 Vicious Fights, Fighting Organization founded by Scott Campbell in Helsinki. It was known for tough fights and great shows, before Scotty decided to drop division and focus on tournaments - European Premier League and K-1 European Grand Prix.
EPL Season 1 and 2 build respect and fame of that tournament, and currently we are running Season 3 of it, where 14 fighters compete in 2 x 5 minutes rounds fight, to determine who will advance to the next round. K-1 Grand Prix finally has a second run as well - with the best kickboxers fighting in Finland under VF's banner.
Recently it was revealed that Scott Campbell, Chairman and COO of VF, thinks about creating entire Openweight K-1 division, to create place for best kickboxers not only in Europe, but in the whole world. As we know, there is not a lot of organizations that hold regular K-1 events, so VF tries to help this awesome striking-only combat sport to grow. It’s second edition of it, and probably it’s not last one.
Few weeks ago Scott hired young manager - Chris Garcia - who is responsible for regular division. Under his power Lightweights, Welterweights, Middleweights, Light Heavyweights and recently added – Featherweights and Heavyweights, have a place to fight, to earn respect and collect experience. He decided to sign new fighters, to give them a chance and good start in their careers. He is also Chief Marketing Officer, taking care of promoting events, doing Press Conferences and speaking with media.
Standard fight in VF’s regular division is 3 x 5 minutes round with 10 points must score system, which provide fair fights and unanimous winner. Title fights are 5 x 5 minutes, also with 10 points must score system.
Promotion holds their events in Helsinki, without plans to expand their fame to other cities. Currently ranked as 8th promotion in Helsinki and 68th in the world.
