Author:Outlaw Bleak

Hello Hardcore Fighting Championship fans my name in Tony Soprano and I'm coming to you with a preview for the main card of HFC 8: Tanner vs Richardson being headlined by a 185 pound Championship fight between defending Champion Rob Tanner (7-1) and challenger Moe Richardson (8-2)! HFC 8 is being brought to you live from Hayashi's Lounge in chilly Montreal! Let's get right into the preview!

Main Card:

265 pound division:

Fred Freds (2-2) vs Vladmir "Cinderblock" Golovkin (4-3)

This matchup kicks off the main card in an exciting fashion! Freds is making his HFC debut and hasn't started off his career like he would have hoped. He is currently on a 2 fight losing streak on the QFC scene including a first round T/KO in his last fight. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. He will need to execute his gameplan in order to win his debut fight. Golovkin is coming over from SMASH and was 2-2. He has won 2 of his last 3 fights including a KO win in his last fight so it's fair to say he's been on a roll as of late. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. This fight doesn't seem like it'll spend much time on the mat and both fighters will be looking for a quick T/KO to start off the main card with a bang!

205 pound division:

Kuuri "Ku-San" Sando (3-3) vs Habib "CHiken" Putins (5-4)

Sando has won 2 of his last 3 fights under the SMASH organization including a first round T/KO in his last fight. Sando is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. He is fairly new to professional MMA with only 6 fights under his belt but he doesn't plan on letting that stop him from making an incredible HFC debut! Putins is making his professional MMA and HFC debut as he has only fought on the QFC scene so far. He feels like he is ready to test the water and HFC will surely be a test for him! Putins is a wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Both fighters will look to have a great start to their HFC career and impress their new fans!

265+ pound division:

Matthaus "Dust" Gold (7-1) vs Sergei "Bam Bam" Bautin (2-0)

Gold has won the first 7 fights of his career including holding the 265+ Championship for NAFC on the island before the season ended. He will now make the jump to the mainland and chose to sign with HFC and get hardcore!! He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Gold lost his last fight by first round submission and will look to shake that off and get a win in his new organization! Bautin won his first 2 fights of his career under the Maddness MMA organization and has now signed with HFC to continue that undefeated start. Bauntin is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He won both fights by first round KO and will surely look to bring use his power to stay undefeated and continue his first round KO streak! This fight doesn't seem like it will last long at all and might even end up being a KO of the night candidate!

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

170 pound division:

"Captain" Jonathan Archer (7-1) vs Markus Kray (9-3)

Archer won the first 7 fights of his career and lost his undefeated record with a tough unamious decision loss in his last fight for SMASH. Before that loss he had 3 wins all by T/KO! He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Archer will look to get back to his winning ways using his KO power. Kray has won 4 of his last 5 fights and is currently on a 2 fight win streak including a tough unamious decision victory in his last fight. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a white belt in BJJ. With 14 T/KO's between both fighters this is another fight that clearly won't last long and could easily be a KO of the night as both men have powerful hands and plan to use them!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

185 Pound Championship:

Defending Champion Rob Tanner (7-1) vs challenger Moe Richardson (8-2)

Let's start with the challenger. Richardson won his first 8 fights although 7 of them came on the QFC scene. He made the jump from the island to SMASH which has now become HFC. He is currently on a 2 fight losing streak including a first round T/KO and has struggled in those two fights. He is a wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. If ever a time to get back on track and get momentum back now is the time! He will look to capture his first Championship of his career with a win in this fight! The defending Champion Tanner has won 4 fights in a row including capturing the Championship by way of T/KO. He made his first successful Championship defense in his last fight and will look for his second defense in this fight as it seems he has gotten quite comfortable with the gold around his waist! He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. This fight is fight of the night caliber with a fighter looking to capture his first ever Championship against another fighter not looking to give up his Championship any time soon! Mark my words you won't want to miss this fight!

That will just about wrap up my preview of the main card of HFC 8. I hope you all enjoy my work and we look forward to seeing you at the fights! Thank you and Good Night!!
