Merger That Rocked MMA

The Merger That Rocked the MMA

SMASH was a well known org with arguably the most talant loaded roster in the 350k ID range.  This org was known to be well paying and always active, and stuffing your mail box full of contract offers to keep their rosters growing.   With over 250 fighters signed to the org, it was a shock to hear they would be closing their doors for good as owner Alexander Biro stepped away from the world of MMA for good.  With no notice, and cancelling all of the upcoming events, SMASH was gone.   The Hardcore Fighting Championship has had a good relationship with SMASH, despite being their primary competition for signing highly touted new talent.  When the HFC heard that SMASH was about to shut it's doors, owner J.W. Hardman stepped in to save the day.   He worked out a last second deal to take over ownership of SMASH and merge the SMASH and HFC brand into one.  So in introduction, welcome the new HARDCORE Fighting Championship (350k+).     The HFC will remain the same hardcore style you've come to know and love.  With their hardcore events, first blood bonuses, and thrill of a good bloodbath, the HFC now bolsters a roster of nearly 350 fighters across all weight classes.    Even though the org lost a lot of hype with the sudden changes, with the amount of talent on the roster and infusion of youth into the org, HFC will be bigger and better than ever and is here to stay!   It was a loss the the world of MMA when SMASH closed their doors, but out of the ashes of SMASH will rise a stronger HFC into the world spotlight.
