 Hello UnderGround Fight fans I'm Tony Soprano back again with another preview for UnderGround FC 101 brought to you from our partners at UnderGround Supplements. UnderGround FC 101 is live from the Hard Knocks Arena in Amsterdam and is headlined by a fight in our 185 pound division between Luther "Limpy" Jackson (23-7) and Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson. Without further ado let's get right into the preview!
Prelims:
155 pound division:
Ralphie "Head Kick" Maldonado (9-8) vs Alphonse Villeneuve (6-5-1)
Maldonado is currently 3-5 in UnderGround FC and has lost his last 3 fights including his last fight where he lost by first round submission which was actually his first fight under new management. Maldonado is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Maldonado has 5 T/KO's in his 9 victories and will look to use that power to get back on track and snap this tough 3 fight losing streak he finds himself on. Villeneuve fought for UnderGround FC way back at UnderGround FC 9 and had 3 fights for the organization going 2-0-1 with 2 first round knockouts. He decided to jump to RFC where he struggled losing all 5 of his fights. He is back with UnderGround FC after signing a new contract and will look to continue his undefeated record. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds an impressive black belt in BJJ. With all 6 of his wins by submission and a black belt it will be no surprise to see him take the fight to the ground. Both men have the skills to compete whether the fight stays standing or goes to the ground so this will be a great fight either way!
265+ pound division:
Crispin "Sundowner" Freeman (3-2) vs Bac "Spring Pac" Nguyen Xuan (1-0)
Freeman has fought all of his fights in UnderGround FC debuting at UnderGround FC 70. He was on a 3 fight win streak that was snapped in his last fight where he lost by first round T/KO. Freeman is a boxer/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. Freeman was caught in his last fight but will look to get back to his winning ways in the organization. Xuan is new to UnderGround FC having won his debut fight by unamious decision. Xuan is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Xuan had a tough battle in his first fight and will only get tougher with this fight but he will look to draw up the write gameplan to continue his undefeated ways.
135 pound division:
Shiro "Shining Sun" Tanaka (6-3) vs Curtis "Jiggy" Jackson (6-7)
Tanaka is another fighter that fought for UnderGround FC in it's early days but made the jump to smother organization for alittle while and finds himself back in UnderGround FC. He is 5-2 in the organization and will look to continue that great record with this new contract. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Tanaka is coming off a submission loss in his last fight and will certainly look to start off with a bang in this fight. Jackson has fought all but one of his fights in UnderGround FC with s record of 6-6. He is coming off a first round submission loss that snapped a 2 fight win streak. Jackson is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight will be exciting with 2 fighters with exceptional skills looking to get back on track!
135 pound division:
Amadou Poussin (7-2) vs Gene Steve "Maniac" Duterte (3-1)
Poussin has struggled as of late and has changed management a few times. He has since signed on with new management and secured a contract with UnderGround FC and will make his debut in this fight. Poussin is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. With 6 T/KO victories he will bring that power and look to end this fight quickly and violently! Duterte is 2-1 in UnderGround FC winning his first 2 fights but losing his last fight by way of first round submission. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. This fight will be a slobberknocker with 9 T/KO's between both fighters and fans won't want to miss it!
170 pound division:
Jason Rocks (6-5) vs Marin Ivanov (9-8)
Rocks is currently 2-4 in UnderGround FC and has struggled a bit. He did have a 2 fight win streak at one point but has now lost his last 2 fights by way of T/KO with one coming in the first round. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Rocks knows he can win fights and will need to make sure he comes out and executes the game plan to get a win and snap his current losing streak. Ivanov started off his career winning 6 of his first 7 fights. That luck changed when he signed on for UnderGround FC as he started seeing much more talented fighters and is currently 2-7 including a win in his last fight that snapped a 5 fight losing streak! He is wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This is a fight between two fighters that haven't had the greatest start to their UnderGround careers so they should be hungry for a win!
Main Card:
205 pound division:
Jacques Daniel (5-3) vs Desperately "Trying" To Be Positive (10-12)
Daniel is new to UnderGround FC having only fought 3 times and debuting at UnderGround FC 64. He lost his first 2 fights but was able to win his first fight for the organization in his last fight where he won by first round T/KO. Daniel is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He will look to keep the momentum and extend his win streak to 2! Positive fought for UnderGround FC way back at UnderGround FC 12. He went 1-2 before returning to the QFC scene to get back to his winning ways. He won 2 fights and then signed back with UnderGround FC where he is 1-3 bringing his overall record in the organization to 2-5 so it's fair to say he has struggled. Positive is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Positive has 3 fight of the night awards and 1 KO of the night award so don't let his record fool you because he is dangerous in the cage!
170 pound division:
Romulus Gerber (5-2) vs Bung "Hitman" Popper (9-9)
Gerber won his debut fight in UnderGround FC by first round T/KO after going 4-2 in the QFC scene. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. This will be only his second fight in UnderGround FC and he will look to continue making a name of himself with his new organization! Popper debuted for UnderGround FC at UnderGround FC 15 and went 3-2 and even fought for the 170 pound Championship losing by first round submission. He then signed to FARTMMA for a few fights and finds himself back in UnderGround. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He has lost 3 of his last 4 fights and will come into this fight hoping to get back on track. This is a fight between two young professionals and should be an exciting matchup!
155 pound division:
Moe "The Diddler On The Roof" Lester (6-1) vs "Juicy Open Lipped Kiss" Jay Brown (10-8)
Lester is 5-1 in UnderGround FC and won his first 4 fights in the organization before his first loss. He was able to get back on track with a win in his last fight by way of first round T/KO in 33 seconds! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He will look to land another fast T/KO in this fight! Brown is 7-6 in UnderGround FC but has struggled having only won 2 of his last 7 fights. He has also had an issue with management as he switched a few times but has landed another manager with the hopes to turn things around. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds an impressive black belt in BJJ. He has 9 submission victories and will look to bring that same dangerous ground game into this fight to secure another victory!

145 pound division:
Kyle Kristian "The Filipino Pedophile" Galeos (12-5) vs Beck "Blanket" Lee (8-7)
Galeos is currently 6-5 in UnderGround FC having fought for the Championship once and losing by way of T/KO. He has won 5 of his last 7 fights with all 5 ending in the first round and 4 KO of the night and 1 fight of the night awards! Impressive! He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. He will look to add the 6th award to his name with another T/KO in this fight! Lee is has only had 5 professional MMA fights going 1-4 in FARTMMA and RapidFC. He has fought in the QFC scene 9 times going 7-2 so he hasn't seen his amateur success translate into professional success which must be tough. However he has inked s professional MMA contract with UnderGround FC and will make his debut in the co main event so the hype level should be high. Lee is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He will look to start off right with his new organization and impress the fans when the pressure is on!

185 pound division:
Luther "Limpy" Jackson (23-7) vs Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson (11-5)
Luther has changed management a few times in the last year which is a struggle in itself but seems to have finally made the right choice. His record hasn't been too bad considering as he has gone 3-2 and fought for the 185 pound Championship twice but losing both times to the dominant champ Pate Parret. He has won 2 of his last 3 fights including a submission of the night award in his last fight. Luther is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He will look to extend his win streak to 2 and keep his name in the Championship picture. Akoni has also changed management a few times and has gone 1-1 in UnderGround FC with the loss coming in a Championship fight against Parret in his last fight. Akoni is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Akoni will look to get back on track with this win against a tough opponent. Both men will come into this fight with fire and hope to get their chance at revenge against the Champ that beat them both!
