Irate Champion

Fighter profile of Domonic Dilbrandt by Doc Dannis

Domonic Dilbrandt and his management have been in talks with RRFC and their owner Raul Gonzalez for a Champ vs Champ fight for months in attempts to capture the RRFC Featherweight Championship belt but before he would be allowed to go up to 145 and challenge for the belt, RRFC made Domonic Dilbrandt defend the Bantamweight title against the current RRFC Featherweight Champion Azriel Pandens. After his clear and dominant victory, Dilbrandt was presumably the number 1 contender for the RRFC Featherweight belt and after the fight Domonic and his management reached out to RRFC owner Raul Gonzalez and asked for either a #1 contenders fight or a title shot at Azriel Pandens Featherweight Championship, Raul Gonzalez told Domonic and his management "there are no fights at 145 right now." ONLY to turn around a couple hours later and announce they had booked Azriel Pandens in a title defense against Reece Daniels!!! Who for lack of better terms is very undeserving of the title shot. Domonic is very Irate and is looking to find a contract else where once his contract gets let go, somewhere where he won't be "backstabbed by the org owner".

This has been Doc Dannis and in closing I just want to ask, where is the loyalty between organization owners and fighters managers? Why would someone be such a snake that they would tell my fighter and I that there are no available fights just to go and book a fight that makes ZERO sense? My fighter and I are very hurt and have lost all trust and faith in RRFC owner Raul Gonzalez, I hope no other fighter gets taken advantage of like Domonic Dilbrandt has been.
