Hello Everyone,
Butch Racuzza here with a rundown of Rural Champion 3 which airs live from The Underground – London on March 14, 2020!
We have an exciting card for you as well as plenty of fighters making their Rural Combat Streets debut! Best of luck to all fighters on the card for RC 3.
Kicking things off for the night we will start with two Prelim matches to get you pumped up for the Main Card for the evening! These four fighters will be looking to make an impression and step up in class hopefully by adding a win to their resumes.
The Main Card consists of five matches broken down into three mid-card matches, one co-main event, and finally the event headliner. Without further a due, lets introduce you to RC 3’s official fight card!
Rural Champion 3
Prelims-
Alexis Bruhn (1-0) VS John Pollock (0-2)
We kick off the action with a spirited bout in the 135-pound weight class division. Alexis Bruhn looks to keep his perfect record intact against winless John Pollock! Alexis is coming off an impressive victory at RC 1. Midway through the first round the referee stepped in and stopped his bout against William Billings via TKO strikes in what was a dominating performance! John Pollock is coming off two consecutive losses to Eoin McGrath in a Quick Fight and at RC 1. Both those contests ended in John Pollock tapping out! Will he tap for a third consecutive time or will he finally turn his luck around? This is truly a tale of two fighters going in opposite directions in the 135-pound division.
Lewis “The Mac Daddy” Macgregor (1-1) VS Tarmo “TRT” Rajantaka (1-1)
Our next fight takes place in the 205-pound weight class division. Two split record fighters looking to go over .500 with a win here. Lewis Macgregor is actually making his debut in RC tonight so we don’t know much about him or what to expect. Tarmo is making his official debut as well. This one is practically a tossup with both fighters coming off losses outside the organization. They look to get back into the win column and regain form.
Main Card-
Prince Hazardous (2-0) VS Ripper Stallone (0-0)
Kicking off the Main Card for the evening is a self-proclaimed “Prince”. He fought in the very first inaugural event RC 1 and claimed a split decision victory over Michael Holiday Jr who entered a deep depression after the loss and eventually quit the organization and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Ripper Stallone is entering his first ever professional fight, so he better be on his toes against the undefeated Prince Hazardous whose looked impressive and in good form thus far.
Elo Veena (5-1) VS Toth Orion (0-0)
The veteran Elo Veena holds the distinction of most fights and wins in the organization by far which is an impressive feat this early in the stage of Rural Streets Combat! His successful history is unrivaled and surely looks daunting to anyone who’s slated to go toe-to-toe with him, let alone another newcomer making his professional debut! Elo Veena went deep into the QFC tournament and made it all the way to the finals before losing to Titus Fury via an Arm Triangle choke. He redeemed himself with a dominating effort against Collin Crawford at RC 1. The latter didn’t even last a minute before getting KO’d via strikes from the dangerous Elo Veena! This has the makings to be a sneaky “Match of the Night” Candidate.
The Hitman (2-1) VS Ispa Perkele (1-0)
Perhaps the fight with the most hype around it…the “Call Out” fight between The Hitman and Ispa Perkele in the 170-pound weight class division! This to me resembles a street fight and punchers type feel. I would be surprised if this one made it to the judge’s scorecard. In fact, I’d venture to put my money on this match producing the KO of the night award! As you recall, Ispa Perkele won the award previously at RC 1 for putting out Tom Get Jacobsen lights early in round 1 in that bout! For his part, The Hitman is coming off a unanimous decision win against Rigoberto Lopez at RC 1 so both fighters are in form and in great shape. This one should be very intriguing.
Co-Main Event-
Yut Han (1-0) VS Tyrek Orion (0-0)
The co-main event of the evening will feature Yut Han who destroyed Chip Latonda in a QFC bout while in full mount by reigning down blow after vicious blow until the ref dived in to save him. Yut not being paid by the hour finished that fight in under a minute! Will the professional debut of Tyrek Orion be any different? Both fighters with their first bout in Rural Streets Combat in the lightweight division. The odds-on favorite seems to be Yut Han as he is highly touted coming to RC being the top ranked fighter in Rural Streets Combat.
The Main Event
Stevie Kidd (2-0) VS Bob Brown (0-0)
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you…the main event of Rural Champion 3! Stevie Kidd, the number two ranked fighter in RC meets the debuting Bob Brown in a 155-pound weight class matchup. Stevie Kidd is undefeated sitting with two victories under his belt already after submitting Markus Kiviranta via an Arm Triangle back at RC 1. Will his utter dominance of the 155-weight pound class continue? Will he overtake Yut Han in the RC rankings? Found out the answer to that and much, much more by tuning in on March 14, 2020 at The Underground in London for Rural Champion 3!
