Brunno Falcone Returns to Training Fighters

About Me: Brunno Falcone

Brunno Falcone, the enigmatic Italian MMA fighter manager has returned after protracted absence from the scene. He had, at one time, been ranked as high as 67th place in the world among managers and he seemed poised to climb to prominence in the world of MMA until he suddenly disappeared from the public eye. His fight organization, Armageddon Fight Promotions, closed their doors and his Alliance, the Evil Empire, disintegrated. It was as if he had died or dropped off the face of the Earth. He was totally incommunicado. Now, it seems, he has risen like a phoenix from the ashes of his own MMA Empire to reemerge on the scene. His return has not exactly been a triumphant one, and it is clear that he has plenty of ring rust himself. He has only had two of his fighters even have fights so far and they both lost, but he has reopened the Evil Empire, although only he is a member at present, and he reopened the Stark Slugger Society gym which had changed hands long before he had disappeared. He does seem to have some mysterious benefactors, however, seeing as his bank account has swelled without apparent source, which has lead to more speculation as to the source of his funding. We had the opportunity to sit down with Brunno to ask a few questions of the aging fight manager to see if he can shed some light into the dark corners of his public life.

When asked about his absence, he only had this to say, in his thick Bronx accent, “Well, I been gone for a long time as yous knows already. I had plenty of problems what I hadda deal wit. My wife suddenly passed away of a heart attack and dat devastated me, see? I lost most interest in doing dis what wit her death and dat. We was married for tirty years. As a result of my loss my own health got real bad, capish? So between da depression an health issues, I hadda drop out of da limelight. My brudda, Bobby, finally got me ta get back on da horse, as dey say.”

When asked about his influx of money, Brunno only had this to say. “I still gots me some friends out der. Deys was real happy ta sees me return to da scene, and dey helped me out getting started back up. I had some money left from before to yous know. As far as who dey is or whatever? Faggetaboutit.”

So, as enigmatic as ever, Brunno Falcone makes his return to the MMATycoon world. We wish him luck, and our condolences. Any speculation about his alleged affiliation and friendships with known underworld figures is met with stony silence or angry outbursts from Falcone. Despite the fact that his record indicates that he served time for involuntary manslaughter in his youth in what has long been suspected to have been mob related, nothing can be proven and Brunno remains tight lipped on the subject.
