Memphis born rapper turned MMA fighter Chrs Travis has made quite the name for himself as of late inside the cage working for Madness MMA. The Fighter known to most by his nickname "Kenshin" has been at Madness since the Montreal based Org started. In fact Chris was apart of the Inaugural League of Madness Tournament that started 9 months ago. One of Team Alex K's Members Kenshin managed to get Knock Out his first opponent in the Tournament but met the eventual winner Mohammed Kahn in his next fight where he himself ended up loosing by KO.
The then light Heavyweight fighter went on to win his next two fights at 205 before deciding to trim down and drop to 185. He made his debut at Middleweight against a savvy vet of Madness in Michael Wackson and Travis made a huge statement in that fight winning in just 10 seconds time by way of TKO and earning himself his first "KO of the Night" bonus as well. Next up for Kenshin was a former title challenger at 185 Steven Steele, who gave him a more competitive fight but he too was KO'd by the emerging star in Travis. Another "KO of the Night" Bonus was earned and this set up his stiffest test to date as he signed to fight another rising star in Konstantin Sogrin in early February of 2020. Chris looked very strong against Sogrin as he won the fight on all three scorecards and also earned yet another Bonus this time "Fight of the Night".
At this point the question is what is next for Travis? Now on a five fight winning streak it seemed to be time to give this former "LOM" Alum a shot at the title. The newly crowned champion Jason Carter (5-1) was in need of a challenger and Kenshin stepped up to the plate. These two fighters are very familiar with one another both linked to the Stepdads Alliance.
Ultimately the move to 185 turned out to be a brilliant one indeed and Chris Travis looks to have quite the pro career ahead of him for sure.
