Hello UnderGroundFC fight fans it's Tony Soprano back again for the preview of UnderGroundFC 96 brought to you live from the Hard Knocks Arena in Amsterdam. Tonight we have some exciting fights capped off with dominant 185 pound UnderGroundFC Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret defending his title for the 4th straight time against challenger Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson. Let's get the review started!

  Prelims
170 pound division: Don "The Third" Bronson (2-1) vs Jason Rocks (6-4)   Bronson is a new comer to UnderGround FC winning his debut fight by way of first round KO with a devistating knee. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He'll be looking to extend the win streak tonight and continue to make a name for himself in his new organization! Rocks had a rough start to his UnderGround FC career losing the first 2 of his fights in the first round. He was able to put together wins in his next two fights but lost his most recent fight making him just 2-3 in UnderGround FC. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight seems to be one that will stay standing with 2 fighters still looking to make a name for themselves in the 170 pound division.    265+ pound division: Yhorm "The Giant" Cinder (7-6) vs Pedro "Big Peter" Fuentes (4-1)   Cinder is making his UnderGround FC debut! He is currently on a 4 fight losing streak and will be looking to break that with an impressive showing in his first fight with the organization. He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a brown belt in BJJ. Fuentes has won all 4 of his fights in UnderGround FC including 3 first round T/KO victories and 1 KO of the night award! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Fuentes is on a roll and will look to make quick work of a debut fighter and continue his ascend to the top of the 265+ pound division!   205 pound division: Frank Rothco (6-7) vs Patrick Bower (6-6)   Frank Rothco has been fighting for UnderGround FC since the beginning having his first fight on UnderGround FC 6. He is 5-5 overall in the organization and has won 3 of his last 5 fights. He is boxer that holds a white belt in BJJ. With 5 of his 6 victories coming by way of T/KO he'll be looking to finish this fight quickly and with a bang! Bower has also been fighting for UnderGround FC since the beginning having fought at UnderGround FC 5 and is 5-4 overall in the organization. He has won 3 of his last 4 fights by way of first round T/KO including a KO of the night award so he has been on fire! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. With all 6 of his victories coming by way of T/KO this fight is guaranteed to have fireworks and could very much end in a KO of the night award for either fighter! Great to see 2 fighters who have been here since the beginning!   155 pound division: Pax "The Spear" Africa (9-5) vs "Juicy Open Lipped Kiss" Jay Brown (10-7)   Africa is 4-2 in UnderGround FC and had his 4 fight win streak snapped in his last fight when he was KO'd in the first round. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. With 6 T/KO and 3 submission victories he has finished all of his wins and he will look to continue that streak in this fight! Jay Brown may have a nickname that made me have a good laugh but what's not funny is how focused he's been after recently changing managers. Brown has put together 2 straight wins including a first round submission victory in his last fight. He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a scary looking BLACK BELT in BJJ. He has 9 victories by way of submission and both men have the skills to finish this fight in the first round. This has submission of the night written all over it and fight fans around the world should be in for a treat right before the main card begins!   Speaking of the main card let's dive right in! MAIN CARD:   185 pound division: Raiam Dos Santos (13-12) vs Ricardo "Maloquero" Cruz (7-2)   Dos Santos is 6-4 in UnderGround FC and was the 185 pound Champion after winning the Championship at UnderGround FC 11 only to lose it shortly later at UnderGround FC 24. He has won 3 of his last 5 fights including a fight of the night award. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Dos Santos will be looking to continue his quest to get back in the championship picture! Cruz is 5-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming to current champion Parret. He also was awarded a submission of the night award during that 4 fight win streak he put together before the loss. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds the impressive BLACK BELT in BJJ. With 6 of his 7 victories coming by way of submission the game plan should be to go to the ground early and often. This is an interesting matchup and is guaranteed to bring the heat!   185 pound division: James 'Dangerzone" Stormchaser (7-4) vs Giuseppe Turturro (8-4)   This is an exciting matchup between 2 talented young fighters. Stormchaser is 1-2 with 1 no contest due to his opponent not being able to make weight for the fight. He won his last fight by way of KO and was awarded fight of the night in the fight before that in a decision loss to Raiam Dos Santos who is also fighting on this card. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He's won all of his fights by T/KO so I would expect nothing different in this one! Turturro won the 185 pound UnderGround FC Championship at UnderGround FC 24 and successfully defended it twice before losing the championship to current champ Parret. This will be his first fight under new management so we'll see if he can change things as he's lost 3 of his last 4 fights. He is a wrestler that holds an impressive BLACK BELT in BJJ. With all 8 of his victories coming by way of submission we have a very interesting Boxer/Wrestler matchup. Who will prevail? Will it be a  knockout or a submission? Fight of the night candidate? Tune in to find out!    Now for your CO MAIN EVENT of the evening!   205 pound division: Aapo Jukola (8-1) vs Tony "Badass" Winkle (10-4)   Jukola won his first 7 fights in UnderGround FC and 8 of his career including 4 first round finishes in route to his first ever Championship fight which he lost by a devastating first round flying knee KO. He's recovered and his back to get another win and bounce back from his first career loss! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. With 6 of his 8 wins coming from T/KO and a chip on his shoulder having suffered his first loss of his career he will be looking to come out swinging for the fences which the fans will always love to see! Winkle changed management before he started his UnderGround FC contract and won his first 2 fights by way of T/KO. That steak was snapped in his last fight suffering a KO loss in the second round. He is a wrestler that holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 8 of his 10 victories coming by way of submission he will look to go to the ground early and often especially with his opponent loving to T/KO his opponents. Another fight of the night candidate!   Now for your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING   185 pound division: Undefeated Defending 185 pound UnderGround FC Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret (10-0) vs Challenger Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson (11-4)   Let's start with the challenger. Jackson will have his hands full tonight and to say he will need "Big Moves" is an understatement. Jackson changed management right before signing his UnderGround FC contract and won his debut fight by first round T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a white belt in BJJ. With 9 of his 11 victories coming by way of T/KO he will come out swinging with heavy hands looking to finally defeat UnderGround FC's 185 pound version of Goliath! Speaking of the champion Parret he won his first 4 fights in UnderGround FC where he was then awarded a championship fight where he told full advantage knocking out then champion Giuseppe Turturro with one single punch. He would then go on to successfully defend that championship 3 times while taking home an award for either fight of the night or KO of the night for each of those wins! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 9 out of 10 of his victories coming by way of T/KO we have the making of 2 men who will meet in the middle of the cage and duke it out until one man prevails! If you like a stand and bang type of fight I think this is not only the fight for you but this is the start of you becoming a fan of UnderGround FC and the amazing fights that are put on display with each and every card!   That will just about end my preview for UnderGround FC 96. It was an honor to be able to write another preview for another perfectly put together card. Tune in on Saturday 2/15/20 because you won't want to miss even a second of this night of fights! Thank you everyone and good night!
