Running Solo

Fighter profile of Jaycen Solo by Outlaw Bleak

Welcome to Madness, Solo!

He worked his way up through the ranks of SMASH and earned a title shot against then champion Feaqeuin Bizihwaeile.  After suffering a loss, he went back to work and defeated Miz and Means, only to lose next to Brian Snow.  Shortly after that fight, his manager J.W. Hardman aquired SMASH in a blockbuster move merging two of the larger 350k orgs into one org.
Not wanting to find a conflict of interest, J.W. had Solo move to Madness MMA where he was welcomed with open arms.  He was given a fight quickly, and Solo went to work.  Pissed off at the world after his loss to Snow, and no longer having a chance to avenge it, he focused on his next opponent Paul Smecker.

Knowing Smecker was a striker, and Solo is far superior on the ground, Solo hit the gym and worked on his striking defense with the knowledge that his ground game would be suffice to win the fight if he could get it to the ground.
The fight took place on March 21st, only days ago, and Solo had his chance to shine.  Moments after the bell rang to start the fight, Solo took Smecker down with a lightning quick shoot takedown into side control.  From there, it was just a beat down.  Solo let loose on Smecker with every ounce of rage he could muster.  Anger that he lost his title fight, anger that he lost his last fight, anger that he has ever lost a fight.

In what seemed like an eternity to Smecker, 52 seconds into the first round the ref finally jumped in to stop the fight as Smecker was completely defenseless under the barrage of strikes and elbows from Solo.

When he gets the fight on the ground, Solo is a beast.  Nobody wants to fight that man on the ground, and if they do, they won't want to fight him again.  Solo is still very young in his MMA career, and with the way he introduced himself into Madness MMA, cracked the top 5 in the rankings, and is only getting better, it's just a matter of time before Solo will be swinging for the belt.

Look out Madness, there's a new Light Heavyweight in town, and he flies Solo!
