Hello UnderGround FC fans I'm Tony Soprano here to bring you a preview of UnderGround FC 98 headlined by a fight for the 170 pound UnderGround FC Championship between defending Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau (13-3) and challenger Gabriel "Tarantula" Torres (11-1). UnderGround FC 98 is brought to you by our partners UnderGround Supplements live from the Hard Knocks Arena in Amsterdam. And.....here......we.......go!

Prelims:
265+ pound division:
Andrejs "Lacis" Medvedevs (1-2) vs Bac "Spring Pac" Nguyen Xuan (0-0)

Medvedevs is 1-1 in the organization after fighting the same opponent twice and winning a decision and losing a decision. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Medvedevs is only 19 years old and probably shouldn't be fighting professionally just yet but he and his manager thought differently and his career is not off to a bad start. He will look to add another win under his belt against his opponent who his fighting in his first ever professional MMA fight. Speaking of his opponent Xuan is a 21 year old prospect out of Ha Noi Vietnam. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This is a fight between 2 exciting prospects and it will be great to see two young fighters try and make a name for themselves!

265+ pound division:
Marilin "The Demolition Man" Manson (2-1) vs Bill "Koutalas" Koutalianos (1-1)

Manson is 2-1 in the organization after winning his first 2 fights but suffering a first round T/KO loss in his last fight. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Manson has skills to be dangerous on the feet and on the ground so we will see what kind of game plan his team comes up with for this fight! Koutalianos is coming off 2 tough decision fights where he won a fight and lost his last fight. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight looks like it will be a close battle whether it stays standing or goes to the ground and should be a great way to keep the crowd happy!

265+ pound division:
Hot Steel (8-4) vs Kamen "The Stone" Kamenov (5-11-1)

Steel comes over from FARTMMA and shined in his UnderGround FC debut with a beautiful first round head kick T/KO that earned him a KO of the night award! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a white belt in BJJ. He has all of his wins by T/KO and should be respected as a dangerous threat on the feet! Kamenov has struggled so far in his MMA career going 5-11-1 and losing 7 of his last 9 fights. However he still has a contract with UnderGround FC so he will show up and try to improve his record and get back on the winning track against an opponent who has had a good start to his career. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight could go either way but in my opinion won't last long! A fight between two young prospects that are sure to have bright futures in UnderGround FC.

145 pound division:
Killua "Kill" Zoldyk (7-9) vs Ky Tycoon (8-5)

Zoldyk is 3-5 in the organization and is currently on a 3 fight losing streak losing all 3 fights by decision. He skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Zoldyk has the skills to compete in the feet and on the ground and should be a good test for his opponent. Tycoon won his last fight which snapped a 4 fight losing streak and he also had a fight cancelled due to his opponent not making weight. He is a wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. This fight has all the makings of a chess battle between two smart fighters that could end in a decision easily!

155 pound division:
Rob Gross (7-6) vs Crazy Horse (4-0)

Gross is 1-2 in the organization after having won his debut he had lost his last 2 fights by T/KO. He has been T/KO'd in 5 of his 6 losses so he will look to be alittle more conservative as to not get caught early. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He will have a tough test in this fight but will also look to make a name for himself with a big win! Crazy Horse has won all 4 of his professional MMA fights including 3 wins in the UnderGround FC organization. He is coming off a decision win in his last fight but also has a T/KO and submission win in those 3 fights. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a very impressive black belt in BJJ. Crazy Horse will look to keep his undefeated start to his career in tact and cement his name in the 155 pound Championship conversation!

MAIN CARD!

155 pound division:
Israel "RedBeard" Hands (4-2) vs Reima Poika (6-1-1)

Hands is 4-1 in the organization including a submission of the night award. He is coming off a unamious decision victory and has won 4 of his last 5 fights. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. "RedBeard" has the skills to compete wherever this fight ends up going and should be a tough opponent. Poika lost his debut fight by first round T/KO in the UnderGround FC organization after coming over from GDL where he went undefeated with 6 straight wins including winning the championship and defending it successfully twice so he is no joke as an opponent and might have just let nerves get the best of him in his debut. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. He'll be looking to get his first win with his new organization!

265+ pound division:
Joe "Shotgun" Clark (4-0) vs Crispin "Sundowner" Freeman (3-1)

Clark is undefeated after debuting at UnderGround FC 8 and then fighting for the GDL where he won the Championship and successfully defended it once before making the decision to come back to UnderGround. He clearly has power in his hands as he has won all of his fights by way of first round T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He's undefeated and a brutal knockout artist so this fighter will surely be loved by all the fans! Freeman has fought all of his fights in UnderGround FC and has put together a 3 fight win and T/KO finish streak after losing his debut which clearly pissed him off. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. This fight is sure to bring fireworks as we have two established KO artists meeting in the middle of the cage to see who will prevail!

135 pound division:
Morris Day (11-4) vs Anthony Shiina (10-5)

Day is 3-1 in the organization with his only loss coming in a Championship fight where he suffered a second round KO loss. He was able to get back in the win column with a first round T/KO in his last fight and will look to continue that momentum in this one. He is a wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Despite being a wrestler he has 8 T/KO's out of his 11 wins so he seems to be prepared for anything! Shiina has been up and down recently and changed management a few times. This will be his debut fight in UnderGround FC after losing his last fight under the RapidFC organization. He will look to make a great first impression on his new organization with a big showing! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With all 10 of his wins coming by way of submission this fight looks to go to the ground but the question will be will it end with a T/KO or a submission? You won't want to miss the answer to that question!

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

155 pound division:
Akaro "Kid Lighting" Horiguchi (7-2) vs Liberal Stomper (13-3)

Horiguchi is 4-1 in the UnderGround FC with his only loss coming in an unsuccessful challenge for the Championship. He has a fight of the night and KO of the night award under the UnderGround FC organization. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. 6 out of 7 of his wins have come by way of T/KO so he will surely be looking to end another fight by way of brutal T/KO fashion. Stomper has been in UnderGround FC since it's start having won his debut fight on UnderGround FC 1 and is 7-3 in the organization with 4 fight of the night awards. He won his last fight in the first round by KO and has 9 of his 13 wins by way of T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. This fight should be a great boxing duel and should end quickly with 15 combined T/KO's between both fighters. This is something of a treat for your Co Main Event!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

170 pound Championship:
Defending Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau (13-3) vs challenger Gabriel "Tarantula" Torres (11-1)

Your main event of the evening is also a candidate for fight of the night as it's going to be an absolute war to determine the best of the best in the 170 pound division! The Challenger Torres is 3-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming in his first shot at the Championship against then champ Kobayashi Jin. He is a Champion in 2 different organizations before coming to UnderGround FC so he will be looking to capture gold in 3 different organizations if he can be successful in this fight. He won his last two fights in the first round by way of T/KO and submission and looks hungry to get to the champion! Speaking of the champion Trudeau lost his debut fight against the same man he was able to take the Championship from in his last fight Uesugi Mochinori. He won the championship in a 5 round war that he was able to finish with a T/KO with only 20 seconds left in the fight! Trudeau will be looking for his first successful championship defense in this fight. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. This fight will be very even right down the middle as Trudeau holds advantages in muai thai and Torres holds advantages in boxing and BJJ so it looks like this will come down to game plan and who can stick to it under heavy pressure. I'm personally excited to see this one as it's between to great fighters who have been on a role with great careers so far. Will Torres win his first Championship in UnderGround FC? Will Trudeau be able to successfully defend his title? Place your bets at UnderGround Bets and don't miss this amazing main event fight!
