   Team Lobster Interviews

Barnito Mustachio, Sabotage Rex, Don Piano, Ze Jiurgite

Barnito

First off lets start with the Mustache, Thats pretty impressive how do you get that thing so Mustachalicious. Is it just Genetics? Well, Douche, you just kinda have it or you don’t. The mustache is more than genetic facial hair, its an artistic representation of your soul. Also, I drink 4 raw eggs with dark beer every morning, it definetely helps getting the facial hair thicker.

Congrats on the big win today over Your Sweet Destruction. What exactly was the game plan for him?
Thanks. Destruction was a tough opponent, the striking game was pretty even. I’m a better grappler, I knew he wouldn’t try to wrestle me. It was just stand and bang and hope I could push the pace and play my game. My team was planning a third round KO, it didnt happen but its fine. The gameplay worked and I got the win.

Now you have a possible showdown with Sean Dickinson next, how do you feel about Main Eventing MADNESS 142 in a #1 Contender fight?
That’s what we’ve been working for. I want that belt, I want to face the best and Dickinson is a damn tough fighter. Our boxing coach, McSparr, fought him before and it was a slugfest. But that’s what you gotta do if you want to be a champ, right? Walk the walk, dance the dance, whatever it takes, whoever may come. We fought him before, we know his game and we will be ready this time.

Do you see any area you may need to work on during your next training camp?
I’m still young, still new at this sport, so, yes, I have lots of areas I need to work for the next fight. Any particular area or weakness, tho? Yes, we know some weakness that need to be covered, but can’t tell you that, right? Don’t want no nosy coach reading this and exploiting it against me!

Now let's jump to the early days of "El Senor Vorpal Kickasso" What brought you to a career in MMA? It’s how we are. The mexican people is a very tough, hard, passionate, hard working, struggling people. We struggle to survive. And this instinct shows in the cage. Thats why he have so many great boxers with an unique style, the mexican way. I don’t think I had any other way of dealing with this inner, boiling rage. Fighting keeps me in check.

We are here at the Home of Team Lobster, Barney's Meathouse and we some of your training partners doing there thing. How has the Team been an asset to you? This gym is great. This team is great. We have two top notch teachers, striking headmaster Boxing McSparr and BJJ genius Zé Jiurgite, along with all technique coaches, always clean and with great supplements and snacks machines. Recently, we received also some new fighters, to help the sparring sessions. We train tough, we train hard, the coaches know their stuff, and Zoidberg at our corner really gives us a good gameplan. I see great things coming.

Don Piano

Hello Don congrats on your last fight, one punch KO, how did you feel coming into the bout with Lukey Kline, and what preparation did your camp help with? Hello DOuche, thanks and nice seeing you here. It felt damn good. I know the big boys all have some knockout power, but my hand is special. Its heavy, and if I touch, you sleep. I didnt even punch that hard, I was just trying to get the timing and measure the distance, but I was very happy with that strike and when it hits the button, its lights out. We have GREAT strikers here, like Boxing McSparr and Sabotage Rex, so I was really well prepared. A tactic chess match? A huge volume fight, see who scores more with the judges? All out with power shots? I was prepared for everything, even the ground game. Jiurgite prepared me really well for this, and even tho Kline is a brown belt, I felt really good going to ground with him. I got a sweep, put myself in a dominant position and scored the round. I know people didn’t pay for a lay’n’pray, so I came back to the second round focused on striking.   We know you came from a loss to this fight. Did this have any impact and how relieved did you feel after the victory? Being KO’d is not nice. I definetely felt some pressure. I’m not relieved cause there are so many great fighters in the HW category, I still have a long way to proving myself a force to be reckoned yet

Your back on track Mr. Piano we look forward to seeing you back in the Madness Cage real soon!

Sabotage Rex

Where here now with a quick shout out with Madness MW conteder Sabotage Rex. How are you feeling right now, after the biggest win off your career against a really game Ricardo Milos? Ricardo is a brazillian beast. Did you take a look at his body, how built he is? He is a frickin greek god. And, as a fighter, he is special. Great skill, huge knock out power, a good corner... But I have a huge fist as well. Did you ever see a fist this big? Its fucking heavy. I knew it was a mater of whoever hits the other guy’s chin first. I tagged him first, and thats it. You know, I used to endure so much shit during my pornstar career, a little slugfest during a clinch is like breakfast. You cant beat pornstar cardio, baby.

I expect Big thigs from this kid, you got anything else to add Mr. Rex? Don’t support piracy, buy my porn instead.

Ze Jiurgite

We can't come to the Meathouse and not have a few words with Ze Jiurgite the 20 year old grappling phenom.

You recently had a minor setback in your rising career in the CACC Grappling Organization, loosing your championship to Shanti Anatta. Do you hope to get another shot at him? Hello, McBaggins. It is my pleasure to talk to you guys.
I don’t understand why people put me as an underdog against all these black belts, just because I am a BJJ brown belt. Its just a piece of cloth, it only covers the tip of the butt crack. You are responsible to make the rest of your ass secured, you know? And I think I was able to show that the last couple of fights. I did a great match against Rodrizinho, and I think I did everything right against Shanti. I was way ahead in the score and his neck is like steel. I tried to choke him a lot, but he just wouldn’t tap. At the end, he was able to snipe a submission and get the victory, but this things happens. I really look forward to roll with him again, but I think thats not where my matchmaking stands right now. I have this next fight against Rolf Ottke and I hope a rematch against Rodrizinho before I can think about the belt again. I hope Shanti keeps the belt until then.

Your next fight is in just 14 days how do you see this going?
We don’t have the same impact to the head as in MMA, nor do we punch or kick, so our injuries usually are not as important. We can have a much more intense competitive lifespan. It’s just normal business. Everybody knows the rear naked choke is my specialty and come well prepared for it, so I foresee a kimura win between the 8th to 12th minute of the fight, after I pressure him a bit and suck the will to fight out of his soul.
Your recently left your home in Bahia, Brazil to live in the US, how was that? Well, the people is very different. They are more warm, receptive, happy, more... Malandro... It’s just different, and I miss it a lot. Also, the weather, the beaches... But it was the best thing I did. We had a very poor life there. I used to work for a shoes factory there. Do you know how cruel shoes factories are? I received no training, no protection equipment, and had to operate all those dangerous leather cutting machines for less than minimum wage. My kids had no food, no school... Jiu jitsu saved our lives, now my kids goes to great schools, they eat healthy, they have a future. No mater how hard this transition can be, there is no shit too hard to swallow a father won’t face for his family.

Lastly you seem to be a slick BJJ artist and a huge help with the rest of Team Lobster in the grappling department, who is the team looking in there BJJ learnings?
Yes, we have been facing some good jiu jitsu fighters in our MMA matches and I am just glad I can help the team to prepare. We have pure wrestlers, we have bjj white belts that started here already focusing on the MMA grappling, its such a diverse pool of techniques that it makes the training sessions really rich. Don Piano and Barnito have really great skills, I wouldn’t be surprised if they achieve a brown belt soon.
back to Barnito

The Madness Welterweight division is one of the most nasty Weight classes around, and Barnito Mustacho looks to be one of the Brightest. Do you have any last words for the rest of the division? Lemme tell you something, pendejos. You try pulling out some crazy shit and get in my way, I stuff it up your ass and pull the fucking trigger until it goes Cli-ick. Nobode fucks witht he Moustache.   Ladies and Gentleman this has been another great Weekend report with Douche "It's shits and giggles until someone Giggles and shits' McBaggins!
