Wicked One - New Beginnings - Preview Show

In 2009 Robb Smith walked into the mma world as a manager for several fighters. After getting his feet wet he quickly rose from the ground to become a MMA Organization owner in London, England.  Wicked Adrenaline FC was born and began to put on blockbuster shows throughout London for the following years. In 2014 Smith sold WAFC and left the business to be a family man but he wouldn't be gone for long. In 2019 Smith reappeared on the scene this time as a manager and a gym owner. It didn't take long for him to get caught up in the sport again. Pretty soon he sold stakes of the gym and became a clothing store owner.

His store began to take off but it just wasn't close to the action that he missed so dearly. He fought the itch to start his own company but in December an opportunity came calling. A phone call that would change everything was between an Organization owner in NYC who was over his head and needed out. Robb stepped in and bought the former NY FC and rebranded it immediately to Wicked One Fights an homage to his former company.

On December 21st in NYC at the Micro Arena Wicked starts anew. The Heavyweights will be headlining a show mixed with veterans and prospects.

The Headliner

18 year old Christian " Big " B comes into his main event title fight ready to showcase his wrestling prowess. " I feel I can put him on the ground and control the fight. I want to dictate everything. I want to make a statement, a decision win on the debut show for the World Championship just won't do."

His opponent is 18 year old James Cook who comes from the republic of the Congo. Cook has an extensive amateur background in mma. Unlike his opponent he looks to keep this fight standing. " I want to make him quit, I know he won't trade punches with me because he's scared. He wants to hold me for the entirety of the fight. I am the ambassador for mma in my country, it's my duty to bring home the Championship. "

Co main event

Native New Yorker James Bud is looking to make magic in his debut. This well rounded athlete has been a QFC veteran at featherweight and he believes now is the time to turn up the heat. " I'm well rounded,  I can go anywhere in a fight and feel comfortable. My opponent is new to this game, I will take him to the deep end and drown him".

Russian import Sergei Medov laughs at his opponents comments. The 18 year old comes from a good camp of fellow WF fighters. He has been training since he was able to walk.

" Americans are funny, they're coddled until eighteen then they party and drugs until thirty then they start doing work. I've been Sambo since in diapers. World Champion grappler will put the Flower in quicksand.  He no understand who I am. He will see."

The most talked about fight on the card comes from the company's most talked about division,  the super Heavyweights.

15 - 6 James Jordon represents Joliet, Illinois proudly. The former dope man is a Gamma and North Star vet who comes to NY to become a World Champion.  " I haven't had gold wrapped around my waist in two years. I dropped my former manager and my former fight team and got back to grinding. I beat Mike because I want it more."

4-3 Mike Jackson looks like the underdog on paper but as he says this fight isn't taking place on paper. " I don't think he believes he can beat me. He may want to badly but the mind is a powerful thing. He's a submission fighter but I don't get submitted and he knows that. I'm in London trading with a bunch of killers because  I hope to knock him out. He's been active in his career , I've dealt with injuries and haven't been as active. That's why on paper he looks like the winner, unfortunately for him I'm healthy and I'm pissed off. I have a lot to prove in a very stacked division and if I beat James it'll put everyone else on notice."

Fighters to watch -

With nine fights confirmed and another verbally agreed to we will now highlight two fighters we believe could be standouts in their respective divisions.

Vladimir Kosmanov a 19 year old welterweight from Karabash, Russia. He is 1-0 with Superb wrestling which was showcased in his debut win via ground and pound. This Runts Academy prospect takes on 18 year old Brian Robson. Robson known as a Wonderful wrestler will look to test Kosmanov's ability on the mat. If Vlad wins he could put himself in the title picture immediately.

The undefeated 18 year old at Featherweight known as Juan Corona is our next stand out. The well rounded fighter from Helsinki has won both fights via stoppage, one from strikes and the other via submission. He steps in against a very game 2-1 Jakob Goulding who is best known for his ground game. The winner walks out with their third win and a stake at being in a title fight but the fans win either way.

Tune in December 21st as Wicked One makes its debut. Let's see who walks out our first champion, which Super Heavyweight stamps his name on the title fight contract and which prospects become stars.
