MAIN CARD
Middleweight bout
Braxxton Triggs (1-0-0) vs Tomo Jr (1-0-0)
Two young talents will be making their first IXF debut after each winning in the QFC. They both scored a quick finish in their wins. Triggs is a boxer/wrestler fighter while Tomo Jr. is a pure ground fighter.
As of now, it isn't evident who will win but Tomo will have the slight advantage on morale as Triggs keeps training in the Cozad gym.
Key Areas:
Standup vs ground

Prediction:
Tomo by 1st round submission
Lightweight bout
Hwai Ja (4-1-0) vs Mark Henderson (3-1-0)
Hwai Ja was formerly a fighter in the IFC, now he takes his talents to IXF as he climbs up the fighter rankings. He will be facing the BJJ brown belt Mark Henderson. Ja is a very strong standup fighter. With his boxing and clinchwork mixed with his KO power, he's had 4 wins by TKO in the first round. However, Henderson can use his ground superiority given that Ja already lost to an opponent in just 18 seconds by submission.
Key Areas:
Standup vs ground
KO power vs submissions
Henderson's granite chin
Prediction:
Henderson by 1st round submission
Middleweight bout
Rob Hammond (3-0-0) vs Saffron Xanthous (2-0-0)
Two undefeated former IFC fighters go head to head as Hammond (3 wins, 3 wins by TKO) faces Xanthous (2 wins, 2 decisions). Xanthous' solid chin was proven and tested with fighters with KO power. Hammond on the other hand has KO'd some fighters with good chins. Nonetheless, they are both good standup fighters. Hammond has boxing while Xanthous has Muay Thai. Let's see who wins the striking and who wins the clinch game.
Key Areas:
Clinchwork
Power and chin
Boxing vs MT
Prediction:
Xanthous by decision
Middleweight bout
Mike Hunt (3-0-0) vs Romulo Nascimento (2-0-0)
For the second main attraction of the night, we have another set of undefeated fighters. Hunt has 3 TKOs up his sleeve when he was in the QFC. Nascimento on the other hand is a submission artist, winning both of his matches by sub (the most recent was in IXF 7). This will be your typical clinch fighter vs ground fighter. The middleweight competition is intense but one of these fighters can go for the title soon if they grab the W.
Key Areas:
Clinch vs Ground
MT vs BJJ
Hunt's KO Power
Prediction:
Nascimento by 1st round submission
MAIN EVENT
IXF Middleweight Title
Greg Bundy(3-1-0) vs Eric Alequin (2-0-0)
VS
This Sunday, we will be crowning the first ever Middleweight champion (who will surely be not taking a rest with all the middleweights aspiring to be the next champions in IXF). Greg Bundy has been on a roll winning 3 straight wins after his debut loss in the QFC. With 3 TKOs he looks to overpower Alequin who won 2 sub of the night awards in his 2 outings in the IXF. This will be Bundy's IXF debut and he was given the title shot immediately due to his intense popularity. Will Bundy get another KO win or will Alequin get another sub of the night award?
Bundy's standup game will be his key factor here, and Alequin will need a takedown to gain the upper hand.
Key Areas:
Standup vs Ground
Clinchwork vs Submissions
Bundy's KO Power and Chin
Prediction:
Alequin by 1st round submission
I know we are all excited to how IXF is growing. Keep in touch as we aim higher. Champions are filling up. Contenders are rising. IXF is ready for takeoff!
