New Managers: Be lead to Victory

Are you struggling to find victory with your fighters? Do you feel like it is all a game of chance and there really is no secret formula to win for your fighter? Do you often feel like you have no idea what you are doing? Each Tycoon Times paper that gets published we will have an article for you here on how to improve by focusing on just one major area. Several tips and tricks from managers that have reached success and what they have seen to be the most helpful for them. We hope this series will serve you well in your managing career! 

This weeks tip: Find a Mentor

At first glance this may seem quite humbling. And honestly, it is! Just think of all the greats in your favorite sport, they all had mentors, someone to show them the ropes. If you want to have lasting success I would highly encourage you to find someone who will show you the ins and outs of this game. 

Currently there are over 100 people waiting to mentor new managers. So you wont have to wait long if you wish to be mentored. 

Now a couple of big thoughts about being mentored here and they come straight from the rules.

After you decide you want a mentor the next best thing is to choose a mentor. To do this on the right side of your screen there is a green and blue shape that is under the manila folder. Click on that and choose to apply to one of the many availble managers. Of course a manager can refuse to serve you based on many reasons so if by the off chance you do get refused do not give up! Just find another person. You will see a list of people and their skills from who you can choose from.

When the person accepts to be a mentor I personally believe it is valuable to both of you to allow them to see both your sliders for your fighters and skills for your fighter. You can check these boxes in the same page as where you selected to apply for a mentor. Listen, your mentor is going to want you to win. Don't be nervous because a win for you means they win too! 

Not only is this an oppurtunity to for you to meet someone new who is into MMA and help build the community of the game, but it is an incredbile chance for you to enjoy the game in a new and richer way.
