HFC - Knock Out 1

Event Preview

Main Event: Marco Silva vs Leevan Taylor (155)

Marco Silva (5-1) comes to the HFC after a stint in SMASH.  He went 4-1 in SMASH and was a very successful fighter there.  Now, he comes to the HARDCORE side of things to test his might in the HFC.  His first ever HFC oppoenent (many would call a tune up fight) is against Leevan Taylor (1-0).  Silva is definately the favored fighter in this, but don't count out a man who's never lost a fight.  Looking forward to this being a great match and a chance for the HFC to see what Silva brings to the table.  On the flip side, Taylor has a chance to stun the world and prove he's no joke, and that he's coming.

Co-Main Event: Diego Costa vs Darren Lloyd (205)

The co-main event comes from the 205 class where Diego Costa (0-1) will face off against Darren Lloyd (0-1).  Both fighters struggled in their first MMA fight, and now look to bounce back with a strong performance here in the HFC.
Diego Costa is a ground game specialist as he's got a background in wrestling and BJJ.  He'll definately be looking to take the fight to the ground against Lloyd, who's been working on a little bit of stand up, but still holds a brown belt in BJJ.  Don't expect to see this fight stay standing very long, and I'll go on and predict it here... somebody is gonna tap!
Undercards:

Ruben De Oliveira vs Barry Jameson (135)

Oliveira (0-1) comes into this fight hungry to prove his doubters wrong.  His only professional fight to date was in an amature MMA tournament in which he exited in the first round.  But Ruben is an excellent boxer and has some basic wrestling training, and I don't see him staying in the L column for very long.
His opponent, Jameson (1-1) is the more experienced fighter and will be looking to take this fight to the ground.  He will be overmatched in the standing game and looking to use his superior wrestling to take this fight to the ground and dominate.
This will truly be a test for De Oliveira, but one he is up to the challange of.

Balink Tarlah vs Frank Drebin (155)

Tarlah (0-0) comes into his first professional bout with a wrestling background and looking to keep this fight on the ground.  His opponent, Drebin (0-2), will most likely try to utilize his superior boxing to score a KO before that happens, but does have some extensive wrestling training under his belt should this fight go to the ground.
Looking to see a close fight here, Drebin has the advantage on paper, but he hasn't been able to capitalize in his previous two fights, so will he finally get over the hump today against Tarlah?
What do you think?

Adrian Petrov vs Sailendra Dessai (145)

Petrov (0-1) comes into this bout looking to score his first HFC victory, hell, his first MMA victory!  He's a wonderful wrestler and looking to take down his opponent and finish him off on the ground.
His opponent, Dessai (0-1) also is looking to score his first HFC victory.  He's a  classic MT fighter and will be looking to KO Petrov early and put his loss behind him.
Will Dessai get his desired KO?  Will it be a TKO in the other direction?  It's time to find out, who's going to win this chapter of stand vs ground!

Take Cruise vs One More Fight (170)

One More Fight (1-0) comes intot his bout looking for another victory.  This fighter having no desire to persue a long career only came to the HFC to test his might against worthey opponents  With a good blend of MT, Wrestling, and BJJ, this balanced fighter can beat you in a variety of ways.  Will he seek the KO? Will a kick to the face plant his opponent ass up snoring?  Will he take it to the ground and TKO you?  No, maybe make his opponent tap to avoid going to sleep or breaking a limb?  We shall find out!
His opponent, Cruise (1-1), is coming off a big TKO win over Ricky Jones in his last bout. Taka is a boxer, and a very good one at that, who started training in some wrestling to balance out his attack.  He will no doubt be looking to keep this one standing and KO One More Fight and prove that only the Hardcore belong in the HFC!

Looking forward to a great fight, a better card, and an amazing future for the HFC here.

Fighters, good luck!

Stay HARDCORE!!
