Hardcore Bloodbath Entertainment Presents   HFC 12 - Bizihwaeile vs Wolf   March 28, 2020 Hayashi's Lounge - Montreal MMA / Cage / 10 Point Must   This Saturday has become a date I have been waiting for.  When first putting together this card, it was designed to get some fighters active and shuffle up the rankings a little bit to see who would crop up and start challenging the edges of the top 10.  A couple fights pulled together, one of which stole the show.   Our main event tonight is for the HFC Light Heavyweight championship between newly crowned champ, Aaron Wolf, and the former HFC light heavyweight champ, Feaqeuin Bizihwaeile.     This fight was not supposed to happen until next month, but these fighters didn't want to wait.  Wolf called out Bizi after winning the belt, and Bizi accepted the challenge and requested to move the date up so they could throw down sooner.  These two fighters have no love for one another, nor do their managers.  Check out the official HFC Smack Talk Thread to see the banter between these guys, very entertaining stuff as they go neck and neck.   Aaron Wolf (7-1) Vs Feaqeuin Bizihwaeile (9-3) (Light Heavyweight Title Fight)   The challenger, former HFC champion Bizi, comes into this fight after an impressive outing in his last bout against Martin Alexander in his last fight on Friday 13th's card.  No sooner than he got home, cracked open a beer, and started flipping through his black book of numbers, he got the notification... The champ had called HIM out.  What's more, is there is history there between these two managers and it appears to have carried over into the fighters.   Bizi answered the call and will be taking on the reigning, undisputed, HFC light heavyweight champion of the world, Aaron Wolf, dressed like Scorpion of Mortal Kombat.  (I hope he knows it's not Halloween yet!)  Wolf, winning the belt in his last fight against Bruce Vanorden by way of submission, is hungry to get back into the cage again.  Kinda surprising, isn't it?  A Wolf who likes to be caged?   Riding a 5 fight win streak, and a perfect 5-0 record in the HFC, the champ is looking to punish, nay, hurt his opponent in this fight.  The bad blood between these will spill over, and if we're all lucky, spill out making the cage look like a bloodbath CSI scene from a Steven King movie... Who will prevail?  The Wolf, or the wolf man, that is the question.  And a question that will be answered one week from today at HFC 12.   Kirill Semenov (5-3) vs Jack Sparrow (5-1) (Heavyweight)   Semenov is an exceptional boxer who also has earned a blue belt in BJJ.  He has won the KO of the night award, and won by (T)KO in 4 of his 5 victories.  He spent some time on the islands where he started off a promising career, but lost in his final tournament bid and then again in his HFC debut against Lucas in HFC 5.   Semenov will be looking to bounce back from those losses and get his career back to where it needs to be before those losses catch up to his wins.  This is one, despite an impressive 5-3 record, he needs to win in a bad way.   His opponent, "Captain" Jack Sparrow, comes into this fight riding high after winning his last three fights, most recently against Tony Soprano Jr.  His impressive 5-1 record was only blemished by another familiar name on this card, Bizi.  At that time, Sparrow challenged Bizi for the title, but was KO'd for his efforts.  Having just 2 fights under his belt at that time, Sparrow just wasn't prepared for a championship fight.  He's proving now that he's a better fighter, and if he wins again Saturday, he may be looking at another title shot in the not so distant future.  And, if Bizi beats Wolf, he may even end up with a rematch for the title against the same champ.  Wouldn't that be a great card..   Sparrow hit's like a mule who just OD'd on steroids while watching his mom get mugged by a racist midget on a trike.  With his combination of MT and wrestling, he's been able to finish all five of his fights by TKO, and he's had a history of leaving his opponents in a puddle of blood.  When he connects solid, you're usually getting bloody.     In this fight, he will be looking to bloody up Semenov as is the HARDCORE tradition, and move on to work his way up the rankings in persuit of his legacy.   Conor Butcher (4-0) vs Brandin Duncan (6-6) (Lightweight)   Young Conor Butcher is living up to his name as a butcher.  He reminds me of a fuzzy headed Tito Ortiz who likes to get you down and manhandle you then ram his fist and elbows down your throat.  With exceptional wrestling and BJJ skills, holding a purple belt in BJJ, he has been able to take down and beat down each of his opponents to date.     His opponent, the veteran Duncan has had a bit of a rocky career.  His early days with Madness MMA had him with a 4-4 professional record, and he's gone 2-2 in the HFC to date.  He's been able to tap out some good fighters along the way, but unfortunately hasn't been able to string together a few victories.  Other than his first two fights of his career, he's never won back to back fights.  If he wins against Butcher, this would be the first and might give him the momentum he needs to turn his career around.   Butcher has no plans on letting that happen as I hear he's focused and ready to go and has been chomping at the bit to get into the cage.  With the momentum he's riding, and the crowd cheering him on, Butcher will give Duncan all he can handle, and probably more.   James Bogger (7-6) vs John Besant (10-5) (Welterweight)   A fight between veterans, two of our most established fighters in the loaded middleweight division.  A combined 17-11 record between them, it's a wonder these two haven't crossed paths before.   With excellent striking skills, Bogger has the ability to end a fight via (T)KO.  He lost in his recent fight against Tai Kung, and Kung is now looking at his shot at the gold while Bogger is looking at his chance at redemption.   Bessant is also a solid striker with some boxing and high MT training, but also has been hard at work in the gym doing some wrestling training.  Bogger may have a slight edge standing, but Bessant defiantly has the edge on the ground.   Bessant is also looking for a rebound fight as he's lost two strait fights, the most recent of which being his HFC debut.  Both fighters need a win here, and I think Bessant is going to pull it off.  I just don't see enough out of Boggers camp to give me confidence he can get this win.   Undercards   Scooter Bob (2-1) vs Sergio Vargas (2-0) (Welterweight) Issa Kassib (2-1) vs RJ Cain (5-2) (Welterweight) Randy Randleman (2-0) vs Gvido Linga (5-5) (Welterweight) Harry Dunn (3-2) vs Funky Colemadina (7-6) (Bantamweight) Rodrigo Pettis (0-3) vs Verekedos Istvan (3-1) (Featherweight) Chris Machado (1-2) vs Take Cruise (2-1) (Welterweight)
