Revolution Island FIGHT NIGHT preview

Hey what's up Island people! Here is Mister Victorio...what? Who the heck is this guy? Excuse me, I am Jay Tycoon's special agent. So...are you more familiar of me now? Thanks!

Don't get me wrong, I am actually a writer who earned some respect outside The Island. May I get some too here for writing the preview for FIGHT NIGHT on 3rd October?

Highlighted by two title fights, this event would be the biggest event in Revolution Island. But first of all we have a LHW bout to start it off:

Michael Quincy vs Konstantin Zuev

Two LHW warriors are clashing with their palms sweaty, arms heavy and mom's spaghetti...what? Yeah who isn't nervous to get the first win here? Michael Quincy unfortunately lost his Revolution Island debut by first round submission. As a wrestleboxer with decent power, he's unable to handle Brooks Sumner, the BJJ purple belt grappler's aggressive guard game. Quincy's elementary ground fighting ability will let him think twice before he wants to take the fight to the clinch against grapplers. Anyway, he ain't fighting a grappler. His opposition Konstantin Zuev is a very good boxer who's making his Revolution Island debut. Displaying his accurate and busy head hunting approach in his lone win, Zuev will try to bring his volume in practice again to dash Quincy's hope to get a win here. To my knowledge, Quincy has more power and "clinch and break" gimmick, Zuev has better boxing and more workrate. If somebody pointing a gun in my head, I am picking my alliance member's Quincy by Unanimous Decision. Call me biased!

Next fight is also a LHW matchup, let's see what we got!

Daichi Nomura vs Dexter Frazier

This matchup features two 1-0 LHW warriors who are looking promising. Basically it's a Venetta vs LOD deathmatch! Daichi Nomura, Mr Wolf's protégé, must be very proud of being the double #1's representative in Island. Nomura is also proud of his BJJ skills as he tapped out his poor victim in 26 seconds for his Revolution Island debut. For sure he will be trying to get a quick paycheck again against Gabe Gardner's Dexter Frazier. Perhaps a long lost descendant of Smoking Joe Frazier, this man packs some power of his punches, highlighted with his outstanding boxing. This is a contrasting matchup and I sense a quick finish happening in Nomura side. Since wrestling is big part of the game and Nomura is one slick individual, I can see him bringing Vendetta the bacon.

Ping! Ping! Ping! What noise is it? Oh those big boys from SHW are coming!

Harambe Blackman vs Walter Sobchak

Does somebody's name sound familiar? Is Harambe relive as a human form? No, stop dreaming. Harambe Blackman is actually a gorilla though, standing 5'11" and weigh 300 lbs. This big mofo is a very good wrestler with nice boxing. In his lone MMA win he took the fight to the clinch and snatching his victim's body like crazy, leading a third round stoppage. This mofo will use his size to frustrate you, then take your energy and finally get the job done, so the smaller man Walter Sobchak must be careful while trying to gun down Harambe....oops. Sobchak is a wrestleboxer with a granite chin, they said. He's able to showcase his accurate boxing, quick takedowns and pinpoint GnP to win his lone fight by UD. While Harambe is a clinch machine, Sobchak seems like he can get the advantage in two areas. But Harambe is a better boxer and wrestler, his size also helps so I favor him. I am picturing Harambe handling Sobchak like that lucky kid.

After those three fights which feature bigger warriors, in the forth fight we have two FWs colliding!

Bosco Green vs Dylan Blake

Both men look promising for me. First of all, this Bosco Green guy is green...bad joke huh? Yeah that's true he's 1-0 and his win is in Revolution Island. Despite being a wrestler with useless striking skills as he said, Green actually knocked his opp out with a brutal multi-punch combo. This green guy gets some hands huh. Opposite of him we have Dylan Blake aka The Head Hunter is 3-0 in his career. Having solid boxing and BJJ blue belt, he has showcased his all rounded game by scoring 2 (T)KOs and 1 submission victories. Even though the competition isn't pretty, a win is a win buddy and he has three wins so don't take them away. If Green is smart, he will be trying to take Blake down but we all know Green has Bjorn O'Donnel as his brain so I don't think he will be trying to land those combos against a boxer like Blake. I am picking Green since he looks more promising than Blake in my less than humble opinion. God knows what Bjorn is doing the gameplanning but I just think Green will win, period.

Midway point of the card...what the hell is midway point of the card. Fuck it. We have two BWs who are looking juicy......what.

Guillermo Pecilli vs Emmitt Brown Jr

Juicy is not the word, more like promising. Look at this Pecilli kid, 4-0 in Island is quite badass. He's making his Revolution Island debut with this record, for sure he will make many BWs crap their pants. As a Muaythai wrestler, he's more like a clinch fighter who ignores kicking. He's very dangerous in the clinch, aim to wreck all over his foe's head and body with his punches and elbows. For sure he will pose a big threat to Emmitt Brown Jr who is a 25 year old gray haired, old looking man. He is also a Muaythai wrestler who won his Revolution Island debut in his last outing which he dirty boxed the shit out of Phil Morris and finished him in first round. This fight will be mostly taken place at close quarters with both men beating the living crap out of eachother. Wait...let me flip the coin to decide the winner. Pecilli is head and Brown Jr is tail. Ding!  Head.

Next fight we have two stylish, good looking, funky, whatever you call them, LW warriors battling their hair style!

Bob Shimmy vs Rod Stiffington

Damn, long hair vs afro. I think this fight will go to barbers scorecards not judges. Bad joke again. Bob Shimmy is the one with long hair who is 4-0. As a guy who looks like this he's a very good boxer with nice wrestling. He seems like a crafty guy who won his debut by spinning shit. Not only spinning shit, seems like he loves dirty shit too as he's pretty good in the clinch, using his hair to smother his opponents and punch them in the face. His TDD is also airtight enough to keep him undefeated. Talking about undefeated, this Rod Stiffington guys is 1-0 and his afro is outstanding. Looking like a gay disco club member, he's a very good wrestler without a reason. How can this guy good at wrestling and GnP? I suggest him to go back to disco club and find himself. Jokes aside, I think Shimmy will dominate standup and clinch area while Stiffington will be dominant on the ground. Since I prefer long hair than afro, I think Shimmy will win.

After those smaller guys having their business done, why don't we just go back to those big boys? Look at those HW monster!

Monarch Program vs Tommy Rosario

I don't know a program can fight but fuck it. This Program guy isn't a programmer or something, he's a fighter with 1-0 record. As a decorated wrestler with good Muaythai, he's a very, very busy fighter who throws shitloads of body punches on the feet and even more punches in the clinch. He's a type of guy who just wearing you down until you go all sweaty, your arms are heavy and mom's spaghe...sorry. Do you think his counterpart Tommy Rosario can handle this? Rosario is not bad at all, he's another guy of Bjorn O'Donnel and riding a two fight win streak. He's a Muaythai machine with good kickboxing fundamentals and slicing elbows with stunning power. I think Rosario should be trying to kickbox Program at the distance to maximize his advantage but I still think both guys will be fighting anywhere since they are strikers without fear. This is gonna be a high volume fight with lots of damage done in both sides but I can see Rosario comes out as a victor because he has more weapons.

Next one won't disappoint! Why? You dumbass, don't you see it's a SHW title fight between these two badasses?

Macho Man vs Pau Blanxart

This is a vacant title fight with two brand new additions to Revolution Island. You can't blame them being the challengers because the division is quite new and shallow. And hey why don't we just enjoy two 2-0 big boys contending for the crown? The throne should be tailor made for them though because they are enormous as they are combined 580 lbs heavy. Macho Man is a boxing expert with two early first round TKO victories under his belt. He can strike at distance and in the clinch with cutting punches. This mofo will just cut your face open and put you down in your ass. On the other hand, Pau Blanxart is a guy who will put people down n their ass but with takedowns. He's a decent wrestler with BJJ purple belt who has dangerous submission and cutting elbows from dominant position. While Macho Man showed off his dominance, Blanxart showed his heart in his wins. He got cut in the jaw in his first MMA fight but he scored a quick takedown and tapped his foe out. He showed an even bigger heart in his last fight which he got knocked down hard but he got up, took his opp down and cut his face with brutal GnP. This fight must be interesting as both men will use their strength to nullify eachother. Macho Man has the power but Blanxart's heart is undeniable. Since wrestling plays a big role and Blanxart is a better wrestler, he will dictate the place by scoring a quick takedown and finish it off early to become the champ.

Another title fight is up for the co-headliner! This time is in LW division. It's also a vacant title fight between two really good prospects:

Anthony Pettis vs Anthony Jay Bronie

Anthony vs Anthony ladies and gentlemen! I think Anthony is going to win this one. Period.

Just kidding guys. But hey both men really have something in common: they both named Anthony, they are both undefeated and they both have hair. Pettis is a wrestleboxer with 3-0 record. He won his last fight and FOTN award by outpointing Eddie Alverez which he let Alverez paid for getting in close with him. Alverez got the clinch early in each round but Pettis showed no respect and outbox him there. Why is the real life completely opposite? I mean...Alvarez outclinched Pettis in real life. Bullshit aside, Pettis will be no doubt trying to win inside the clinch but this stylish individual won't let it happen. Anthony Jay Bronie, should I call him A.J.B.? This man has an awesome name and a pair of long hair sliding all the way down to his shoulders. He's 2-0 and he's a competent wrestler and has a BJJ purple belt. His favorite move is: making people tap with most ways possible. He armbared his first victim and made his second victim tapped from strikes. What a badass he is. With all the wins inside Revolution Island banner, this man will be very, very confident and appealing in the cage. I believe Pettis will be more than comfy in standup and clinch while A.J.B. will have the upper hand on the mat. I don't think A.J.B. has good enough wrestling to threaten Pettis so I think Pettis will be crowned.

If you ask me why is this non-title fight a headliner not the last two, I can tell you you are stupid. This fight is between a LOD fighter and arguably the most experienced Island fighter so how can't this one be headlining?

Tyler Jensen vs Masaaki Kanagawa

This fight takes place in LHW division and both guys have combined 9 fights in Island, that's a lot so far! Tyler Jensen is 3-0 with LOD aura around him. He's a Muaythai wrestler who loves his kicks and dirty boxing. His punching power is pretty good and he usually using his kicks to set up his punches. His striking was beautifully displayed in his last fight for Revolution Island debut as he scored a first round TKO. As an undefeated prospect, he will be confronting the biggest test in his career. Masaaki Kanagawa is a chinese with Japanese name. There must be Som Ting Wong. He has 6 fights in Island and won 5 of them. Having fun in QFC, he will be step up to the headliner of Revolution Island, how lucky. Kanagawa is a high level boxer with decent wrestling who has really impressive KO power which granted him 5 finishes including one superman punch KO. He finished all of his foes in first round but can they really get out of first round? I don't think so. Somebody is gonna get hurt real bad. If my head had gun pointed again, I would pick Kanagawa since he's more experienced, has more power and......I don't know, fuck it.

So hey guys this is the preview of Revolution Island's upcoming event - FIGHT NIGHT. Don't forget to tune in on 3rd October! I hope you Island folks like my preview, don't boo me because hey, I am Jay Tycoon's special agent. Show some respect.
