how does the achievement feel?
Fabian Hoi: Feels like more is to follow. I'm still young enough to achieve more big goals. I want to achieve big things ; become top 10 p4p fighter and beat as many legends as possible One name is on my radar bigtime, the toughest guy to beat besides Lil Wayne, Connemara. I have mad respect for the guy but would love to test myself against him one day. I believe I can KO him as well.
#3 Question: Lukasz Wolek recently got promoted from the GAMMA: Contenders and said he can take on anyone in the division, what do you have to say about that?
I like the smell of ambition in the morning but I prefer coffee. All jokes aside, the guy is a great talent, but he'll need to improve still if he ever hopes to beat me. I don't mess around. For him I might be an old guy, but anyone that takes me lightly is retarded.
#4 Question: In the past your manager mentioned that you hate trilogies, what do you have to say about that?
Yeah, they don't make much sense to me, at least not all after eachother. I am glad I fought Lil Wayne 3 times, but would have prefered to get another fight in between. If I beat Prado again, there shouldn't be any chance of another trilogy, so all I have to do is go in there and take out the beast again. He is an amazing fighter, but so am I . My confidence is at an all-time high after proving to be a difficult challenge for any top 145lbs fighter in the world. My power is unmatched at this weight. Page is probably the only one coming a little bit close, but he hasn't KO'd the level of guys that I have.
