Madness 41 Seran vs Yun

What's up fight fans?

I'm your your stand in reporter Bobb Mogg

And this is your preview for Madness 41, Seran Vs Yun.

Coming from the Tinderbox of the 3000 capacity Hard Knocks Arena, Right here in Madness hometown territory of Montreal, Canada.
We have a Stacked Card to Get through tonight so let's delve straight in...

*(all fighters madness records in brackets.) *

Main Event:

Lightweight Bout

Seran V Yun,

"The Conjurer" Olyn Seran, 5-2 (all madness) has spent his entire career here and is really good all round mma artist, he's coming off a TKO loss, but this was a title fight against formidable champion Ryan Rodriguez, and he's one of the few fighters to take the champion past the first round. Before that he had reeled off 5 straight wins all being finished inside the distance, 3 Subs and 2 by Ko. He's not called the conjurer for no reason as he can weave his magic and finish a fight either on the feet or on the floor.

Zou Yun, 5-1 (1-0) is a tough veteran from China who's learned his craft on the island, All his wins have Come by way of knock out, and his only defeat was by decision. this will only be his second fight with madness but he's made himself right at home by winning his debut with a first round knock out.

Keys to Victory :

This should be a Humdinger of a main event with both fighters evenly matched in the stand up game. I think Seran needs to try and take advantage of his superior BJJ and take this to the ground asap, the trouble is, what Yun lacks in BJJ he more than makes up for with his Wonderful wrestling skills, so taking Yun down may prove tricky.

Co Main event :

Featherweight bout,

Sosa Vs Gardet,

Marcello "Hurricane" Sosa, 4-1-1,(3-1-1) Is a no nonsense Brawler who likes to get down and Dirty, Dishing out damage in the clinch, he's actually coming off a draw in his last bout, and although it didn't boost his digits in the win column, it certainly boosted his reputation with the fans, winning fight of the night honours for the second time in his career.

Sacha Gardet 7-0 Is another Dangerous fighter who has been spotted and scouted By Madness CEO Butch, This young Grappler is making his debut under the Madness Spotlights tonight, having come through the indie Qfc scene and then competing in last seasons Island competition. He is a lethal submission artist with 5 of his wins coming this way and 4 of them ending in the first round.

Keys to Victory:

I strongly suspect that this fight is going to be won or lost in the clinch. What makes this intriguing is the style clash here. Both fighters have Wonderful wrestling, so either fighter could be vulnerable. If Sosa Gets Taken down to the matt this fight could end quickly. If Gardet Gases out and struggles against Sosa's takedown defence then he's going to be potentially shipping some serious Damage and possibly get knocked out.
Postpone that trip to the toilet or bar while this fight is going down folk's...

Maincard :

Lightweight Bout

Kingstar Vs Morales

Pradak Kingstar 5-4 (5-3) Don't be deceived by the record, on first glance you could be forgiven for thinking Thai Native Pradak falls into the tough Journeyman category, but if you dig a little deeper into his profile, this young fighter has had a few setbacks in his relatively young mma career. After losing his first three fights, Kingstar split from his management team, since then he has joined the kwest stable, where he's turned his career around, his record is now an impressive 5-1 (4) by submission victories.

Hector Morales 4-2 (3-2)

Is coming off a two win heated Rivalry with fellow contender Magomedov, both wins were by way of convincing decision. With Morales Rocking his foe and had his Russian counterpart in all sorts of trouble in their Rematch. The tough Mexican relies on his fists and like many other legendary countrymen is an accomplished Boxer who has finished 50% of his by knock out.

Keys to Victory:

Although Kingstar is more than capable of holding his own in the stand up game, he hasn't shown the ability to carry knockout power in previous bouts, his strengths lie on the ground and I believe this is going to be a good old Striker versus Grappler contest.
May the best man win...

Maincard:

Heavyweight Bout,

Leifsson Vs Hands,

Leif "The Stand and Pray Viking" Leifsson. 6-2 (1-2) Is a Stocky Swedish Meatball of a Man. Standing at 5ft 6, he is on the short side for a heavyweight, but that hasn't seemed to hinder him in his mma career so far, he hits with the power of a demolition ball as all of his six wins have been won impressively by ko/tko.

Fish "The Stinky Sardine" Hands 6-2 (3-2) Has turned his career round in emphatic manner, after my last preview on him (madness 31) where he went off the rails, he's since checked himself into rehab for sex addiction, and his training team are overjoyed with his renewed sense of focus commitment in the gym, His last two victories have come in double quick time with two devastating knock out victories.

Keys to Victory:

Well our First battle between the big boys this evening should be a stand up thriller, both are knock out Artists, If you blink you could miss the Fireworks Fight Fans...

Maincard:

Bantamweight Bout,

Fork Vs Decimal,

Forky Fork 2-1 (2-0) This Solid young fighter has made a Great start to his fledgling career here at madness, going 2-0 both by way of knockout, he does have one submission loss, but he looks like a really well rounded fighter, his boxing and wrestling particularly stand out, he also has one of the best managers in the business with Ayib2.0 guiding him.

Dewey Decimal "system" 6-2 (5-2) Is a calculated customer in the cage, (excuse the pun) an exceptional mma student this fighter doesn't mind putting in the rounds, 4wins by unanimous decision and three by submission. He's going to be looking to school his opponent in the cage no matter where the fight unfolds.

Keys To Victory :

Our only bantamweight fight tonight, looks like a tough match up for Fork against a much more experienced fighter, he will be looking to stay on the outside and use his vastly superior boxing skills. Whereas Decimal should be looking to take this fight to the matt, as Forks only defeat has come by way of submission.

      Preliminary Round up.

Lightweight bout,

Kai Kona 2-2 ( 2-1 )
vs
Johnny Winkleman 2-0

Kona is a stand up fighter who's not quite lived up to expectations so far, Undefeated Winkleman is however making his debut in the big leagues, will Kona take advantage of the situation or Will Winkleman hold his nerve and make a statement...

Welterweight bout.

Victor "Razer" Reznov 3-3 (2-3)
vs
Seemah "toe jam" Feet 1-1 (1-0)

These Two mid tier well rounded fighters need to get back on track and start climbing the Rankings. Clash of styles here where submission artist Reznov needs to stay away from Feets Lethal Muay Thai Kicks.

Welterweight bout,

Nate "BJJ" Gracie 2-3 (0-2)
vs
Andrey "Goro" Gorohov (0-1)

Both fighters have been underwhelming so far, and are still looking for their first victory here at Madness, but either of them can get their overall records back to 50/50 with a victory,

Light Heavyweight bout,

Magnuss "The Northern light" Gunnarsson 2-2 (1-2)
vs
John "Wild" Williams (0-2)

Both fighters are really good boxers, Gunnarsson does have the advantage of a more solid jujitsu background and both his wins have come by way of Submission, he can improve his overall record to 3-2 with another victory, Williams hasn't taken easier fights in the indies and jumped straight into the big league here at madness which you have to give him credit for. But he desperately needs a victory to get the monkey off his back, and a much needed morale boost.

Heavyweight bout

Og King Kong Sacred Saints Gang 1-2 (0-2)
vs
Boogie Mann 3-5 (0-4)

Our first bout of the evening brings us the first of two Heavyweight clashes tonight.
Both fighters really haven't transferred their amateur pedigree and victories in the indies (Qfc) over to the Professional Paid ranks, I can't put my finger on whether it's a lack of heart and desire, or just nerves from stepping up a level?? But the good news is one of them really should be picking up their first pro victory tonight.

Unless they manage to somehow draw...
