 Daredevils MMA of Amsterdam returns to the Land of the Rising Sun on March 16, 2018 with an exciting card of up and comers, title challengers, and a Heavyweight Championship fight. The main card is sure to excite the fans and have them prepared for the showdown of shoguns. The first main fight is a title eliminator fight between Super Heavyweights David Cerrone (11-3-1) vs. Lucio Francisco "Jurupari" Carmo (6-2). Both Giants are riding a two fight win streak and look to make an impression for their chance to fight for the title next. Both have supreme skills as it will come down to execution of strategy to become the victor. The second fight is Murha Pate (16-3) vs. Leif "The Viking" Erikson (11-8) at 205 lbs. Pate is clearly the favorite, having won eight straight victories before he fell short in his title fight against Harold Nicolas. He is highly ranked (292 p4p) and has a strong stand up with lethal kicks as well as an olympic pedigree ground game. Somewhat surprised at his opponent, Erikson is still young and learning and has faced top division talents like Xafan Kong and Frank N. Stein, he has had tons of experience already and is not afraid to make a name for himself against Pate. The Co-Main Event is another title eliminator fight at 185 lbs with Junkyard "JYD" Dog (16-8) vs. Dean "The Bounty Hunter" Wesson (14-9). Both fighters are ranked under 600 p4p. Wesson is riding a three fight streak while Dog has won his last two fights. Dog has finished his opponents with strikes while Wesson has taken all three by decisions. Total opposites in strategy as well with Dog being the dominate striker and Wesson the dominate grappler, and classic example of early mma match ups right there. Finally, for the DARE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP of the World, we have the Champion Larry "The Butcher" Shreve Jr (18-2) vs. Former Kamikaze Heavyweight Champion Hulk "PyroManiac" Butane (6-3). The Champion making his second defense of the title will look to displace the newly signed Butane. Experience, World Class Muay Thai, Great Wrestling, and the best damn heavyweight yoga practictioner in the world, Shreve Jr has it all and is ranked (67 p4p) in the world.This is a huge mountain to overcome for the challenger that has a three fight win streak with two by knockouts all while polishing off his shiny title belt. Will Butane now entertain his Japanese fans in attendance and shock the world, or will "The Butcher" carve out his legacy even more in this epic showdown.
