Hello UnderGround Fight Club fans this is Tony Soprano bringing you the review of UnderGround FC 100 headlined by fight in the 265+ pound division between Iron Jussi (7-1) and Ricco "The Eagle" McGregor (4-3). Let's get this review started!

Prelims:

Odin Ironheid (1-1) def Danny "DC" Cormier (6-7) via KO (Punch)

Well things just keep getting worse for Cormier as Ironheid only needed 14 seconds to end this fight. Cormier was able to land a double leg takedown which was meaningless as Ironheid escaped and immediately landed a big uppercut that send Cormier crumbling to the mat. He was able to convince the referee not to stop the fight even with a nasty cut but he probably should have let it end as he was hit again with a left hook to the temple after he was fooled with a fake body shot and was out cold before he hit the mat! Ironheid wins his debut fight in UnderGround FC and gets his first win under new management while Cormier continues to struggle with his 4th straight loss all by first round T/KO.

205 pound division:
Hugo Boss (3-3) def John Malone (5-4) via submission (kimura)

This fight started one way and ended a completely different way! Malone came out swinging and was able to land a big right hand that sent Boss crashing to the floor however Malone did not follow Boss to the ground and allowed him to get up which might have been the biggest mistake of the fight. Boss took this new lease on life and landed a takedown and advanced position until he felt comfortable and attempted 7 submissions that were all defended well by Malone. Malone wasn't able to last as Boss locked in the Kimura in his last submission attempt and forced Malone to tap out! What a fight! Wow! Boss snaps a 3 fight losing streak with this win while Malone has now lost his last 2 fights.

265 pound division:
Spinning "Double Elixer" Fire (7-2) def Sauli Kekkonen (3-4) via T/KO (strikes)

The first fight of the night that went longer than the first round was a battle for as long as it lasted. The first round was back and forth shots from both men before Fire was able to land a takedown. He didn't do much with it so the referee decided to stand the fight up. Fire went back to the ground with another takedown and that's where the fight remained until the end of the round with most cards having Kekkonen winning the round. The second round was much of the same except Fire dominated the round with a takedown and controlling most of the action. Both fighters have won a round as far as they are concerned so the third round and the fight is still up for grabs! The third round was most of the same action as Fire landed another takedown but this time amped up his game on the ground and was able to land a nasty elbow to the side of the head that clearly hurt Kekkonen. Fire continued with strikes until the referee stepped in to stop the fight with only a minute left in the fight! Fire has now won 2 of his last 3 fights while Kekkonen has lost 3 of his last 4 and will look to get back on track in his next fight.

145 pound division:
Anti Happy (6-3) def Wilfred "Itimu" Keter (2-3) via submission (triangle)

This fight was a chess battle to say the least as all 3 rounds seemed to be pretty much the same with Happy scoring takedowns and predominantly choosing to go to the ground. Keter landed shots and was able to defend when the fight went to ground but found himself getting tired having to defend all these takedown attempts. Keter was winning both rounds going into the third and was looking to atleast last for the decision win. Happy had other plans however as he landed a takedown and wouldn't let the fight slip away before the final bell advancing position and locking in a triangle that forced a very quick tap out from Keter! What a finish! Happy has now won 3 of his last 4 fights while Keter has lost 2 of his last 3 including this tough loss.

Main Card:

265 pound division:
Fedor "Bonecrusher" Mazepin (10-8) def Yardbird Knox (6-3) via submission (kimura)

The first round started off with a bang ad Mazepin was cut by a counter punch from Knox in the first minute! The back and forth shots continued on the feet and in the clinch for a few minutes until Mazepin was rocked by a right hand to the jaw and more shots that continued to open his cut more. Mazepin needed time to recover and did so while he landed a takedown and attempted submissions for the rest of the round but wasn't able to lock any of them in. The first round was very close but most cards had Yardbird Knox winning it. The second round was very different than the first and was all Mazepin. He landed a takedown very early in the round and was able to finally lock in a kimura after 10 submission attempts and end the the fight in the second round! Mazepin snaps a 4 fight losing streak while Knox has lost his last 2 fights after winning 3 in a row so he will need to change things up in hopes of putting together another nice win streak!

170 pound division:
"Pretty" Ife Edwards (9-3) def Spurgu Nator (6-5) via unamious decision

This was the only fight of the night that went the distance but wasn't close at all. Both fighters stayed standing the whole fight trading shots on the feet or in the clinch but no fighter suffered a knockdown or any huge shots that could have changed momentum. Edwards came in and executed his gameplan while doing enough to convince the judges that he was the better fighter on the night. He dominated all 3 rounds against Nator and left the judges no choice but to score the fight 30:27 30:27 30:27 in favor of "Pretty" Ife Edwards! Edwards snaps a 2 fight losing streak with this win while Nator has lost his last 2 fights and 4 of his last 6.

265+ pound division:
"Released" Tyson James (15-8) def Kyle "Breezy" Clint (6-12) via T/KO (strikes)

This fight didn't last long and was mainly dominated by James as he landed a takedown in the first minute and controlled the ground attempting multiple submissions while Clint did a good job defending. Clint was able to escape and get back to his feet and was even able to cut James with a nice one-two. Clint was able to catch James napping and land a takedown which proved to be the wrong decision as James advanced position and continued to attempt submissions until he saw an opening for ground and pound and took advantage landing a huge elbow and more shots until the referee called for the stoppage! James has now won 2 of his last 3 fights while Clint has been on a devastating losing streak of his last 8 fights including his first 5 fights in UnderGround FC.

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

145 pound division:
Bayani Kunakorn (3-0) def Winston "Son Of The Elbow" Cooper (9-12) via T/KO (punches)

The co main event of the evening didn't last long as Kunakorn looked to stay undefeated and it wouldn't take him long. The fight started with back and forth shots from Kunakorn and Cooper with Kunakorn getting the advantage that led to a hook to the side of the head that rocked Cooper. Kunakorn would see the writing on the wall and land a big uppercut and another huge shot that crumbled Cooper to the mat. Kunakorn peppered on more shots forcing the referee to stop the fight! Kunakorn stays undefeated and has now his last 3 fights including his first 2 fights for UnderGround FC! Cooper has now lost 5 of his last 6 and is 1-1 in UnderGround FC.

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

265+ pound division:
Iron Jussi (7-1) def Ricco "The Eagle" McGregor via T/KO (strikes)

Both the co and main events tonight only lasted 3 minutes combined so if you came to see fighters finish the fight that's exactly what UnderGround FC gave you! Jussi came out firing strikes almost instantly and he cut McGregor in the first minute. Both fighters continued this stand and bang type of fighting with Mcgregor trying to clinch until Jussi landed a big right hand that sent McGregor to the canvas. McGregor seemed surprised Jussi didn't follow him to the ground after the knockdown but it was clear Jussi wanted to end this on his terms. More standup followed but not for long as Jussi landed another big right hand that had McGregor leaning against the cage. Jussi threw more shots until McGregor fell to the floor and the referee saw enough. Jussi has now put together 3 impressive T/KO victories and will surely hope that helps him jump the rankings while McGregor falls to 2-2 in the organization.

What a great night of fights we had with 5 out of 9 fights being finished in the first round and every fight except one was finished! The fans hope the see cards like this every time they watch and UnderGround FC will continue to bring them! Thank you all again for taking the time to read my review and I will be back this week with 2 more previews for UnderGround FC 101 and 102 which is headlined by a 185 pound best Jackson in UnderGround FC fight between Luther "Limpy" Jackson (23-7) and Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson (11-5) at UnderGround FC 101and a fight in the 205 pound division between Barry "Bulletproof"Jones (14-5) and Aapo Jukola (9-1).
