Hello fight fans, I'm Tim Key and I'm here to welcome you all here to witness the first
show for "Showtime Promotions". The first show will brought to you live at Paddy O'Malley's
Bar in London. We would like to thank "xXx-VooDoo Labs" located in New York for helping
sponsor the event. They will be on site so feel free to pick up all your nutrional needs.
Without further ado lets get down to buisness.
MAIN CARD
MAIN EVENT
5TH BOUT/LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT
Tommy Riordan (1-0) -vs- Walter White (2-0)
These two guys are here to prove that they are the best at what they do. Tommy is just what
I would call a complete a total warrior. He will do whatever it takes to get his opponent to
the ground and just punish his opponent with as many ground strikes as it takes to finish
them off. Walter on the other hand is a former high school state wrestling champ who has
really started working on his Jiu Jitsu and loves nothing more than to take his opponent to
the ground and work for a sub. Taking the fight to the ground has worked for him in his first
two fights with a decision victory and a submission victory. Will it work for him this time,
or does he have his hands full with Tommy?
CO-MAIN EVENT
4TH BOUT/HEAVYWEIGHT
John Champman (1-0) -vs- Waleran Bigod (1-0)
John is a guy that doesn't have a lot of experience in Muay Thai, but really likes to work
his opponent over in the clinch. He seems to feel comfortable taking the fight to the ground
as he went for several takedown attempts in his first fight. He definitely has the stamina
to make this fight last the full three rounds but will he want to? William is a serious
brawler that's for sure. In his first pro fight all he did was go for the kill throwing
nothing, but head punches and putting his opponent to sleep in the third round. This fight
has the potential to be fight of the night.
3RD BOUT/MIDDLEWEIGHT
Tim Small (1-2) -vs- Chad Collins (1-0)
Tim certainly wants to keep this fight standing seeing as to how when the fight goes to the
ground he has been submitted pretty quickly. If the fight stays standing he can really put
someone to sleep with his deadly kicks. Chad is a guy who would rather take you down and
punish you with his ground and pound then work for some submissions. However he appears to
be very tired and doesn't look like he has taken the proper amount of time off from training
leading up to this fight. He either is very confident that he will win this fight very fast
or just isn't taking this fight to serious. Either way we have a classic striker versus
grappler matchup going on here.
2ND BOUT/HEAVYWEIGHT
Face Owned (1-0) -vs- Fredy Oliva (1-2)
Face loves to take the fight to the ground. He throws a tremendous amount of ground strikes
and appears to great at improving his positions while on the ground. Fredy really likes to
stay standing, but does occassionally try to take the fight to the ground to keep things
honest. He is really good a mixing up his strikes while standing. He throws more head punches
but, does throw a fair amount of body shots as well. You might even see a couple of kicks.
1ST BOUT/BANTAMWEIGHT
Avery Jackson Brown (1-0) -vs- Dougie Fredricton (0-1)
Avery is a grinder as you can see from his first pro fight. He likes to take his opponent
to the ground and just mix up head and body shots. Dougie likes to take the fight to the
ground as well. However in his first pro fight he made the mistake of taking a more decorated
Jiu Jitsu fighter to the ground and was subbed fairly quick. Now who is going to take who
down, and who will have the advantage once the fight does reach the ground.
UNDERCARD
SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT
Scott Ferozzo (0-1) -vs- Neo TT (3-3)
WELTERWEIGHT BOUT
Allen Jones (0-1) -vs- Nathan Joseph (1-0)
FEATHERWEIGHT BOUT
Seth Cohen (0-0) -vs- Frank Stewart (0-1)
HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT
Rip Taylor (0-1) -vs- Shola Ameobi (0-2)
MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT
Francis Cope (0-1) -vs- David Goliath (0-3)
Well fight fans that all I have for you tonight. I hope you've enjoyed the show and rejoin
us after the event for the review. This is Tim Key signing off saying have a good night and
see you next time.
