IFC

ISLAND FC, Fight Organization, The Island
Company profile by El Jarmas Rodrigues "AKA" Mamado

IFC Beaware will be our third event of the season with most fighters still very green in terms of experience but good stints of briliance from some fighters in some fights ......the better the divisions are geting in terms of quality the more fighters will grow and learn....IFC keeps coming back season after season giving alll managers the chance of living a very exiting experience of 6 long months, the season will have ups and downs for everone .....

if there was a manager skill set for managers i would say big heart , experienced and most important IRON CHIN....because you will "get tag" you just need to take it on the chin and hold your ground......Sponsored by After School Syndicate  and working togheter with Gizmo Gym to provide the best possible training......Any manager reading this preview ,i just want you guys to know about our 145lbs division , this is a under 18  division where the fighters will be given 1 month to train from the moment you sign with us....the beneficts are obvious....

  Main Event
205 lbs  3  5  Light Heavyweight v Eugeniy Petrov 1-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  1-0-0 (0 NCs)
Light Heavyweight is quiet short for hes weight class but this small fella has a deadly right hand....i mean he packs a punch and he proved that on hes last fight, wich was hes first, very heavy and solid shots from the clinch, where the 25 year old dominated hes oponent from the clinch.....

hes fighting style is like one of a pit bull ,very tough ,this brawler will get the paramedics on standby every time he will step into the cage, thats a guarantee....he will be facing the 25 year old Russian grapler ,Petrov.....Petrov won hes debut fight showing to know hes strenghts and use them well....he has basic striking and a solid chin but after the last fight we know whats coming in hes fights, he will only use hes striking as a distracting tool, very agressive  trowing heavy leather (wich expose him greatly to be counter) he keep moving forward until he can get the fight to the ground.....with good takedowns he will find it easy with most island oposition once the fight hits the ground......

Co-Main
135 lbs  3  5  Jose Pacheco v Indigo Myles  1-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-1-0 (0 NCs)
The 25 year old spaniad Pacheco, had a dominant display on hes debut fight ,but, he got rocked badly on the third and could have been a completly diferente result if he couldnt keep composure the way he did ,he showed amazing heart and determination all the way trough and thats why the judges favoured him on the score cards .....this brawler has a brown belt in BJJ and will be a dangerous contender in this division ,now hes facing the 19 year old american fighter Indigo, i dont think Indigo will win this one , he has obvious holes in hes ground game and lacks the wrestling to avoid being taken down....i think this will end in a quick first round submission if that doesnt happen Indigo will be the winner in my eyes...

    265 lbs  3  5  Heavy Weight v Miguel Fernandez 1-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  1-0-0 (0 NCs)

This heavyweight bout will bring face to face 2 unbeaten fighters ,both won their professional debut....Heavyweight ,yeah thats is name, hes a trademark ,Drago Lab , hes a brawler with a granite chin and has good wrestling wich will able him to keep this fight standing ,probably pressing hes oponent against the fence and press him relentlessly...for that to happen he will have to get trough Miguel very dangerous hands, the 25 year old Cuban fighter, hes an exelente boxer with serious power in hes hands....he moves forward and trows precise punches wich overwelm hes oponent and open hes defences until one of those sniper like shots hits the sweet spot.....will be a tactical battle and the best adaptable fighter will take it....

135 lbs  3  5  Jay Gay v Duxney Pierda 0-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-1-0 (0 NCs)

This bantamweight bout between this two fairly  unexperienced 25 year olds, both fighters prety tall for this weight class ,but both with very distinct skills....Piedra made hes professional debut with IFC ,loosing hes fight by decision ....it was a fight where he got dominated for most of the fight but hes oponent defenitly felt hes power ,out of the blue he nearly ko hes oponent out in the third round, so i guess Jay will have to be very carefull with hes chin....the 25 year old English fighter hes making hes debut here ,not much data to recall ,but rumour has it that hes a good striker, so i guess he will keep it standing and trade shots, just the way we like.....ultimatley ,this fight, will go down to the fighter with the best gameplan......

265 lbs  3  5  Gustavo Pereira v Alex Kruger 0-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-0-0 (0 NCs)

In this heavyweight bout we have two fighters debuting their careers....in one side we have the 25 year old Brazilian Gustavo whos an exelente grapler with a brown belt in BJJ....never saw him fighting but judging on hes skill set ,its easy to realize what it will be hes game plan...drive trough with a powerfull takedown and work hes way into a position that will allow him to finish the fight by submission....facing him will be Alex ,who has remarkable MT skills and hes a good wrestler too, im prety sure he will try  clinch hes oponent and unleash hell upon him, must be very carefull ,not to be over agressive otherwise he will be easily taken down and if that happens he will go from favourite to massive underdog in a split of a second....

  265+ lbs  3  5  Khamed Al Khabbib v Jay Dilla 0-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-0-0 (0 NCs)

Khamed did well in hes professional debut winning hes bout via submission with 1 minute to go in the fight.....he was loosing the fight until ,with 1 minute to go, he pulled an amazing armbar and made hes oponent tap....hes granite chin got him trough the first two rounds and hes amazing grapling skills gave him this win, but for me was hes heart that was in clear evidence on that ocasion....now hes facing the 24 year old Finish fighter ,wich is a very complete martial artist at this level but unfortunatly we dont have much to call, hes only making hes professional debut now , this will be a very tough debut bout but at least he will know what to expect from hes oponent.....

  205 lbs  3  5  George Baker v Clinchimus Maximus 0-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-0-0 (0 NCs)

Well im not going to wast much time with 2 fighters yet to debut, all i can say is that they are very evenly matched , but in my opinion, remember i know nothing about this 2 guys ,but i think Clinchimus will make hes name justice and clinch rape the living shit of George...

  205 lbs  3  5  Wee Man v Merk Wipper 2-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-1-0 (0 NCs)

Even thoe Merk lost hes debut , i think he has a big chance of winning this one right here....he will be facing a fighter with a very good submission game ,with two wins under hes belt ,but he still unexposed and Merk will try to exploit that and the obvious route to the win will be avoid the takedown at all costs....Wee has been flawless and stands at the top of the p4p IFC list, season just started but it started realy well for this young man....

135 lbs  3  5  Genkis Patel v Joseph Jacobs 3-1-0 (0 NCs)                                  1-0-0 (0 NCs)    Genkis has a fuked up wierd personality, some say , Hes a crossing between a dwarf and a racon....anyway, fighting wise hes the most experienced fighter in the organization and has a prety good record winning 3 of hes 4 fights, prety evely matched with hes oponent for this bout this will be a battle for distance for sure ,Patel will try to close the distance and work hes game from close quarters and Jacobs will try to stay at bay and work hes wonderfull boxing and heavy hands....intriguing contest between two division contenders......

  185 lbs  3  5  Robert Hurt v Mitsuo Yoshida  0-0-0 (0 NCs)                                  0-0-0 (0 NCs)

This will be a bout resembling world war 2 rivaleries , in one side we have the 25 year old American Robert whos a very good wrestler and the Japanese boxer Mitsuo whos a very dangerous submission artist too...Both fighters debuting here so we wish them well and we hope they put up a good fight for the fans.....
